I talked with Michael over the phone and he came out right away and did a temporary patch on our roof while we waited for the weather to lighten up a bit! He also helped communicate with the insurance company when my 70 year old mother was having problems explaining what was going on. Then as soon as it was not raining/snowing they scheduled with us and came right out and redid our entire roof and skylights It was so fast and there was literally no mess! The last time we had our siding done by another company we were picking up nails and broken pieces around our house for weeks! His team of very hardworking roofers came and finished everything in one day! Very importantly, a few things really to Matt's credit and all the people that work for him. Phone calls promptly returned, usually within minutes. Start to finish in one day. Took proactive steps to protect the landscape, central air, garage doors, etc... Cleaned up! Did a really good job at cleaning up. Several of my neighbors commented to me as well that they were impressed at how well of a job they did. I also had 1 piece of aluminum fascia that needed replacement which they replaced and matched very well to existing that had been put up about 17 years ago. I sought out bids from multiple roofers, with Matt's being the most competitive, despite 1 of the other bids using exactly the same materials. Matt also has a greater detailed contract, spelling out clearly what's included, so you don't have to guess. Some of the other contracts I reviewed were not very complete, nor as professional looking. He has a very well rounded approach from start to finish and respectful as well. By the way, I am a Real Estate Appraiser for 45 years and have watched quite a few roofers. I never knew Matt before he did my roof. So, if someone asks me, I will have no problem recommending. The owner said he would take care of the damages, not to involve the police or insurance. My husband is nice guy and actually worried about the driver losing his job. After my husband received 2 quotes, the owner changed the whole story and refused to pay. They may do good work, but they are not upstanding, honest humans. When I first…read morecontacted High Point, the owner, Angelo, spoke to me directly and scheduled time to come to our home. He brought a ton of samples of different materials, recommendations for different types of materials under there shingles and brought pages and pages of references of happy customers. We have a very high pitch roof and the work he did was simply amazing. We have a new house from the gutter to the ridge. His team even took time to paint our vents to match the roof color. This is an example of the attention to detail that Angelo and his crews take pride in doing for their customers. The entire job took a day and a half to complete and there wasn't a piece of garbage, shingles, nails (you name it) on the ground. They protected my landscape, my windows, my doors and anything that could potentially be damaged by removing shingles. Angelo also met with my contractor who was doing some work with me in my backyard to ensure that our roof was protected from ice dams in the winter, etc. He has that kind of foresight and will stand behind his work. I cannot recommend High Point Roofing more. Stop your search and go with the best - he really exceeded expectations from start to finish and I would use him again in a heartbeat!
