How Satisfying Was The Service (1-10)? 7, We were happy with the end results of the repair done on our Toyota Prius (see the attached pictures). My reasons for rating them 7 is stated below Monroys's Customer Service; There's a huge need for improvement in this area. Honest and consistent communication is vital in conducting business with people, whether or not things are going per customers' wish and if building clientele is important. One of the issue for us was that most of the time they didn't answer their phone, you'd leave a message and no one calls back within reasonable amount of time. When someone answered or called back, there were times we felt the information given was doubtful and inconsistent. Upon the pick up of the car, they promised to send a quote for further maintenance needed that they recommend but up to date (2weeks later), we haven't heard from them. Duration of the Repairs: Done as promised or early? No. (Dropped it off July 21, 2021, estimated repair time was initially 1-2 weeks, then time built up and completion date was August 23, 2021). There were some unexpected delays due to what they stated as unavoidable circumstances (short of staff or parts not being delivered in on time by their vendor) of which we were understanding about but we do believe that they failed to fix our vehicle in the order it came in and/or within reasonable amount of time. Would I recommend them? Yes, I would recommend them despite their shortcomings. I appreciated their maintenance services and cost (affordable), they do work with you to find parts that within reasonable prices, keeping the total maintenance cost as low as possible. I would recommend this place to all of my family and friends. I got into a car accident in the beginning of November of 2020 when we were going to Reno. Someone rear ended me and my bumpers and stuff cracked. We called this place and I spoke with Alveen. Alveen reassured me that they will handle it and will keep me updated. First time I've had to deal with a collision center due to an accident and I most definitely had a great experience. My dad recommended this location and had me talk to Iber. Iber was extremely helpful by coming out to me to check out my car. He told me what would have to be done and gave me an accurate estimate on how long the service would take. The next day I took in my car and they dealt with the whole insurance process and even gave me updates. My car was all done before the time he gave me and I was really happy with the work -- just like new! Thanks to Iber and Sam for the help! I was a bit disappointed by a few things: 1) 3 delays to complete; I had to always call them to check in. After the last check in, I was told my car was ready only to be left sitting in their waiting area for over 30 minutes to finish up. 2) Although I wasn't billed for it, some areas were not fixed as discussed. Kind of a surprise. 3) The door area was not perfectly painted. Near the creases in the door, their is bubbling and paint issues. 4) the car interior was dirty when they gave it back. The front seat was covered in white powder. 5) of course they found "extra things" and billed my insurance $500 or so more than the estimate. 6) facility in rough shape. I couldn't even use their toilet. All and all, not satisfied with this place read more

Unbelievably superb service... I mean above and beyond what I expected! I had FIVE quotes ... Monroy's was almost the same as the rest, but they noticed things that nobody else pointed out ... Like the paint quality was higher than the other 4 quotes and they noted a small damage picked to my trunk that nobody else saw!? They took their time with me and made me feel very comfortable and I just had a good vibe from them! The car looks BRAND NEW and they stayed in close contact with me on status! My tires were stolen from my car on a Friday. They towed my car without picking up the keys that same day. They called me on Monday and told me I had to drive down from Elk Grove (were I live) to the shop in Madison to drop off the keys. The owner & Alveen gave me a really hard time on the phone. Alveen called me again on Thursday, told me I had to drive down to their shop again to sign a paper before they can put the new tires on. Knowing I live 30 to 45 minutes he demanded the paper to be signed before they can put the new tires on & the car still wouldn't be done that day. He was very rude when I came in to sign the paper. The owner called me the next day apologizing for his employees actions and told me it wasn't absolutely necessary for me to come all this way to sign the paper. He offered to put tire locks on my wheels for free the next morning(Saturday, a week later). I went to pick up my car, turns out he never pick up the tire locks for me said he'll mail it to my apartment. I even gave him a week to see if he would. Never did. I hope someone reads this & saves them the disrespect & time. You can't treat people like this. Worst service ever! read more

This shop will tell you the car is ready on a set date, when you go and want to see the car it hasnt even been touched. They keep on telling you oh it will be ready tomorrow, they will string you along to keep you paying the 45.00 a day "storage for the car". I would reccomend going to another shop. read more

On 02/14/2013 I took my 2009 Saturn Vue in to this bodyshop as it was recommended by my insurance company. I was told when I dropped my car off to them that they would have my car back to me by 02/21/2013. I called on 02/21/2013 when they had not called me and they told me they needed 24 more hours. I was understanding. I called on 02/22/2013 to check on my car. I was told it would be on 02/25/2013. on 02/25/2013 I called to check on when the car would be ready and was given another excuse, and told it would be ready on 02/27/2013. On 02/27/2013 again the car was not ready and I was told it would be ready on 03/04/2013. On 03/04/2013 I called again and was told the car was not ready, they said it would be ready on 03/05/2013. On 03/05/2013 I was told that the car was not ready, after speaking with the owner of the business about my very unhappy experience he offered me a $100.00 for my inconvenience. I declined his meager offer. I would avoid this shop for any auto body repairs. read more
