This is certainly not a resort, and is at least a quarter mile from White River, feeding Beaver Lake. Pretty Large RV PK, With Many Permanent Residents. No sign at entrance, and we passed it by winding around a neighborhood of houses that was between the RV Park and the true water's Edge. Verizon signal was good at 3 jiggers; and stronger than their wifi. We were about 100 yds from nice new looking bathhouse which had wifi antenna with good reception at bathhouse but weak at our camper. Supposedly there are repeaters to amplify the WiFi signal, but they were not operational. We got by streaming YouTube TV through our Verizon Hotspot on our phones. We had to buy an extra sewer hose to connect to sewer, as it was placed so far toward entrance of the site, rather than toward rear of site where electric and water were appropriately placed. Nice courteous staff. We were on a level, narrow concrete pad; ~half of sites were gravel; no picnic table.

They have pull through and back in sites with 30 and 50 amps sites with full hookups! The views from the platform and boat dock areas are not to be missed. The views from your jet ski and boats are definitely not to be missed! Beaver Lake is large, beautiful, and very clear while refreshing to have a swim! There is definitely plenty to do in the area! We stayed for a fall weekend in cabin 3, which was nice and clean. There were 2 king beds, one in the loft and one in a separate bedroom downstairs. There was an Eden air portable heater that did a fantastic job adding supplemental heat, and a box fan if needed. There was a nice fireplace with wood provided. There was also a heating and cooling unit in the main room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, coffee, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and some spices. The bathroom was a great size with a little shower and a nice big Jacuzzi tub, which we definitely took advantage of! It was well stocked with towels, washcloths, bar soap, and soap/shampoo in the shower. There was a fantastic deck out back with plenty of seating and a great view to the great outdoors. Each cabin had a picnic table and small grill outside. There was a nice large fire pit area with plenty of seating in the center of the shared space, and the pool looks like a delightful place to spend time in the summer. Soooo much potential! Just misses the mark (more on that later) - beautiful location, level lots,…read moretent camping, reasonable rates, lawn well maintained, quiet - really a wonderful setting. First, the camp ground is hard to find - but still the only camp ground for miles - so that is a factor, but not much of one - especially since the two closest camp grounds, were failed ventures (one closed down - the other resembled a scene out of the movie "Deliverance.") Because of our previous two attempts to find a camp ground - we called ahead to make sure they had pull thrus - we only planned on staying one night and didn't want to unhook our tow vehicle. The lady that answered was very pleasant - even warned us not to listen to our GPS for directions or we'd end up at a bridge with an 8 foot height restriction - she gave us alternative directions - which were spot on. There is no office on site and no camp store. Camp fees are posted and paying the fee is on the honor system (at least for overnighters only). The park had cabins that looked like a failed project - there were four - all in varying states of decay. Most campers looked to be long term - and apparently must use their rig showers! The showers showed little care. - the floors were covered with dead bugs, shower curtains moldy. Husband said one of the toilets in the men's restroom was marked "pee only," the other needed a good cleaning - and was unacceptably filthy. All-in-all - if you have an RV that has its own usable showers and toilets and are looking for a place to find peace and quiet - this camp ground might fit your needs.
