I had the opportunity to receive a baby grand piano and was challenged with 3 things: cost, earliest move date/time, and if the piano would still be available. I found Two Friends Movers with a quick search on Google via Thumbtack app at 11pm and a representative reached out the very next day at 8am with a rough quote. I called back and we ironed out the details within the hour. They were able to help me move the same day with less than 1 hour notice of the move! I was so impressed from end to end the support they provided. They helped move our vintage baby grand piano from a 3-story SF home (with over 40 steps) to Daly City (3 steps). They came prepared with packing materials, tools detach and reattach the legs and sheet stand etc - and rugs to cover my floors during drop off. Fair pricing because of the crew size required with a base rate plus additional charges for stairs and complexity of the stair space. The previous piano owners also complemented their professionalism. Rockstar crew!

They moved all my boxes, wrapped my furniture, loaded everything into the truck, and even packed some last-minute items for me--all in just one hour before we headed to the storage unit. They accept cash, but I paid by credit card over the phone with Richard, who was super nice and accommodating throughout the process. He's also the one who helped me with scheduling. I honestly wish I could give them more than five stars. They're the best moving company I've ever worked with, and I wish I could take them with me for every move. Their name says it all, truly!

How do I give 5 stars + 5 stars for 10 stars!?…read more Carlos and Edgar were AMAZING and so so SO helpful. They were initially hired by my in-laws via Angi for a move from the Bay Area to the Sacramento greater area. They were both very kind and informative, worked quickly and efficiently, and handled all furniture and items with care. The total move took about 8 or 9 hours, and included moving the furniture back in and reassembly as needed, adding felt feet to the bottoms to protect hard floors, etc. We were really impressed with the work they did for my in-laws, and so we decided to hire them as well for our own similar move to the Sacramento area. We had a lot less furniture, but a TON of boxes, so our move took about 10 hours. They Tetris stacked it in such a way that the truck was full, top to bottom, left to right, wall to wall. Everything was secured, nothing was lost or damaged -- amazing considering that, during this never ending California drought, it was RAINING on our moving day!! They kept our items dry, no water damage, and drove carefully on the roads to get everything up to Sacramento safely. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and careful mover!

In short, this is the best money we've ever spent. My partner found this company on Angi's List and…read morewe did some brief review searching, and I was stunned to see such a high rating on Yelp (since most people, myself included, typically don't leave a Yelp review unless there's something negative to say). We hired Bay Area Best Relocation Services for a full packing and moving job right at the new year. Carlos and his team were incredible: friendly, efficient, timely, and everything we could have hoped for. From the very beginning we were impressed by the genuine estimate that we got (we did a walk thru before the first day of packing, and Carlos was honest and said we'd likely need to do two full days since we had a bigger place and a lot of stuff like collectibles, kitchen appliances, etc.) They were scheduled to come between 8:30 and 9:30 on the first day, so from previous experience we expected them to be at the later end of that. On the contrary, they texted about 15 minutes before they arrived at 8:30 sharp, and promptly got to work. The two additional workers (Alonzo and Ernesto) introduced themselves and all three were super friendly and positive, and put us at ease (we were both super stressed and tired). Everything was packed and wrapped professionally and safely; they moved our house full of stuff over two days to our new place and even put "categories" of boxes in the new garage for us to make it way easier to unpack room by room. No broken glasses, no scratched walls or furniture, and each box they packed was labeled with the room and contents. (The fact that they provided their own boxes, tape, and packing materials was a HUGE help as well...we thought we'd bought enough boxes ourselves but we were way off.) I cannot recommend this service, or these people, enough: my partner and I were floored by the quality of service, the kind demeanor, and the speed and efficiency that Carlos, Alonzo, and Ernesto put into their work. I hope we don't have to move again for a long time, but when we do we are 100% calling them again. Huge thanks!
