Jordan was incredibly patient and took the time to explain everything without ever making us feel…read morerushed. He carefully tested the water, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood exactly what our pool needed. Thanks to his help, our pool is finally crystal clear and beautifully blue. Excellent customer service!

My…read moreexperience inquiring about a simple spa cover cleaning with Bella Blu Pools turned into a masterclass in sketchy business practices. When I reached out for a straightforward quote to clean the cover, I was met with complete opacity and high-pressure sales tactics instead of standard pricing: The "Name What's Fair" Pricing Trap: Rather than providing a transparent rate for the job, they refused to give a standard price and instead flipped it back on me, asking me to name a price I thought was fair. It's an obvious and manipulative negotiation tactic designed to test what a customer knows and extract the maximum amount possible. Aggressive Client Poaching: Instead of focusing on the actual cover cleaning I inquired about, they immediately started prying into my current spa service and launched into aggressive, boundary-crossing attempts to poach me away from my established provider. A simple service inquiry shouldn't involve mind games and high-pressure pitches. Save yourself the headache and stick with true professionals who value transparency and respect boundaries. Update: he also sent an inappropriate text after I posted this review.

Ken is a godsend. My aging gas pool/spa heater suddenly quit and I called one of the "big name"…read morepool service companies serving Santa Barbara. They walked around the unit a couple of times, declared the unit unrepairable, and offered to replace it for $3500. Then I called Everclear and Ken and a technician were at my house within two days. They quickly isolated the problem (a failed igniter) and had the correct part on their truck. I was back in business within an hour. A couple of days later I found that the heater was firing up but wasn't getting up to the temperature I wanted. The technician came back the next day and fixed that by adjusting a control. Total cost for the two visits, the troubleshooting, the part (which even on Amazon goes for $70-130) and the repair labor was $300, which I found very reasonable and a lot better than $3500. Best yet is that in Everclear's estimation my heater still has 5 years of life left, or perhaps more. Just last week I have having a problem with my variable speed pool pump, which was running erratically and speeding up and down. I was worried that my pump might be failing -- a $2500 replacement job. Ken arrived promptly and within a few minutes found that my pool vacuum was letting too much air into the pump inlet line. He installed a new adjustable skimmer (a $75 gadget) and -- voila! -- problem solved. I am a new pool owner, having moved into a house with a pool about a year ago. Its great to now have Everclear as my one stop shop for pool issues.

See photo. Improperly installed sand filter lead to heater part breaking and sand all in my spa and…read morepool. He and Yaz both would say this is normal. NOT! We did bring up about the sand both to him and then to Yaz. Whoever is maintaining the pool when they do a backwash, it's important that they can address that issue. I could get into the technicalities of the install issue that we had Santa Barbara Koi identify and fix, but this would get too long. It is true and we appreciate that you could offer to come remove some of the sand when It was identified that too much sand had been put in during install. Then overtime that cracked a certain pipe and overtime it also created heater problems and is why we had to repair and eventually get a new heater. Then the new heater had issues that were super odd and that is when the other company who handles the warranty discovered the issue with the sand filter. Had it and installed correctly we would not have had the eventual pipe issue and the heater problems. If anybody really wants to dive into it, they can private message me. Jared , if you would like more insights about this you can talk to the warranty representative leader in town. I know you both spoke a few times about the issue. I also know that Yaz texted you these pictures in November 2018 but nobody seem to have addressed it until we got Santa Barbara Koi involved - when we had even problems with the new heater because of the sand. Also be very careful that he is not using photos of your property without your permission. We have found images that we have not authorized He reaction to my honest review - just my datapoint - is a bit unnerving.

He accurately quoted the repairs, and kept in touch during the entire process. And came in on the low end of the estimate, and far exceeded my expectations.
