Been waiting a while to write a review so I can fully assess how The Aquarian has helped me…read more.. starting like 6 months prior to me going, I started getting severe bloating even when no food was in my stomach. Like I looked 6 months pregnant all the time even before meals. I eat healthy so I was at a loss to what was causing it. I also am normally 160 lbs and don't fluctuate at all, but in the last 6 months, I was up to 168 lbs and was so confused why because my lifestyle never changed at all. My doctor tried to convince me that I had to go on antidepressants (?) for my gut health (!!??) which I thought was absurd. My doctor basically said best case scenario, I get transferred to GI and they do a bunch of tests for a lot of money and then they diagnose me with IBS. There's apparently no treatment or cure for IBS so I wasn't satisfied with this, especially since I didn't always have the bloating issue. My mom told me that she secretly went to a colon hydrotherapist and it helped her and when she told me what that was I was seriously grossed out but also so uncomfortable from the bloating and so desperate. I called him and honestly thought he was kind of cocky, but didn't have another option so I went. I was so nervous but he was really chill and make me comfortable. It's basically in his apartment which is kind of weird, but he was clean, had the right supplies, and I've been two times already! Gonna make my third appointment right now. Back down to my regular 160 lbs from doing nothing, so I guess it was just 8 lbs of poop stored up lol. During the process, he was extremely knowledgeable and What I've learned is that you should just do what he says. It works. He may be blunt, but just don't be sensitive and it will help you! He even gave me this clay to put on my skin because he said I had an uneven skin tone LOL but let me tell you that clay worked so good and I'm buying my own! The fiber that he gave me I was suspicious about but listened and took it every day. Totally helped and sooooo much came out on my second visit I was SHOCKED and kind of horrified. After the second visit, my "bloating" was still relatively flat stomach evne after eating food and I thought I was cured so I stopped taking the fiber. After 6 weeks, the bloating came back! I immediately started taking the fiber again and am going to make another appointment for maintenance. The fiber, although very gross, works like a charm. Overall, totally worth it!

When we arrived they had us take off our shoes and gave us sandals to use, we also selected scents for the rooms and our tea preference. From there they showed us our rooms and had us change into robes before heading into the steam. While the space is too small for couples massages, we were able to go in the steam together and after we went into a room to drink our water/tea and relax ahead of the massage. Once they took us into the room the music was relaxing and they did a great job to ask where to focus and check in to make sure the pressure wasn't too much/too little. I had A LOT of tension in my back. While she was working on some problem areas I asked some questions about why it might be so tense/painful and it definitely was a mix of working out the pain to feel relief. The big takeaway was that I shouldn't go years between massages. After the massage we went back to the relaxation room and drank more water before heading out to pay. I felt so relaxed after the massage and would definitely recommend this business to others.

She encouraged us to book a full appointment, so we did. We then had a 90-minute appointment that consisted mostly of discussing our daughter's medical history and current health issues, but no treatment plan or concrete recommendations were provided. The only action taken was ordering a blood draw. It took a full week just to receive the requisition form, something our other doctors always provide the same or next day. When the requisition finally arrived, we noticed tests were ordered that we had specifically said were not needed (such as cortisol and thyroid panels), because our daughter's endocrinologist regularly monitors those. After the blood draw, communication essentially stopped. We emailed a week later asking if results had been received and also asked for guidance ordering a stool test, mentioning that we wanted to schedule our next appointment once that was done and also mentioning that our daughter isn't doing well. We never received any reply. Even after blood results were available and uploaded in our patient portal, there was no follow-up, and no review of the findings, even though there were some abnormal blood markers. The office simply never contacted us again. Given the lack of communication, lack of guidance, and absence of a treatment plan, we cannot recommend this provider. We felt our daughter was ultimately abandoned without any follow-through despite her not feeling well and our attempt to move forward with care.

After the course of treatment, I now only get them maybe once a month or two! A HUGE improvement if you ask me. One particular treatment where I had an active migraine, I could literally feel the pain leave my head as she moved the needles down to transition their flow (prickly sensation) to my feet- it was WILD. Not only did she help reduce my head pain and frequency significantly, but she always presented a very warm and welcoming environment. I'm not entirely a fan of needles, but she eased me into it, and ensured I was comfortable thru out the process (the heated bed helps). She always asked how each needle felt, if it needed more or less pressure, and offered to check in on me halfway thru the treatment. She also did some cupping, which was new to me, and help ease the tension coming down my neck and shoulders. Front desk staff are nice too, they remember you after a few treatments. It took me four visits to fill the first Groupon because I needed a consult, and three other visits because the shots were not filled and ready for pick up. I went to pick up the second Groupon and only 10 shots (out of 15) were prepared and ready for pick up. I was told that I would be called in a few days when the additional five were ready for pick up. No phone call. I returned to pick up the additional five and was told that I should have called before I came. I explained that I was told that I would be called and never received a phone call. I was then told that the Groupon was only good "one per person" and that was stated in the "fine print", The lady then handed me a flyer and told me I would need to pay the "promotional price" for the B12 shots. I explained the additional Groupon was a gift. Then I was told I would need to make a THIRD trip, and the lady wasn't sure if I would be getting my additional 5 shots. Poor communication and very poor customer service. There are plenty of other Groupons for B12 shots - I would suggest going somewhere else.
