Unfortunately, It was delivered with silver or white (animal?)hair on it, wrinkled and showed signs of being worn by someone else, ugh! I had only read about these kind of reviews on Amazon where this happened, well it happened to me. The gala event was the next day, Saturday began at 5pm. Trying to use a roller brush to remove the hair and steam the gown, this was not working!! Panic kicked in! I called Ablitt's Fine Cleaners at 11am on a Saturday and spoke with Miguel, the general manager. Miguel said, "bring the gown in within an hour and I'll see what I can do. After handing gown over to Miguel at 12pm, I recieved a phone call from Miguel at 2pm, " the gown is ready!! Yay!! It looked flawless!! Thank you, Miguel!! You saved my life! And I recieved so many compliments on the gown! P.S. I have used Abblitt's on may occasions. One of those times, I brought my long coat in to be dry cleaned. It was missing a button when I dropped it off. When I picked it up about a week later, no one at Ablitt's said anything, but when I removed the plastic cover and hung my coat up, I noticed my coat had all of it's buttons. No need for multiple revisions and fittings, just knocked it out of the park. Soheila was tasked with shortening my wedding gown, repairing broken beaded straps, and adding a bustle. The detail work on the bottom incudes delicate boning, lace/embroidery, bead work, and sequins. She had to remove each individual flower, take off one continuous thread of beading and sequins, shorten it, re-do the boning, and then put everything back together. It looks absolutely flawless and the way it hangs defies gravity. I truly feel like a princess when I wear it. The bustle in the back is easy to secure, sturdy for dancing, and is perfectly placed such as to highlight the contours of my derrière, if you will. Soheila must have spent many, many hours on my gown and still offered a more competitive price than other tailors I spoke with. I ended up choosing her over other tailors because she genuinely loves her job and seemed so joyful to offer her skills to make my day special. She is quick, communicative, sweet, reasonably priced, and an absolute master of her craft. I know I am supposed to think about my husband as I walk down the aisle, but I'm pretty sure I will think of Soheila at least for a moment.
