Hi, I have lived as a Resident at CCCG nursing home since September 2020, and still live here. I am a 71 year old woman. I know the Kitchen staff well and I am really pleased to give some "shout outs" to those I know best. First, the morning full-time chef, Rose, is first rate in her job! It's a fine breakfast menu and Rose makes sure that the food is delivered hot and on time. Pretty impressive when you realize that this is about a 200-bed facility. And, there are many special menus each and every day either for dietary reasons, or at the requests of doctors, or for special requests to due any particular medical testing a Resident may be undergoing. Rose makes sure we all get what we need. Add to that the fact that Rose is a lovely and caring person. She has always been ready to help me in any way possible. Now, I do not know every member of the Kitchen staff by name, but I do know some by name who also deserve a "shout out." Specifically, Lloyd, who I think is the Assistant Manager of the Kitchen. He has never failed to make sure I get my many "special requests" for dinner and has even been known to personally deliver it to my room so it's not late. He's got a bit of a race to get from the lower lobby all the way up 3 stories to my 2nd floor room (at the very end of the hallway) and he always does it with a smile. Another special staff member is Barbara who is a safe bet to pitch in where necessary whenever needed. Always with a smile and friendly attitude towards all of us. I'm beginning to think that her job is just do everything! Also, I absolutely do not want to leave out those staff who are known for doing a yeoman's job throughout the entire process of "working on the line" for each meal and every day. They work from the very start to the very finish when all is cleaned and prepped for the next meal or the next day. The men are Anthony, Luke, Norman and King. They are all great and very friendly toward the Residents. It's really an "all hands on deck" process in the Kitchen. The women are all part of the process along with the men as they work side by side in a rhythmic dance of their very own, all without crashing large, heavy food carts into each other, or more importantly, into a Resident! When I see them doing this work as I pass them on my way to the beautiful, large outdoor patio I just think "Wow, I'm glad I'm retired!" ‍ So when speaking of the Kitchen staff service at CCCG as a whole I must add back in Barbara and the other women I see, but unfortunately do not know their names. In addition, there are the other men whose names I don't know. They all work alongside each other. I wish I did know all of their names especially as they are so darn friendly and always have a hello for any of us. But I did warn you at the beginning that I am a 71 year old woman and I blame my inability to remember the name of all of the staff members at CCCG on my age. I gave you fair warning at the beginning of this review. ‍ In selecting a nursing home I hope that you find my review useful for yourself or your loved one. Overall, I am happy here.

The staff were aware of…read morethis, yet when I went there, her water (important to be hydrated with a UTI) was on her table which was pushed away from the bed. She was very thirsty. I asked for some juice, which seemed to be a big deal and impossible to accommodate. I was told several times that they would put an order in with the kitchen. An hour later-still nothing. The women across the hall yelled "help" for over an hour. I saw nurses and aides continuously pass her room, yet not enter. About 3-4 aides, within earshot were talking And laughing -not a care in the world. After three days and ZERO physical therapy, bad food, and neglect, we took her home and are trying to manage on our own. 2 stars instead of 1 because there was one nurse's aide who really took time to thoroughly clean her up.

Programs include process groups, educational classes, mindfulness meditation, and yoga to name a few. Clients are provided with resources to assist in their recovery both mentally and physically. Clinicians and speakers approach the 12 step program with knowledge from both personal and educational experience. The staff at Blue Crest Recovery Center are compassionate and professional. The clinicians are experienced, patient, and genuinely concerned about the well being of all clientele. Clinicians are educated and knowledgeable in different aspects of addiction which provides clients a wide array of treatment approaches and strategies. Clients are provided a therapist that offers one-one-one meetings in order to focus on individual concerns and growth. The medical staff is available for any concerns, and the nurses are attentive to every patient's needs. I highly recommend Blue Crest Recovery Center to anyone seeking help for addiction. The combination of professional staff, personalized care, and a nurturing environment made a world of difference for me. The program isn't easy, but if you're committed to recovery, this place will provide the support you need.

