Best wine bar in Barcelona! They have super rare bottles that will make the biggest wino drool with moderate prices that won't break the bank. They have an amazing cellar filled to the brim with tons of fantastic bottles. Their prix fixe lunch special is one of the best deals you can get in Barcelona at a fancy restaurant, but the regular menu tapas are actually much better. Their cheeses and charcuterie selections are unique and portions are generous. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Ambiance feels very much like a swanky hotel restaurant. Clean and modern decor. Highly recommend.

Great spot! Very dressy and the service is incredible. Went here for traditional Spanish tapas and I can't get over how amazing the food was!

I couldn't understand giving less than five stars for this one. Six out of five would be even better, since the quality, service and the whole experience is otherworldly, and I don't know if my words will make it the justice it deserves. But let me try at least. The first time I tried Monvinic was a few years ago thanks to a friend that is a somelier (he knows a lot about wine!!). Since I'm quite into wine myself, I decided to give it a try. We developed a formula there: since there you will find a lot of different wines, I asked the waiter if he could possibly guide us through the experience. He agreed happily, and proceeded to bring over glasses of wines that he personally considered great choices. I was BLOWN AWAY: it was like a menu but with wine. We opened the night with some great cava, to continue with a few glasses of different types of white wine. I remember some germans, some from New Zeland, and every one was presented by the waiter with a well exposed explanation on how it is made, where, what the conditions are in those places that make the wine taste as it does. It was as if getting the enhanced experience: you could travel the world and feel different places in your mouth, all with a detailed explanation. After the white wine comes the red wine, and along with the desert you can try some "Jerez" wines (sweet wines from south Spain), or this red jewel that I tried yesterday that tasted like berries poured into my glass, I was just delighted and moved. But you can also try some "tapas", delicate little dishes with all sorts of imaginative food in intrincate compositions. It was really amazing, you can see the pictures that we took last night: all sorts of catalan products that are delivered by well selected producers. The mushrooms were delicious, the fish tartar was astonishingly good. This is a place where I go at least once a year, this place will charge more than a normal restaurant, but your mouth will be having the day of its life that day. I spent around 100€ for two people, and I consider it cheap for what we got. Honestly: you can't miss this place if you like wine!!

My favorite wine of the night!

Mind blown with the wine. I asked them to recommend a Spanish wine and said something like "when in Spain." The sommelier kindly pointed out that if I wanted to be true to the region then I should actually get a Catalonian wine. I agreed and he gave us the most fantastic Prioriat. Fell in love with the style. The food was also very good, though two weeks later I'm having a hard time remembering exactly what we had beyond the lamb. But I remember enjoying it while we were eating.

This is probably one of the best wine bars in Barcelona. The ambiance was romantic and cozy. I really liked that it was an upscale restaurant but the host was more then happy to help you and sit with you for a longtime to decide on a wine. I found the lady helping us to be so nice and knowledgeable. She knew everything about wine! It was awesome. I recommend this spot to any couple or group of friends that are in Barcelona and love wine. My boyfriend is. A big wine drinker and he was in heaven. They have wines from all over the world and there is a huge selection. I believe the lady said they had over 2,500 wines. They also help you pick the wine you want by giving you an iPad. The iPad has all the wines they carry and tells you where they come from, how much a glass is, and much more! Overall it was a great experience. Perfect way to end off a relaxing night!

Shrimp carpaccio!!!!!!! This was amazing :)

We got to eat at the chefs table in the back right next to the kitchen so it was a really nice experience being able to see the whole process. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was very good. We all ordered the classic tasting menu which was around 60€ I believe or maybe 45€ (sorry I can't remember!) and the chefs chose what to feed us. I loved the first dish which was a shrimp carpaccio. It was my favorite dish of the night. I was a little disappointed with one of the dishes that reminded me of Chinese takeaway but my boyfriend loved it..overall it was all tasty. We decided to let the sommelier bring us a half-full glass of wine to pair with each dish which made the experience even more fun. We probably tried around 10 glasses. I would definitely come here again!

A special mention goes to Nadia, the dessert chef--her talent truly shines through in the beautifully crafted and unforgettable desserts. Be aware: Do NOT waste your money at this restaurant if you are Asians!!!…read more We dined at Disfrutar with high expectations given its 3 Michelin stars, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were the second party to check in yesterday. However, when several hosts came out, they escorted multiple European groups who arrived after us into the restaurant first, while leaving our party waiting. As an Asian family visiting from the United States, this made us feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about whether we were being treated differently. The situation became even more concerning during the meal. My daughter was holding a glass of orange juice when the glass suddenly broke in her hand and cut her left thumb. A staff member came to clean the table and clearly saw her bleeding finger, yet there was no apology, no concern, and not even a simple "Are you okay?" This lack of basic care and empathy was shocking. At a Michelin 3-star level, service should be attentive, respectful, and consistent for every guest. Unfortunately, our experience made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. At this level, service is not optional--it is a fundamental part of the experience. Being made to feel overlooked and unwelcome, combined with the lack of care in a situation involving a child's injury, made this an experience we cannot recommend. To be fair, the cuisine itself was exceptional--creativity, presentation, wine quality, and overall execution were all at a very high level (close to 10/10). The taste was strong (around 8/10). However, the customer service was extremely poor (1/10), and unfortunately, that overshadowed the entire experience. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how all guests are treated. There are many choices when it comes to fine dining, and service matters just as much as the food.

In his namesake restaurant in Barcelona, he creates an authentic Catalonia-inspired menu using only certified local ingredients that are sustainable, organic, and ethically sourced wherever possible. Sergi de Meia's commitment to not only outstanding cuisine, but also to the environment and the community is impressive. A friend and I enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Sergi de Meia. The staff was wonderful, providing impeccable and attentive service that goes above and beyond the standard of hospitality. I thought the restaurant design was beautiful, and while the space is narrow and deep, the décor is light and contemporary, which makes for a great atmosphere. We share similar tastes, so my friend and I each ate the same dishes. We started with a taste of cauliflower cream, with pea shoots and crushed nuts. The cream was smooth and the nuts added a crunchy texture. The local asparagus with sheep's cheese cream and herbs was fresh and earthy, the vegetable tender and not tough, while the cream was salty and seasoned with the right mix of herbs. We also tried eggs and potato riojana style, and the flavors really gave a sense of the famous region of Spain. During the main course, we enjoyed fresh fish from the local market, with fresh green peas, chanterelle and saffron, which added a beautiful dose of color. We also loved the dish of local sheep, pumpkin, egg and cheese, as the texture provided an outstanding mouthfeel and is the epitome of local comfort food. For dessert, the server recommended the specialty chickpea fritters with cream, which use the traditional Catalonian chickpea flour. They were sweet and dense, a perfect way to end the delicious meal.

Deelish! Although there is a nice variety in their menu, the four of us selected the same two main courses: El Buen Rollo (Gołąbek), a large cabbage roll stuffed with nicely seasoned ground beef and rice, covered with a somewhat sweet tomato sauce.
