I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026…read more Front Row, Center Tickets to Ms. Diana Ross' Concert Performance I've been to numerous events at the Dr. Phillips Center but nothing beats having the opportunity to see a legend perform within arms-length to where you're seated. And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

The given night I came here Driveways was playing and I must say it was a super fun show it sounded good the venue was awesome for music and the staff was very nice at the door! My gps did put me in the wrong spot so keep in mind that it's around the corner so if you don't see it right away keep venturing and you'll find it! Overall super cool venue with awesome sound hope to come back here again at some point for another show! Until then see you in the circle pit!

I wouldn't recommend section C - they had those tall metal chairs that look uncomfortable in that section. I honestly wish I'd got section A, but those shows sell out so quickly that it seems harder to snag those. The sound was amazing & the band was really talented. The look/vibe is really great too! The doors don't open till right before showtime, but there's covered tables & chairs to sit & wait. Parking was a bit tight. The doormen were very fast & efficient. Everyone was friendly too! Overall I really like The Abbey & am going back again in a few weeks, Oh - pro tip - there's an absolutely OUTSTANDING sushi restaurant around the corner & they were very accommodating when we said we were in a hurry to get to the show on time. Shows are every Friday and the comedians are not always the same every week.

Now it's earlier at 8pm! The cast last night were so quick witted and kept the chuckles coming. I went on a Saturday evening and was greeted by the staff, who scanned my ticket and welcomed me in. The entrance had a bar area, where soda, water, and alcoholic drinks were available. Beyond the lobby was a small art gallery where you can buy paintings for a reasonable price. The bathroom was in a different place, but not too far away and clean. Once we were ushered into the theater, it was an old school with regular stadium seats and a small projector for the movie. We were warned that it would be hot inside because of AC issues, and they were not kidding. Many audience members had fans to cool off. There was a preshow explaining the movie, the rules, and how to participate during the movie. The MC, Michael from the Rich Weirdos, and their cast members, will recreate some scenes and interact with the audience during the movie. I must say they did an awesome job, even at the hot theater. The right props were used at the best time, and they interacted with the audience so well. The audience engaged with the movie so well, heckling/riffing almost each line and scene. Foul language was encouraged for the show, and many audience members used them at the appropriate times. The staff were very good in keeping a liberal participation, and the audience was awesome in following the small rules. While the movie was a bit difficult to understand as it was a low budget, the Rich Weirdos and the audience are what made this show awesome. Even though I was nervous about the not so family friendly atmosphere, it was still fun and I wasn't pressured to do anything uncomfortable. After the movie was over, there was a post show costume contest at the end. The staff at Fringe ArtSpace were welcoming and friendly. They helped everyone out, and lots of posters as messages explaining what to expect and reminders that this wasn't family friendly movie/show. The Rich Weirdos did an amazing performance with the props and interactions. My only suggestion is to please offer water in advance before the show as I was sweating a bit inside. For 22 dollars after taxes and fees, this was such a great deal. Not to mention that the Bluwave restaurant downstairs offered a free seadragon vodka drink for all ticket holders as well. I am definitely looking forward to attending another fun show with Fringe ArtSpace and The Rich Weirdos in the near future.

We were told the main VIP area was "full," yet it remained largely empty throughout the night, even after the headliner took the stage. Staff informed us that access required spending over $1,200 on bottle service, despite many tables sitting vacant. The show itself was great, and we still enjoyed it from the balcony of the secondary VIP area, but it was frustrating to watch the venue keep prime VIP sections empty rather than provide value to guests who had already paid for VIP access. It felt more focused on upselling bottle service than creating a good experience for paying customers.
