I cannot warn strongly enough against relying on Haze. No show. No call. No apology…read more I booked Haze to pick-up and load my UBox containers for an interstate move. The morning of my move, I was told no crew was available. I had flown cross-country solo, and without other options, I agreed to reschedule for the following day, including booking an additional night of hotel and paying increased airfare. Haze confirmed they would be there... The following day, after the first last-minute cancellation, they were unresponsive to multiple texts and calls over a multi-hour period, both from me and from agents at Uhaul. They did not show. They did not respond. They cost me hundreds of dollars in increased moving fees and travel overages, and have still been completely unresponsive. Buyer beware...

I had asked them if they were available the next day for junk removal at the old property (short notice, I know), and even though they were unable to make the accommodations, they got me an amazing rate with a company they work closely with! Abel came out and did an estimate for me the same day I called him. The day he arrived he kept in communication with me throughout the whole process. Kurb King (805) 890-2999…read moreI highly recommend this business. Their customer service is second to none. We asked Abel & guys to help us move a very large dining set. With a very short notice. He was so helpful with that & our concerns about a very delicate piece with curved glass. The time of this had to be done in the early evening. They accommodated the time At exactly the agreed time they arrived at the pick up location. They were very considerate of the sellers property & anticipated any concerns they had. So, very carefully they moved this set onto their trailer. Wrapped the pieces & brought it to my home. Once there they decided how to move things into place they started bringing things in. They even wiped the dust off before they brought it in the house. Start to finish everything in place was two hours. The nicest guys I have ever worked with. They offer many services. We will be asking for their assistance with other things going forward. Thank you again Kurb King & the guys! (805) 890-2999 Kurb King (805) 890-2999 I highly recommend this business. This was a "half-move" -- we were moving from our temporary residence back into our home after a renovation, so we only had about a 15' U-Haul worth of stuff. This was just about perfect for Man with a Van. But the best part was the employees (I wish I had asked their names, but moving day left me scatterbrained) -- they were efficient, attentive, really went the extra effort in getting our stuff safely into our house, quickly disassembling a few pieces that were now too large to fit into our new doors (I got them out, and never thought there'd be such trouble getting them back in). I'd say combine that great service with the competitive pricing, and this is the company for your move assist/small move/hauling project. Just really great guys who, in my mind, made some magic happen on a really stressful day.
