First off: I bought those Lifetime Alignment for both my trucks. I hear that when you bring in your car for that service they don't even do a proper alignment and just try to sell you other services. 1. I recently got new tires and worked on my truck's suspension so I made an appointment @8am. I show up early 7:45 pm and checked in gave them keys everything, my truck doesn't get driven until 8:30. 45mins of waiting... why even make appointments. 2. When I request appointment, I specifically only said truck alignment. When I arrived they tried to sell me a "multi point inspection" for $10 which I denied and said I already changed my brake pads and rotate my tires and not need it. After my alignment, the guy still shows me a list of things I need (spark plugs, air filter, fuel system cleaning) which I happen to replace myself not too long ago.... I'm like why? I told you I didn't need you to inspect other things just give me what I came in for. They are just "fishing" for service. 3. When I arrived I told them I got new tires and worked on my truck's suspension, steering wheel when dead center, truck drives to right. After I left still same thing, problem was not addressed. They spend 8:30am-9am not fixing what I came in for.. but checking to see if they can sell me other things. 0 stars if I can. read more

Today I went to Firestone to have my two tires aired up I walk into the store, no acknowledgment, nothing and the dude that was in there tall late 50s with gray hair, looked and talked to me like I was dumb. When I said I called to have my tires pumped up then some girl with a boy haircut and pink hair was airing my tires up and acting like I didn't know what I was talking about until I told her I used to work at a Firestone, then her mood lightened up overall I won't be coming back to this location. I took my car here for an oil change. 2,500 miles later my car started acting funny the shop I went to drained the oil and it was black so it was not changed and 2 quarts over. I have a very good working relationship with Shawn at the Marconi Firestone. This is not my "REGULAR" Firestone Auto Care Place. But it is a lot closer to my home. And all I needed was a flat repaired. I was welcomed in and greeted by an affable man by the name of James. He wrote up the ticket and got the job started. I heard him talking to someone on the phone about tire problems on a Tesla and I found that very interesting and asked a bunch of questions regarding that. He is very knowledgeable. I happened to be wearing a Corvette shirt. Apparently James is a big fan of Corvettes, He likes the C3 the best. I own a C7. So naturally, we started talking about Vettes. He knows A LOT about Corvettes. So anyway, he told me that he would be calling me when my tire was ready. And he did. I came back and my tire was repaired and ready to be put back on my car. It only cost $28 - which I felt was very reasonable. To fix the tire and re-install it on the car and put the spare back? Well worth it. And James represented Firestone in a most favorable way. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that I went in and had a $90 oil change and paid in store through my credit card and then wasn't notified that I had an outstanding balance so they charged me nearly $30 in interest on such a low balance that it doesn't make sense. I am very happy and pleased with everyone especially a man named Robert. It's a very good company to take your vehicle to be serviced because they treat you very well caring and devoted to their work to fix your vehicle and get it back on the road as soon as possible. I've been there a couple times and this last time they helped me by telling me what was wrong with my vehicle after my accident. I have a report diaphragm that they gave me to give to my attorney. No matter what I need if it is to air up my tires or check my windshield wipers or even call them for advice they have always been there for me. We bought a battery in May. In mid November, the car kept putting out. Took it back. They did say up front that it's $150.00 to diagnose it. The battery tested bad and there was lots of corrosion around the cables. They replaced the battery since it was under warranty but still charged me $185.00. Seems like if the battery was under warranty, I shouldn't be charged the $150.00 diagnosis fee. Ryan said to take it to the dealer next time. Not sure why I would do that when they replaced the battery. Guess they don't want my business. At this point, I don't care to give it to them!!! read more

I was having engine trouble and stopped by here. They were able to get the diagnostic done very quickly. They figured out it was my coils and spark plugs; two out of four of each needed to be replaced, but they recommended I change all four. They quoted me $1100 to do this!! You can buy a pack of coils from AutoZone for like $160, then the spark plugs for $6-$12 each. They wanted to charge me $154 PER coil, and $34 PER spark plug. They quoted $140 for labor, which is fine-it was only going to take an hour. I don't understand how we go from about $350 for this job to $1100!! That's crazy. Why does this seem like the common practice for car shops? Are there any honest people out there anymore? read more

I came here multiple times because my car was overheating, it started overheating in june and I came here multiple times and they had done a pressure test each time and told me they couldn't find out why it was overheating. It got to the point where it started overheating worse around 10 mins into driving and even if i was just parked with the car on, and I kept going back to them and being charged for other things just for it to still continue overheating. Fast forward to November, It got to the point where my heater hose broke and I spent 600 on repairs. I asked if it'll keep overheating now and they said no. Literally the same day it was overheating again and I went back the next day for them to keep the car for 4 hours and call me telling me it was a blown head gasket. They said they had to test drive the vehicle to catch it but the car was overheating even without driving it? Once I came back the next day they said there's nothing they can do about it. I feel like they took advantage of the fact that I was young to get as much money out of me as they could and was very upset about the situation because why do 3 pressure test to determine why it's overheating to still not know? read more

