    ZippGo moving boxes provided a wonderful service for our move. After seeing some neighbors using a…read morereusable box service, I decided to look into using something similar. ZippGo rents you a certain amount of boxes based on how many rooms/square feet you are moving, and they deliver the boxes to your address, you use them for a move, and they pick them up at the new address. It was easy to schedule and make sure the drop off and pickup worked at an appropriate time. The boxes themselves are sturdy plastic, and the top interlocks so you don't need any packing tape. The boxes fit on top of each other which makes them easy to stack and move. You can also pick box inserts that are designed for plates and glassware which made it so easy to move these items. I would recommend ZippGo in a heartbeat- it made our move faster, easier, and more eco friendly too!

The difference in packing efficiency was so noticeable compared to my last few moves using their system, that I reached out to ZippGo this morning with a last-minute request to switch over. Even though their driver was already on the road, Sarah was incredibly responsive and quickly worked out solutions to get me what I needed in record time. Sarah and her driver, Javier's, dedication to customer service was truly impressive. That said, I'd recommend planning ahead rather than making last-minute requests like I did! Note that their drivers don't work on Sundays and Mondays, so be sure to schedule your box deliveries in advance. ZippGo's reusable box system is a genuine time-saver that makes moving so much easier and more streamlined. 10/10 would recommend to anyone moving!

Booking: I sent an inquiry directly with the company due to their stellar reviews, and they were able to schedule me in for my preferred time/day. The overall process was really convenient, especially because of their flexible time window. Moving: the two movers, Herman and Aleksei, were incredibly efficient and very sweet/patient throughout the move. I appreciate that they handled both my expensive & economical items delicately. Also, I wasn't completely prepared on my end with the move such as knowing details like where to park for loading/unloading or even which items to move vs discard, which I had been dreading for weeks. However, thanks to their expertise and versatility, the move was stress-free. And a huge shoutout to Herman for his guidance and coordination that really ensured a seamless experience. He walked me through every step of the process, answered all of my questions, and even helped me find every available discount. From the very first phone call, I felt I was in great hands. When the moving team arrived, Sasha (Alex), Zhenya (Eugene), and Sergey (Serge), that's when the real magic happened. These three are like modern day Spartans: strong, precise, efficient and incredibly patient. They immediately earned my complete trust. I was moving from a two-bedroom apartment (Dublin, CA to Danville, CA) filled with fragile furniture, glass pieces, mirrors, artwork, and a massive 9 foot tall, extremely heavy mirror. I honestly didn't think it was possible to move everything without damage. The way they wrapped and protected every single item was beyond impressive. There was simply no chance anything could break. They completed the entire move, including carefully wrapping, loading, transporting, unloading, and placing everything exactly where I wanted it, in less than 8 hours. The anxiety and stress of moving disappeared the moment I saw how professional and organized they were. The service felt truly VIP, the pricing was very affordable, and the entire experience was completely hassle-free. If you're not booking this company, you're missing out.     First off, thank you all for an amazing experience and getting me moved a few months ago 2026!…read more THE BEST IN THE CITY LOOK NO MORE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY. Eddie was my private personal customer representative from being to end. I was even able to book Santiago come out to my unit and do an in-person video estimate. He was extremely professional, thanks Santiago! Eddie and Santiago were absolutely amazing! My 3 man crew was exceptional and professional! These guys are super good at their job! They are the hardest and most careful working crew I've ever seen in my life! I am a very considerate, professional and fair business woman. Based on the original estimate of 5 to 6 hours for the job I had pre-envelopes made for all three of the workers with $50 per hour as a tip so that was an additional $150. Now,I must be honest and I did text Eddie when I noticed another hidden charge on my bill for materials $90.00, I was told tape and wrapping was included! Plus, I had all my own boxes. But, Eddie never replied back to my surprise based on the quick response he would give me before booking them for the job! That made me feel like: "We are done with the job and got paid, so we don't need to answer any of your questions any more"! I also, wanted to tell Eddie that there were 2 long picture frames(holding 21-4x7 photos) cracked/damaged and they cost me $100.00. My original estimate was around 5 to 6 hours it took them 8 hours with a grand total of $1,837.76 I'm here right now that would add the $90 hidden fee of materials and subtract $100 of a down payment deposit. Plus, I gave all three workers $50 tips individually! So, that was an additional $150.00, with a grand total $1,987.97 so, basically $2K all day! I also provided a case of ice water bottles for the workers. Me and my son assisted/helped packing up things too! My son was my translator because one could not speak English and the other one spoke or understood very little English and the third one could speak English very well! So, thank God my son was there and he speaks Spanish it's his 2nd language. So, I really wasn't in a hurry to post this review! But hopefully, they will reach out to me once they read this and make things right! Plus, I was extreamly sick and busy after they moved me! I never really got around to leaving a review. Even with that small negative information that I have to include in this review I would call them in a heartbeat to move me again:-))))!     We had a very disappointing experience with this moving company and would not use them again…read more We were quoted $1,900 at the high end, and we intentionally overestimated our inventory and time to avoid surprises. Despite that, the final cost came out to nearly $3,000, and over $4,000 total with deposit and tip, which was completely unexpected and unreasonable. To add context, just weeks before the move I had broken my back in three places, and the company was aware of this. We were forced to move quickly because I could no longer safely go up and down stairs, and we were already losing our rental deposit due to the sudden move. They also knew we were working within limited financial means. On moving day, the truck they brought was too small, which created delays right away. The crew initially worked quickly and cleared the downstairs efficiently, but when we positively commented on how fast they were moving, the pace upstairs noticeably slowed down. From that point on, we were being charged overtime as the job dragged out. We were kind and accommodating throughout, we even provided food for the crew, but the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily prolonged. The most frustrating part: not everything was moved. Some of our belongings were left behind, and we ultimately lost them because we couldn't retrieve them from the landlord in time. When we reached out to the owner after seeing the final charges, we were told they did nothing wrong. Every concern we raised was brushed off, and there was no accountability or willingness to address what happened. Overall, what was supposed to be a $1,900 move turned into a $4,000+ stressful ordeal with poor planning, slow execution, missing items, and no follow-up support. Given the circumstances we were in, the lack of care and transparency was especially upsetting. We would not recommend this company.

