I do think my water damage issue where the closet system needed to come off the wall is rare (although not rare in high rise condos) but I am glad it sounds like CbD in the future will do their best to address customer's requests. Not only were we disappointed with the quality of the materials used, but the removal of the existing brackets and shelving also caused significant damage to the walls of the closet. After the installation, we contacted our consultant for clarification. The consultant explained that we were presented with the most severe scenarios depicted in their book, but my husband and I had not been shown these images. If we had been presented with these options, we would have chosen a different approach. Unfortunately, no assistance was offered to resolve this issue, and we are required now to hire another professional to repair the damage to the three walls. We would not use Closets by Design, again. They are overpriced for the quality of materials. Their consultants are misleading in their attempts to make a sale. And when there are issues, they do not provide any resolution.

I have a new project where I recommended that my client take my drawing and have them design something similar for the laundry room as his new house has no cabinets there. They do a fabulous job here and you won't be disappointed. I use a custom cabinet company for custom millwork in the main living areas, etc.. but for closets and laundry rooms and even home offices I think they can do a great job! They did my master bedroom and den closets for me. I went with the darker wood because that's what I had throughout, but I recommend using white in closets as it doesn't show the dust as much.

The painful process was somehow made doable by Kat and her team (shout out to Emmerie!), with their firm but gentle persistence to get it all done. They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. He had no lights on his trailer so I didn't see him until he was about 50 feet away. I went under the trailer and hit the axle at around 45 mph suffering head trauma among other things. My life was forever changed. Assessing the damage still years later it was found I lost the ability to organize things around me and remember what I had. I tended to keep things out in the open so I could see it every day and take an account of what I had. Then I moved in with my entire household of stuff into my grandmother's home which was also full of stuff. To make matters worse I had become a bit of a shopaholic after my accident. I could never remember what I bought so I bought it 4 and 5 times over in many cases. I was tripping over boxes and furniture and my family or friends would no longer come inside to visit. My mom did some research and hired Randi Lyman of A Helping Hand. She couldn't have picked a better person to help me. Randi is very considerate and a positive force even in my life today. She is so supportive and in no way looks down on you regardless of your situation. She is so compassionate and incredibly professional. My house is now organized and de cluttered. She helped me make decisions where my thought processes had broken down. I can't thank her enough for what she did. I was also imbued with her thought processes for making decisions about buying and also organizing what I already have. So as new things come in, old things go out and the new stuff is organized. Where to even start!…read more We bought a house in Travisso several years ago and came across Brandy. As you can imagine, after buying a new house it's necessary to watch your expenses. Brandy was instrumental in really showcasing the house and also watching our for our pocketbook!! Over the next few years we would upgrade different sections of the house which culminated with a state of the art smart home theater! How much did we enjoy working with Brandy? We moved to AZ, where we employed her again.! Showing her pictures of the house, we could decide on the theme, colors, etc. We brought her out for a few days for some decorating after having the interior painted. We did the same thing... after the initial design we have been remodeling portions of the house making it more modern, carrying on a largely coastal vibe.
