The front fountain was on a slanted platform and so required some additional work to reorganize the stonework underneath to make it even while covering up the old fountain's water tube. We also had a bunch of broken and left-behind doors and other miscellany that the prior owners of our house left behind when they moved that we had Murillo haul away for us. After reaching out on Request-A-Quote, Murillo promptly came out and took a look at the project and we discussed how best to handle it. He gave me a very competitive quote and quick timeline to get the work done. His worker came out the following week, arrived right on time (even a little early) and got right to work, demolishing and hauling away the fountains and cleaning up the space after he finished. We had originally budgeted two days for the job but everything was completing in one day. Murillo came by our house later that evening to inspect the work that was done with me. There were a few very minor additional tasks (cleaning some additional concrete off and sealing off the tube where the fountain's water source had been) that I asked him to handle and after discussing, his worker came back the next day and took care of everything. I did not hire this person, as by the time they responded I already had a business lined up for our project. Instead of continuing to read through pages of responses from multiple businesses that Yelp sent my project to, I opted to use yelp's automated messaging to let businesses know we no longer needed help with the project, before closing it out all together. However, as I went to close out the project I noticed the heading of this response at the top: "did you not read my message...." In short, no Tony I did not, because I didn't need to. I understand now his original message states not to respond. I also agree it's absolutely ridiculous for him to be charged for work that he isn't doing. But that is hardly a potential client's fault who is simply utilizing features of an application. His lack of professionalism is enough of a reason to stay far away. It's perturbing that he would speak to someone in such a manner so freely, without any context as to why this may be happening. Strangers are not your emotional punching bag and I would highly suggest some anger management. Not a personality type to be doing work at someone's home