    I booked Kerb for my cross-country move from CA to MA based on the favorable quote I received…read more This initial quote, however, turned out to be a bait as they ended up charging me extra $2,000. I was told that the movers would arrive between 9am and 11am. Instead, I was given several updates from the foreman, who repeatedly gave me revised arrival times that were simply not true. At one point, he blamed traffic on a specific highway -- yet a quick check of live traffic data showed that route was completely clear. The crew finally showed up at nearly 3pm -- four hours late -- completely blowing through the reservation window I had secured with my building for elevator and loading dock access. I attempted multiple times to reach customer support at the number advertised on their website. Not once did I get through. Their customer service line put me on hold and played music for a few minutes and disconnected. To add insult to injury, after the packing was done, I was handed an additional charge of over $2,000 on top of the original quote -- this, after hours of delay and disorganization entirely on their end. The job should have wrapped by 3pm. We didn't finish until well after 6pm, creating further complications for my move-out schedule. If that weren't enough, the vehicle transport I paid for was delayed by at least four days due to truck repairs -- information I only received after paying. I'm flying out of state before my car can even be picked up. When I received my household items, there were several damaged items. I expect to find more as I unpack my boxes.

    In October 2023, we hired Kerb to move most of our furniture and other items from the D.C. Region…read moreto Northern California. On the basis of that experience, we are giving Kerb a 1-star rating. On the day of the move, Kerb's D.C. Area crew damaged one pathway light and one copper post cap on our property. While in transit, more than 20 pieces of furniture were damaged, including an expensive, hand-constructed dining table. The cost to repair and refinish the dining table and one leaf will be $1,100. Three lamps and four lampshades, all of which Kerb's D.C. Area crew had packed, were damaged beyond repair. When we promptly submitted a detailed summary of the damage, the response from Kerb's Customer Care Department was not just inadequate, but unapologetically silent on its movers' lack of care in handling our belongings during transit. Additionally, none of the insurance options that Kerb had offered would have made us whole upon taking into account the cost of the insurance and the corresponding deductibles. Because Kerb failed to deliver our furniture intact, and because Kerb's D.C. Area crew did not instill any confidence whatsoever, we do not recommend this mover to anyone else who is planning a cross-country move. Nor do we intend to hire Kerb again to transport our remaining belongings to Northern California.
