Every person I've brought has raved about it. Well, let me tell you about my recent experience. It was a group of 6 of us on a Sunday, restaurant is empty. Dinner is now $28.99 + $2 for weekends + 15% service charge for groups of 6 or more. Total comes to $40.27 for one person. We ordered: Beef Ribs (lots) bunch of sushi and sashimi Salads etc Everything tasted great but they kept "forgetting" orders. Between the 6 of us, we ordered probably about 8 different rolls and we received 4. I asked about it, they said "what do you need?" I said "3 orders of the Fry Roll". They brought out 2. We did a second round of orders, more ribs, more sushi. They forgot about part of the order. So of course, we ordered more. To note, one of our friends didn't show up for an hour and a bit. Lots of traffic coming from downtown..so he showed up at 8pm. We're almost done. So I let the server know that we'll wait for him to come and then reorder. She said "last call, no more for your group and he can order when he comes". I have never had a limit, ever. I've at least come here 30+ times over the last 9 years. The restaurant is not busy, we are the only people there. The restaurant also closes at 10pm, so I know it's not last call for the kitchen. I know some places have time limits or round limits but in all the time I've come here, this has never been the case. It still isn't as there's nothing listed on their website or on their menus. From all of the recommendations I've given, I will likely not come back again. $40 is definitely on the higher end and the service is appalling as they keep forgetting the orders and then have the nerve to say "last call".

The mango pudding was so decadent and delicious. We got there around 5pm and it wasn't that busy but by the time we were leaving at 7:30pm, it was packed. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. My only complaint was they didn't pick up the dirty dishes in a timely manner. At one point we had at least 10 dishes that needed to be picked up.

This time when I got it, it was completely filled with tempura bits and hardly any salmon at all. It was such a huge disappointment to see and to taste, as of course, it no longer tasted the same as what I remembered it to be. Not sure when they changed their hand roll ingredients/ portions, as I come pretty frequent. But sadly, I don't think I'll be ordering their hand rolls again. Their other food options still look great though, so maybe I'll need to switch it up a bit to see what other good finds I can get here.

The cooked shrimp and octopus tentacle didn't taste like much and the octopus was way too tough and chewy. The rice was equally upsetting. I like the fact that they were quite liberal with the tobiko, but what's with the soya/teriyaki sauce on the rice??? I know this place is Korean owned, but if they are branding themselves to be a fusion Japanese restaurant, I can sort of understand the sauce. But, that's not what they are purporting themselves to be.
