First off by reading other reviews I knew ordering a jacket was going to take time. Going in knowing this I was under no pressure thinking I had to get it back right away. This business needs to be out of business! They service was horrible. Dropped off a letterman jacket in sept and was told 3 weeks., 6 weeks later no call. Called them and they were very rude. When u went to get the jacket and order embroidery they were very nasty because I questioned some of the lettering on the jacket. Despite this I ordered patch for back and they owner acted as if I was putting her out by again giving them more business. I was told 3 weeks. Again 6 weeks later I had to call. Finally after 3 months I have jacket. I spent nearly 400 and they were Rude and unprofessional. They don't deserve business. Double stitch in town does better work. I'm a professional MMA fighter and I've been to Monogram Magic a few times to get my shorts and walk out shirts printed. First off the older lady is nice but I think its her daughter that is rude and complains about everything I want printed and how much work it is, every time I've been in there. The thing is its a printing and embroidery business so if your going to complain about printing t shirts (especially to the customer getting them printed) you are probaly in the wrong business. I'm a fighter so I get paid to advertise on my shirts and shorts. I think they were having trouble understanding this becuase they always forgot to print at least one sponsor the 2 or 3 times I've been there. And no sponsor logo on my shirt and shorts means no money for me. I've probaly missed out on close to over $1,000 in sponsorships. And by the time I get my shorts and shirts there isn't enough time to get them fixed. I've called and asked them and left messages about how and why this happened but never recieved a phone call or even an apology. I try to keep my business local since I am a local fighter but I've learned my lesson with this place and I refuse to ever come back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I cannot believe how rude the woman was that answered the phone. First thing I said was, "I'm calling to see what your Christmas schedule looks like." She laughed at that comment, which I totally understand since it's close to Christmastime and people are wanting their gifts made in time. She asked, "What are you wanting to get done, honey?" I was in the middle of saying, "A backpack embroidered with five letters," when she cut me off by saying, "Not a chance in the world." I was surprised at the rudeness so I just said, "Okay. Thank you." And proceeded to hang up. As I was hanging up I heard her saying something but couldn't care less what she had to say at the point. No way will I ever give them my business. Called Stockton Sew/Vac & Quilting Center a few minutes later and it was like night and day. Super nice, accommodating and helpful. I'm not upset that MM couldn't do my project. I understand it's last minute. I was just so turned off by the lack of customer service. read more

Supposed to be a premier embroidery shop however, since the mother retired the customer service is in the way of we will be open when we want to be open. Meaning business hours are posted both on line and on the front door but, they change them when they want. Granted they own the shop but show some professionalism. They never seemed to keep their word on appointments or promises. Customer service forget about it, they are so stuck on themselves. Yes they do good work when you can catch them open and on time other than that find a place that is more business like than laid back. read more

Sooooooo frustrated!!! Ordered the lettermans jacket in June, it is now September. I have been told time after time the design on the back would be texted to me and nothing. I go down to see it and it is not there, off site having patches put on. You would think I would have known better after the first go round with my other son's jacket. That was the same situation. I have given this business a number of chances and now this was the last straw. They think that just because they are the only ones in town that they can treat you however they see fit and that you are not a priority. These were they 2 major incidences: When my daughter was in high school she was going to be featured in the newspaper for student body president. I asked them if they could complete her letterman jacket for this occasion. They said yes and it was never done in time, and she did not have it to wear in the photo. Recently I took in something to get done for Christmas. I never heard from them so I called the day before xmas eve and she had to look for my item and then she said "oh yes here it is, oh you did bring it in didn't you? well our machine broke and i thought I got all of them done before that, but no yours is still right here waiting. Well I'll let you know." It is now Dec. 29th, no phone call. This was going to be for a Christmas present and they had no remorse or there was no appology on the phone. Horrible customer service. Very limited business hours. What was supposed to take 5 days ended up dragging out for over 2 weeks. When I called to get a status, the girl had no idea what was going on & didn't even bother to help to find out. She just told me "oh well, call back later." REALLY!!! I asked her to please have someone please call me they never did. Finally, after 2 weeks of frustration and disgust, I cancelled the order. All it was was a baseball cap to be embroidered and they couldn't handle that. I went somewhere else and got what I needed in two days for cheaper & better in less time. I'm actually surprised since I've done business with these guys before and this was definitely a failure of a business transaction. I've heard this from others so this is NOT an isolated incident. Don't think I'll go back. Granted, it was only one item but every transaction is important, big or small & they should realize that. read more

Absolutely horrendous service. I sent in my Letterman's jacket in January and was promised to have it back in a month or two. Well it is now NOVEMBER, and they have yet to finish it. I was promised another proof over two MONTHS ago and it never came. I called and emailed countless times and they never responded back. It took me to having drive the almost hour trip over there to get any sort of communication, and the talk lasted 5 minutes. The main lady there is rude and makes it seem like their lack of customer service is all your fault. I don't think I've ever been treated so poorly at a business. I will definitely not be coming back, and I recommend that anyone else find somewhere better to go. read more

The worst customer service ever! I have been trying to obtain a quote since I dropped off the info into the shop. Have continually called and am promised a call back with the quote. Bad customer service I waited over three weeks for (one) jersey to have the last name and number put on,Every time I call they tell me next week or next day, after almost 30 day I stop by and they told me that they are getting to it but don't know when, (Just to let Monogram magic ) I took it to another place and it was done in 1 hr maybe I should tell you were so they can train you on good customer service and how to communicate with your customers! My daughter needed/wanted a lettermans sweater. Went to monogram magic. They had the item in stock and we had it less then 24 hours later. now that's service. The ladies at the shop are wonderful and go out of their way to make their customers happy. I wll use only them in the future!!!! read more

Completely ridiculous how they treat customers, waited more than a month for my very small order, they never answer the phone and when they do its to give you some excuse, when the finally called to say it was ready they tell me they close at 2 and I get there at 1:40 to find a dark and lock store, never again, maybe they are more interested in large orders, but they completely ignore the little guy read more

Terrible place. I do NOT recommend anyone to go here. Took months to get my jacket finished. No communication, terrible service, terrible hours. I called them multiple times and kept saying it would be done in a week. Not only did it take forever, they did it wrong! If I could give them zero stars I would. But you have to pick at least 1 star in order to post a comment. I brought in some shirts to get done at this dump. I brought them in over a week ago and was told they would be ready today. I even called this morning to make sure they would be ready for pick up and was told they would be so I headed out from out of town. I just got here and was told the shirts aren't ready and I had a rude old hag sitting in the front co-signing for the owner who lacks customer service skills and is basically a liar!!! All they can say is they are swamped. Well guess what that's not my problem. I'm a paid customer and I expect my stuff to be done as promised. Even if you are desperate please bypass this dump. I honestly don't understand how they are still in business. They are rude and miserable people who can easily take your money but not produce the product as promised. You should save your money and your gas and go somewhere else. read more