Had appointment at 8am and still settling here at 11:14. Everytime I go out not one person is seen working on my vehicle. I needed a ABS Module and front brakes and rotors and some minor miscellaneous stuff done. They couldn't find the Module not ok but understandable because of the age of the vehicle. BUT what was really stupid he said that my vehicle definitely will not be able to past SMOG but I had it SMOGGED the week before and it PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS. This store is not only unprofessional but their workmanship is horrible. Ive had issues with another Firestone but I though I would give them another shot at another store. I came to this store with the hopes that the work and service would be much better. Well needless to say no go. When I got there I was standing with no one in front of me for more that ten minutes or so. I was told it would be about 2 hours. I dropped off the car at 1030 am and called back around one and still not ready. I then was finally ask if I had been helped. I brought the car in because of a bolt in the rear tire in the middle that should have been easily fixed. But they said no they could only replace all four tires. Had to leave the car so that could be done. I spoke to Alex and he said that the tires would be in around nine the next morning. I got a call at around nine twenty five of so and they said the car was ready. So twenty five minutes to mount and balance the tire? I don't think so. I get on the freeway the next day and get the car up to between sixty and sixty five and the front end was bouncing and shaking so bad that the phone fell out of the holder on the dash. I pullover and call the store and speak to Alex and was told to take it to the Folsom store I was near. Speaking to them they say its gonna be there hours of more before they can even get the car in to look at it. Call Alex back and they said to drive the car back the nineteen miles in the poor condition it was in and they will get me right in. I walked in and talked in and talked to the manager and he said they will get it in as soon as possible. When they have the car for more than twenty four hours and can't gat the work right. This is by far no the place you want to bring your car to be done. Again if the road test was done they would have caught this and I would not have been in again. When the vehicle was given back to me the manager said that the alignment was out of balance on the radio and have your size. Drive your vehicle down the freeway and tesla OK yeah no shit but you don't have to let go of the steering wheel on Thursday. I don't have to come back but if you do that because the workmanship horrible! I bet the vehicle I am definitely not break your vehicle fear for your safety and your vehicles. read more

We were heading to Reno on July 4th weekend at 9am Sunday when the Volvo tire sensor warning went on. These things are sometimes serious so we wanted that addressed for a long drive. Very few places were open and some were not helpful. We were referred to Firestone by Peps Boys and thankfully Ryan was on duty! He checked out the issue even though it was unlikely we were going to get the work done there. I went to Firestone only because I have a credit card from them. I use to get my oil changed which the price is pretty pricey and filters. I would say they are one set up from jiffy lube. In the mist of doing an oil change they didn't put the cap back on there for the hood was smoking and didn't have no idea as the car is fairly new. When I pulled over and a family friend came to help he noticed the top cover wasn't put on it was on the back of the exhaust burning up. After the discovery I went back to the store and showed them and let them know I want a new one as my car is fairly new. The Asian manger tried to tell me it looked like a cat or rat shoved it off and I told him there's no way, than he said the clamps to attached is wear off. I said if it appeared to be wear off why didn't you tell me during the time of service like they do everything else for a replacement. He has no answer and said I can come pick up the new hood in a few days. I went and picked up and I put it on myself to ensure it was done correctly. Yes I might hold the credit card but it will be only done for tires as that seems like the only thing that can be done correctly. read more

