We were pleased with each cottage. It was so much nicer staying here than at a cookie cutter hotel. This would be a nice place to stay for a couple or a family. It was a reunion of sorts for our family and the facilities were perfect. There was ample space for cooking out or in. The kids had the freedom to run and play and there were plenty of options for the adults to visit. As we all know, everyone needs a little time to be alone on a family weekend and there was room for that as well. The lake was not usable when we were there, I don't know if that's changed. The geese were very comfortable around people but did not prevent us from enjoying the outdoor areas. If you don't want to be in town but wish to be close to town or if you like more space than a hotel room offers, this would be a good option. The cabins are decorated nicely but no one will be afraid to sit on a chair or use a table. Staying here made it easy to enjoy our weekend and our family.

Convenient location, cute and quaint, great breakfast, awesome staff!…read more I botched a reservation on AirBnB for another property (forgot to actually click through the last screen) and didn't realize it until the day we were supposed to arrive. We quickly tried to book on AirBnB and didn't find a place we liked. We ended up on Booking.com and found this little gem. The treehouses are very quaint. They are a nice cross between old school Victorian styling with modern amenities like deep tubs with jets, very comfortable beds, flat screen TVs and comfortable patio furniture. The unit we're in is small-ish, but a perfect size for us. Though the breakfast is up at the main lodge, it's a quick drive, or a longish uphill walk for those who like some exercise in the morning. The breakfast was very tasty. We walked into town in about 10-15 minutes. It's uphill a little bit, but it's a gradual grade. At night it was very quiet. We slept amazing. A special shout out to Pat who helped us get into the proper unit. The online booking was wrong, but she straightened us out immediately and got us into a unit more appropriate for us and our 2.5 year old (Unit #6). We did get to checkout one of the smaller units and though too small for our family, would be a great little retreat for a couple. It's pretty obvious these are the Treehouses when driving by, but it'd be nice if there was an easier to see sign out front. Especially when approaching from the north. Pat gave me great directions, so we found them pretty easily. The "second-chance-bridge" into the property wasn't open, but it was easy to turn around and take the bridge on Main St.

So quaint and a little more private if the whole bed and breakfast thing isn't your scene. Felt…read morelike a nature get away but right in the heart of Eureka Springs. 10/10 would recommend

She said yes and that I would have to go through AirBnB to get the refund. So I cancelled it as she already approved. AirBnB tells me she has denied the refund multiple times, she says AirBnB is declining it based on their refund policy. Here is the deal, I was OK with her not accepting my cancelation, I know it was non-refundable when I booked it because it was last minute. When they tell you they agree to the cancelation that is all they are talking about, not a refund. So they kept my money and I never step foot on the property. This is all within an hour. They did absolutely no work for us to stay there. ZERO refund. Sure wish I could post the screenshots of her saying she approved it and how she addressed the situation. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I would have used the house if I knew I was not getting any money back. She claims it was an unfortunate for everyone. They got the money and an unused house, I got fully charged for a house I have never seen in person.....how is that unfortunate for them?

This isn't me borrowing a friends house for the week; I PAID for the rental, I think you can take out the trash and gather the bath towels without charging me to do it. Frankly, cheap $50 hotels don't ask you to take out the trash when you leave, and a $200 night hotel comes in and cleans each day....I've rented vacation houses before, and I've never been told I'd be charged if I didn't do the list of tasks before I leave. The list is as follows: Gather all bathroom towels, turn a/c to 80 degrees, turn off all lights, clean up lake side and fire pit, take out trash. We won't even mention the fact there's no cell phone reception and NO INTERNET in this house that was $200 a night. Be warned, this rental company WILL charge you if, after paying a healthy sum of money for the rental, you don't do the list of chores they give you before you leave. I have a copy of the contract if anyone wants to see their policies, should they dispute my complaint. I won't be renting from them again.

Great place to stay in Eureka Springs. We'll stay here if/when we come back for sure…read more I really liked the ability to select a very specific room. We are happy to sacrifice space in exchange for specific amenities like a large jacuzzi and were very pleased with the Queen Suite that we ended up getting (with a nice view of the mountains/the Jesus statue). The room was comfortable and clean. If I had any complaints, the in-suite coffee was underwhelming and the TV was kind of oddly situated, but that's very much a minor issue. The rest of the hotel was interesting and fun to explore as well. If we'd had more time, we would have checked out the bar in the lobby. The hotel staff were outstanding. Andrew(?) and Co. made a point to learn our names and were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and on-point with the valet parking service. Just a really good experience and good vibes.

Now the hotel is using an area right outside this suite's glass door as a rentable party space, apparently, while simultaneously charging full room rent for this suite. Last night, there was a party with a live band (particularly terrible drummer BTW) right outside our door until after midnight. It was so loud in our room that we couldn't watch a movie, talk to each other, or sleep. We could only put in earplugs and wait for it to be over. I could still hear all the lyrics through the earplugs, that's how loud it was. I am seriously considering just driving home a day early, even though we have already paid for tonight's room, because last night was so miserable. The hotel has effectively made this room unusable, and we were certainly not informed when we booked at their full price rate that this VERY LOUD party would be happening basically IN OUR ROOM UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT. Just ridiculous. I would not book the New Orleans Hotel first-floor suite again and would not recommend it to anyone else. As far as what the hotel should do to improve this problem: do not rent this suite out on nights when you are having loud parties right outside its door, and refund my money for this unusable hotel room.
