The place is nothing special but for $25 per night for a back-in full hookup you can't complain and I understand that the bass fishing on the lake is phenomenal. The place is pretty large and there was hardly an RV there...possibly indicative of the miserably hot and humid weather we experienced in mid-July. Be sure you check in before 4pm...it's a rule there. We called around 3pm to let them know we'd be late (5pm) but we didn't get there until 5:30pm and they were kind enough to let us stay anyway.

It has a covered gazebo with a sectional sofa, dinning table and two more chairs to lounge on. They also have a large gas grill in excellent condition. It was so nice because we did not have to take anything out, which made departure day a lot smoother. At your request they will bring you margaritas after 5:00 PM. The resort sits in a lake which makes it convenient for those who have boats. We were going to stay two nights, but ended up staying three nights. They do have two restaurants and bar you can enjoy if you don't feel like cooking. Hours vary, but the packet you receive has all the information you need. It is gated which makes it feel safe. Will definitely be back.

And that bread was next level. We got like a half loaf of Parmesan garlic sourdough! Fresh baked! I absolutely loved my shrimp & grits too. So flavorful. Great portions. It's a bit pricier, especially for Grove, but quality makes it worth it. I will definitely be back to try more entrees. Delicious. And the RV park is beautiful too.

Earlier this year we had reservation at a campground in Grove OK. I called the campground because we had about 8-10 inches of rain over a period of a few weeks. My concern was we are 15,000 pounds and if it is to wet we were not going. Called and talked to the manager and she said they had no issue with the rain. Ok, so we left. Got To the location and checked in and went to our site. Pulled in and immediately started making ruts. Now remember we did call for the condition of the park. We stayed for the entire time and when we left it was still muddy so more ruts. My husband was livid because our rig was front to back mud. To current day, I made reservations at this same rv park and when we got there the manager ran out of the office to meet me. Ok, that is strange. She immediately started a confrontation about the ruts we left and she should have charged us. I told her we did our our due diligence and called the office. I told her then she should have called me about it instead of confronting me about it now. She hands me there rules and regulations and leaves. We set up our rv and wait till the next day to setup the chairs outside. The next morning, my spouse is putting out our chairs and rug and here comes the same manager. She started yelling at my husband about no rugs on the grass. Well we have not had rain since May so the grass is dead. I heard them arguing in the rv and came out. She told my husband to not yell at her, which I told her he was not yelling. That is when she told us to leave and she drove off. So we have been banned from our first RV Campground. We did leave and went another campground and will not go back or recommend that location. My husband and myself are not young pups and we know how to mind our Ps and Qs, but we feel like she went too far. We checked there rules and it did not say anything about rugs or chairs on grass. There was a rule about parking on the grass. The guy at the end of our road had parked his two trucks on the grass but she did not say anything to them. The problem we found is, each rv spot does not have any chat (rock) on the ground and they have not added any in the last 3 years. These established campgrounds need to keep the grounds and parking spots up. Not just let the grass take over and wonder why the parking is not correct. if you read there rules and they seem ambiguous, they are doing that on purpose. So they can say you are following the rules set forth by the Campground. Ask questions about dog pens and mats Or anything that cause you to scratch your head.

People come here to relax, enjoy themselves, and get away from negativity--not to be treated like an inconvenience or made to feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, the negativity seems to extend beyond the occasional bad interaction. The attitude, lack of communication, and unfriendly treatment from the front desk workers, to the people running on golf carts, and so called "volunteers" create an environment that is completely toxic. If you are going to operate a business that depends on tourists, campers, and visitors spending their hard-earned money on your property, you need to understand that those people deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Tourist are paying customers. They are contributing to your community by spending money at local stores, restaurants, and other places drawing revenue for the community you call home. They should not be treated like dirt simply because they are outsiders or visitors. And if the people working or volunteering here are unhappy with the lifestyle, the crowds, or the very nature of a property that attracts visitors, that frustration should not be taken out on the people who are paying to be here. You cannot build a tourism-based business and then resent the tourists. There is a certain irony in paying money to escape the negativity of everyday life, only to arrive somewhere that seems to create and reinforce that same negative energy. This place has been a solid choice for getting away from everyday life in the past, which makes the change in atmosphere even more disappointing. But if management wants people to continue choosing this property, I strongly suggest reconsidering the approach to customer service, communication, and how visitors are treated. People aren't asking for special treatment. We're asking for basic respect, courtesy, and a welcoming environment. That's not too much to expect from a business built around hospitality. Remember it the next morning, zap them a little bit longer but walk away and forget them until they are barely above room temperature. Serve them up and that's The same breakfast you'll get here. I certainly do not recommend this place and will not be spending any more money here.