I ordered tires and made my appointment, yesterday, 6/4 before noon via the app. My appointment was for 6/5 at 8 a.m. Today. I arrived early and was checked in. An hour later, I was told that the tires ordered early YESTERDAY, aren't here and it would be a half hour. Almost two hours of sitting here, I asked if the tires were here yet and she didn't know so she made a call and then told me my tires wouldn't be here for another hour and a half. I was already supposed to be on the road to get to a family function which I now will not be able to make because I'm being held hostage by the incompetence of Firestone. Everytime I've gone to this Firestone location, I've had nothing but fantastic service. However, today, I wish to complain about the so-called service manager, NATE DUPREE. He was/is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL and definitely NOT management material. I made an appointment for service two days ago (Thurs., 10/3/24) for an appointment today (10/5/24) at 9:00 am for my vehicle to have the $9.99 full vehicle inspection, and for a front-end alignment check. When I checked my car in with James, who was/is very professional, respectful, helpful, courteous, etc., he informed me that my car should be ready by 12:30 p.m. By 1:30 pm, I had not received a call, so I went back up to the location at 2:00 pm, and was informed by James and a technician named Alejandro that Nate refused to put my car in for service or to even turn my paperwork in to a tech for service. Not sure why. Nate's excuse to me was that they only had one technician there who could work on my car, and that that tech was busy working on other vehicles. Ok - - - So, why didn't that person work on my car.....??? Nate stated that they had other cars to do and that they had cars that were there for diagnostics. What's that got to do with me??? In any event, Nate was very disrespectful, did not care about my service, was back-talking me and refused to try to correct the situation. I have been going to Firestone since the mid-80's, and HAVE NEVER RECEIVED customer service like this. Nate needs some serious home-training, customer service training and a new heart. I cannot believe that Firestone would allow someone like him to even represent them at any location. He makes the name "Firestone" look bad. I just hope and pray that whatever Nate is going through, that he gets over it. He surely does not need to be working in customer service anywhere, let alone be a manager. . . . . I planned two Separate days and my children's school pick up and drop off schedule around these instructions. I went in the first time and was told an oil change and flat repair would take an hour and a half. It took more than three hours to get my car back. Today I was forced to go back because my "repaired" tire was losing pressure. I was told it would take three hours because they are short staffed, and there was nothing I could do because the car was not driveable and I would have to pay for repairs again. I waited for four hours only for them to return the car unrepaired and send me on my way. I will never use this company again, and I've been a customer for years. Edit to say that I left this location and went to a Big O Tire. They found a large hole in the tire from a failed patch from the first repair. Took my 2001 civic there and let them know the code I had on it p1361 ignition switch module to replace the light was not on when I took it but my wouldn't start anymore and it was cleared before it took it but I told them what I read on my scanner before they started. They called me back saying it's the starter and 700$ wow rip off already. Got the car same day and then same day the engine light came on and car went into Limp mode and just made it to the shop. Rude as ever bringing a so called Mechanic to look and tell me it's p1361 which I told them again they asked like it was a new code. Then the mechanic said it looks like someone has been messing with it when he looked under hood wow again I told him you guys just worked on it common man. They took another day and replace the fix which I told them it was in the first please check YouTube a lot of vids on this fix. Now the code came back on today and I called to ask I that normal running fine and they would have to charge again for a diagnostic. So unprofessional Nate and sales team ripping off customers hard honest money. Another customer that will never return we have spent over 5k with parts etc here and this is how we're treated also asked for there boss name and number and he said I can't give you that. Do not come here! Run away and don't look back! They used to be great but since the new manager Matt is HORRIBLE. I used to always bring my car here for oil changes but never ever again at this location. They stripped my oil pan completely and didn't tell us. Luckily we ended up going to the watt location and they informed us they completely stripped out oil pan and completely ruined it. I understand people make mistakes, but wouldn't it be better if you at least tell someone that you did so they at least know to fix it? Shouldn't have customers find out somewhere else that they have been driving around with a oil pan that was ruined. I don't know exactly what they are up to at this location, but I do know it's better to just go to watt and get it done right. Nothing worse than driving your car around and not even know they messed something up. In my opinion it's just very bad management. All of this could have been prevented if they at least informed me they messed up. They shouldn't have kept their mouths closed and let me hear it from the next location. I have to give watt props for keeping it real and helping me out. Watt location had to help me out. They actually fixed what this location had destroyed and made sure my car was taken care of. Ever since the old manager Michael left Firestone the service has gone completely downhill. The new manager Matt is very unprofessional he'll say one thing waste your time and do another. I brought my car here for an oil change in September and went to a different Firestone location since this location had no appointments available for oil changes. I went to the North Highlands location. While waiting I was told asked if I just got my car No! Then I was told by Lily at the North Highlands location the my oil pan was over torqued and destroyed and that they would have to put in a oversized plug in the meantime, but that the Madison location agreed to order a new oil pan. Fast forward, this is when Firestone on Madison claims to not know anything about this. I call BS cause I was right there when the North Highlands location called Madison to tell them about the situation and I was told Madison agreed to pay for it and I want North Highlands to do the work. Know Matt plays the I don't know anything crap! Tells me he need to assess the damage no! He had me under the impression that it was going to be replaced. Since the damage was already assessed. Since Matt played game North Highlands said they would replace the oil pan. This Madison location sucks bring your vehicle here at your own risk! Too bad Michael isn't manage at this location anymore I never has problem with things being fixed if they messed up. Now it's a whole other story. If this location gets a manager with integrity and takes ownership of they're mistakes I'd consider coming back but by the looks of the reviews since Matt became manager I think I'll pass. read more
