We have been meaning to come to this restaurant for a long time so we were very excited to finally visit yesterday. The hostess was very polite and helpful, and we were excited to see the beautiful outdoor seating area the restaurant offered. Unfortunately everything else fell flat. We were not greeted for several minutes so I had to flag down a young woman who wasn't even dressed like a waitress. She acted irritated and annoyed to be addressed by guests and then told us she would find our server. We were then greeted by a young man who told us he was actually stationed inside and was asked to take our table as a transfer. My guess is the young lady didn't want a new table and asked him to take it, despite him being occupied inside. Our appetizer came BEFORE our drinks (which all took forever even though the place was only at maybe 20% capacity.) The spinach dip was nothing I would order again. We ordered the Mahi and shrimp. The Mahi mahi was OK, shrimp was good, but the mashed potatoes were plopped on the plate cafeteria style and the spinach was not cooked well. Will never order again. My mom has no desire to return. I would consider going back for a drink outside but am unsure if I'd order food. This place has a lot of potential, I hope they work on the service and food. As

This was my first time eating here, and I had read the mixed reviews. We absolutely loved the place! We sat out back on the patio. My husband had the chicken fried steak and I had the pimento cheese appetizer and a jalapeño margarita. Everything was exceptional. We will be back! The couch outside made me chuckle as it gave off Ruth Langmore vibes.

The restaurant was very nice and perfect for our double date night. The food and drinks were good. Sister in law loved her Santa Maria (I think that's what it was called) which says a lot because she doesn't like any alcoholic drink she ever orders lol. We all ordered something different and it looked like everyone was happy. Service was good too. Definitely will be back.

Pimiento cheese app was very good. Could have had a few more slices of bread. The sides that came with it were pickled and yummy.

They found seating for our large group, and we had one of the most attentive, personable, and organized servers I've ever experienced. I wish I had gotten his name because he deserves all the recognition. We had four generations of family represented, and somehow he kept everyone's drink orders, straight, even the refills. He made sure every order was correct despite special requests and substitutions. He timed the appetizers and entrées perfectly, so no one was awkwardly waiting for their food, and he split all of our checks quickly and accurately. On top of all that, he managed to make friendly conversation and kept everyone in a celebratory mood the entire time. He was genuinely impressive. The food was just as enjoyable, the menu offered a variety so everyone found something they were excited to order. I had the cedar planked salmon with the most delicious bourbon glaze. We also shared the deviled eggs and the chips and dip which were both good. Even the chicken tenders got rave reviews from the young ones. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate PawPaws 90th birthday. Great food, exceptional service, and a wonderful experience for the entire family.

Our appetizer which was a long platter could not be sat in the middle due to uneven tables. But even before that I sat my tea glass and spilled the entire glass . The waiter who was present came back and only partially cleaned it up and didn't replace our napkins which we had used to hold back the tea. My son had to go get napkins to clean his side of the table and a puddle of tea was still on the floor when we left. My tilapia for the first time had a fishy taste and mine and my wife's matchsticks vegetables were very sour for the first time. I did not eat mine. My son's chicken Parmesan dish had a macaroni cheese noodles. Last of all I was going to use my InKind app to pay only to find you no longer use it. First time ever I was disappointed here. Believe I have always given a 5 but 2 is best I can do today.

There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.
