My issue wasn't though with the facility, amenities, etc. My issue was with the customer service, the actual face to face customer service by these kids working there. The cashier that helped us, I wanted to ask "Why are you such in a sh@tty mood? Get your @ss home!" The other people basically same attitude, but I'm older and don't expect that generation to be any better.

The trams to bring you to the track were available and running smoothly. Entry into the venue was also smooth. You are allowed to bring food and some drinks into the venue. Be sure to check the rules about what is prohibited. The seats were easy to access by stairs or elevators. The concessions were reasonable and the bathrooms were well stocked and clean. We walked around the venue after Indy race and before the NASCAR race and had fun at the booths and listening to interviews with drivers. The lines to get back to the trams were long and the parking lots were crazy busy, even after we waited. We expected that, but heard some people complain that they waited close to two hours to get out of the lots.

The process of getting in was quick and easy. There weren't many so the line was super short and quick. There is a limit # of people for the table. I believe we were over by 3-4 and they paid an extra $50/person, which isn't bad! Once we all got our wristbands, they walked us to our table next to main stage. Staff members were all friendly and service was quick! They'll even remove random people from your area who sneak in to get a better view. Tbh, the view was okay. A table is nice so you have a place to sit and you can put stuff down if needed, but being in the crowd with center view of the stage is actually much more fun! Another good thing about VIP is the cleaner bathrooms with shorter lines, which I do prefer. And of course, not having to wait in line for drinks is another plus. I believe my friend said the total for the table was $7k. My only regret that night was not walking around to check out the other stages! Stayed at main stage/VIP area the whole time. I wish I had explored a bit since it was my first time attending an event at this location.

(check their website for year round performance info.) For the annual Phoenix Improv Festival at the Herberger Theater, they jury in the best groups from around the United States for one action packed weekend. All you have to do is show up at the theater (well, get tickets first of course) and you'll have an opportunity to see some of the most interesting improv groups from around the USA all without spending a minute waiting for a flight out of sky harbor airport. Get ready to stretch your perceptions of what improv is, as these groups have so many different takes on it. Some will make you laugh, others will be wickedly irreverent or will amaze you with their talents at weaving a cohesive story line. Still others will have you thinking about them a month or longer after seeing their performance because of all the subtle intricacies woven in. Phoenix's veteran improv groups frequently travel to other major cities to perform and have a key role in teaching and mentoring some of the up and coming local groups participating in the festival. What a great opportunity for all to share the stage with groups from outside AZ and interact offstage. fantastic learning opportunities that will only make the Phoenix improv community continue to grow better and stronger and deeper. I attended both the 7 PM and 9:30 PM shows on April 18, 2009 (for a total of six performances), and without a doubt (and of no surprise to me) I was most pleased with WeirDass. Most of you will know Stephnie Weir from MADtv. I was doubly pleased because I had not expected any, what I would call, "headliners." Though I think there is a huge opportunity to market the Festival to the masses that is being overlooked...all in all, I think the Festival has the potential to become great.

It's really unfortunate because we had high hopes for a fun, family-friendly evening. Sadly, it was not worth the cost or the time spent waiting in lines. I've been here recently now for 2 shows that I would call nontraditional, but man, they were great shows, and I had such a blast. The layout of the theater is great. I was on the 1st level for one show and on the 2nd level for the 2nd one. Despite being on the 2nd level, it still gave a personal feel and kept us engaged. If you don't like heights, make sure to arrive early to get in the lower level, as once you're on the upper level, it does go shallow & up. Getting cocktails from the bar downstairs typically has a long line, but if you go upstairs, there's usually another make-shift bar to help offset it. I didn't take advantage of any parking, as I used a ride service to the venue, as I just wanted to get dropped off at the door. It's hit or miss with parking, especially if there is something going on at the arena (basketball, concert, baseball game, etc...) Looking forward to the next event.

We walked to the venue, so I have no comment about parking. However, our show was supposed to start at 9:30pm, but the earlier showing was running a little late and so we were waiting outside for quite a while before we could choose our seats. We were invited to enter the lobby area of the building to order drinks, use the restroom, and buy some merch, so that helped to pass the time. Since I paid for Row A seating (the closest to the stage aside from the VIP section), I was invited to sit anywhere in those rows- so the rows themselves were reserved, but no specific seats, so you'll still have to call dibs on your preferred spot. As a 5 ft 8 in woman, the seating felt a little tight for my liking. Most people stood up for me to get passed them, aside from one lady, and when I walked past her I was worried my hips would smack her face. Other than that, I didn't have any problem watching the performance- nobody blocked my view and I think if I sat further away, I'd still have a decent view of the stage. We had a heckler in the crowd who kept yelling obscenities as the host of the show, fortunately by the second act he was removed from the event. There was a 15 minute intermission for the show, which was a good opportunity for more drinks or a bathroom break. I recommend using the restrooms on the second floor, as they are more hidden than the first floor. I'm glad I went to this event, and I would consider returning to the Herberger Theater Center when they have any other fun events in store.

This is the best way to see great family entertainment every third Tuesday of the month…read more Tonight was the 10th show so far, and what a ride!! So far we've seen dancing, arialists, contortionists, magicians, musicians, interpretative dancing, vaudeville acts, running gags, and circus performers. It's been incredible. And you should come, it's the best place to see local theatre and entertainment. We've met so many delightful people we call friends. I can't wait till next month.

Located right next to Urban Beans in Phoenix in a quaint little U-shaped set of storefronts. Have seen numerous events there and enjoyed every one. Great atmosphere, seating, and lighting. Pay online or at the door. Always something going on. Diverse acts and plenty of opportunities to support local acts and artists.