My mother was briefly in this facility recently. It was a shocking experience. The facility was run…read moredown and dirty. While everyone we met was very nice, several repeatedly verbalized how understaffed they are and how poor the facilities are. The air conditioning did not work, nor did the television remote. The room was clearly meant for one person and my mother was a second patient stuck in a small space. On more than one occasion her oxygen machine began to squirt water all over her face and one time when I reported it I was told "oh that is okay." I was shocked that anyone could walk in and out, even at 9 oclock at night. I appreciated the kindness of several staff members, but having a parent there was scary and we felt helpless. I am not sure if I would be writing a review if the above was the worst of it. Unfortunately, on the second day my sibling showed up at 1pm and found that my mother was still asleep. At that point we learned that she had not woken up at all that day for longer than a few minutes. When asked whether she had spoken at all we were told yes, she had repeatedly said "Help me." She was left in bed and ignored, and nobody told us. My sister tried to wake her up and eventually the daughter of another patient came to help her, but she would not wake. When she said she needed to return to the hospital she experienced resistance, and later my sister overheard staff talking about how stupid it was for her to leave. Needless to say, when she arrived at the hospital she ended up in ICU and we are still working to understand what happened. We are not able to comment on the quality of the rehab work since it never occurred. I do not question whether there are good people working at this facility (we saw it), but it is very clear that they lack the staff, training, and resources for the job. I will forever live with the guilt of allowing my mother to stay there, though.

Amanda and Kelsey are absolutely amazing with handling my PT as I was paralyzed from the waist down. I'm now walking with the help of a walker because of their diligence and work ethic. Bridget brings great positive energy to the facility as it is difficult at times to stay motivated when you are in and out of hospitals. Amanda called to check up on me which shows how much they care about their job and patients. It keeps me motivated when I'm feeling helpless as a man. Kim was helpful to get me scheduled immediately. In addition, she was always very welcoming. I was assigned Bridget as my therapist. Bridget was very thorough and patient. I was impressed in how observant she was to my progress and carefully paced my program. I was being treated for Vestibular trauma. Who knew there was treatment for dizziness/vertigo symptoms? I went in to therapy hopeful but skeptical. I couldn't believe how much better I felt early on in my treatment. Bridget was so caring and it is obvious she knows her stuff! What I also enjoyed was that she thoroughly explained every task and treatment along with the ultimate goal. She would even say "studies have shown...", which I appreciated! I cannot say enough about my experience at Kessler. While I did not work directly with the other therapists, my interactions with them were always positive. The facility welcomes an array of ages and ailments for both PT and OT. I highly recommended their services. Thank you to everyone at Kessler in Clifton!

I worked with Joe R at Parabolic in Little Falls for almost a year, originally for recurring calf…read morestrains and wrist soreness, but it ended up being so much more. He helped me with alignment issues and improved them so much that I no longer need orthotics when running or playing tennis. Joe is technically knowledgeable and is operating at a higher level than most PTs I've worked with. He's also super fun to hang out with. Staff at Parabolic is very nice and responsive. Only complaint is that they aren't in-network for my insurance!

Well sorry Malibu Ken that's not happening, EVER!!! We will take our business to another physical therapy office that provides a higher level of care than Probolic. I suffer from Vertigo and it has occurred every year for a few years now. It can be a few weeks or…read morea few months. This time I had Bronchitis and afterwards the vertigo lasted for a few months. Nothing I could do would make it better. I called Kessler and got an appointment, the 1st visit didn't really show much, but Bridget Greenwald,the Vestibular Therapist new something was up. I knew it wasn't gone. On the second follow up she found and treated the Vertigo. I felt better but was unsure, the clarity in my head wasn't all back yet. 3rd visit, all went well. And it made me so happy not to feellike I had a space helmet on and I regained my balance. Bridget is a great listener and therapist. She has never minimized my complaints. She is an excellent therapist and very empathetic. The treatment area is clean and they maintain a high level of professionalism. I am very appreciative and don't look forward to getting vertigo again, but if I do, I am calling Bridgett G. at Kessler.

The nursing home is a large Victorian home with additional patient rooms and facilities in the back. Almost two years ago our family was placed in the unfortunate situation of having to find a nursing facility for our dear mother with Dementia. Through an advertisement in a local paper, we decided to call Little Nursing Home for some much needed information and guidance, as this situation was totally new to us. The director, Pat, who has since retired, was an invaluable and comforting guide for our family during this heartbreaking and confusing time for us all. Our decision to place Mom at LNH has been one we have never regretted. Mom is at peace and very well taken care of by the staff, who are a cross between angels and rock stars in my book! Aside from her physical needs and care being well taken care of, attention is paid to the patient's emotional state as well. Weather it's a game of Bingo, a manicure, or just spending time on a family visit on the front porch in nice weather, the caring staff members are kind, pleasant, and caring. Any health issues or needs are quickly addressed and communicated to the family. If you are looking for a large, corporate facility, this would probably not be for you. If, however, you are looking for a small, caring and homey atmosphere for your family member, look no further than Little Nursing Home!
