I am disabled and my meds make the heat unbearable. Tim had his guys come out and put a couple of windw units in to get my family through the wait. They did not charge a single extra penny for the courtesy they provided, not even labor for the time his guys were here. As far as estimates go, I got three of them. Technician came over to tune up our HVAC systems on Oct 15, 2024. He said that the attic system…read morewasn't working properly and that it was resetting itself every 10 minutes. Also that the heat exchanger was cracked and required replacement. The Attic system was installed in 2013. He showed me a picture of where the metal pieces were welded together and said there was a small crack in the circular weld area. He said the same thing about the heat exchanger in the basement HVAC system. That one was installed in 2010. He told us if we didn't get the heat exchangers replaced, carbon monoxide could leak throughout the house. I have relatively new (3-year-old) carbon monoxide detectors on all three levels and none of them has ever gone off. He told us replacement heat exchangers would run about $4,200 each. Today, 10/30/2024, I had a second opinion. Another HVAC technician came out today and looked at the attic and basement systems and said they were working properly. That the heat exchangers were not cracked. And that the systems were working properly. The cheap tune-up offer is just a way for them to get into your house and lie about your HVAC system. Their technicians are either poorly trained or trained to scare you to get money out of you that you don't need to spend on your HVAC system. I don't like leaving bad reviews, which is why it took me so long to post this review. But today they texted me another "tune-up" offer to come out to my house after I told them not to contact me any further. They will never come back out to my house.

I called these clowns out to verify a leak location, I told them I thought it was probably in the…read moreattic at the evaporator coil. The technician first connected his gauges to the outside unit and verified the system was significantly low of refrigerant but was still pressurized. Then he proceeded to put in 3lbs of R-410A refrigerant into a system that he had verified had a significant leak, without even going into the attic with a leak detector, until after he had dumped $420.00 worth of refrigerant into the system. Topping off a system with a known leak like this was illegal under EPA rules and guidelines, idiotic if you were an honest technician or it was done deliberately to run up the bill and take advantage of a senior citizen with no regard for EPA rules or basic business ethics. I believe it was the latter. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy! Their repair job lasted a little over a day for a $498.00 repair bill.
