I…read morelet the front desk guy know that I seen three roaches within the first 30 min being here. he told me that there was spray under the sink and that the cleaning people would spray in the morning . he told me that the roaches were wood roaches and came inside of her cold. sorry guy bit I live in southwest Louisiana and I don't have roaches come in my house because of the cold. these are not wood roaches. We ended up staying because I paid the 800 bucks . i would have gotten a refund anyway! no refund policy. During the time I'm am writing this I found two more baby roaches. SMDH !

There is definitely plenty to do in the area! We stayed for a fall weekend in cabin 3, which was nice and clean. There were 2 king beds, one in the loft and one in a separate bedroom downstairs. There was an Eden air portable heater that did a fantastic job adding supplemental heat, and a box fan if needed. There was a nice fireplace with wood provided. There was also a heating and cooling unit in the main room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, coffee, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and some spices. The bathroom was a great size with a little shower and a nice big Jacuzzi tub, which we definitely took advantage of! It was well stocked with towels, washcloths, bar soap, and soap/shampoo in the shower. There was a fantastic deck out back with plenty of seating and a great view to the great outdoors. Each cabin had a picnic table and small grill outside. There was a nice large fire pit area with plenty of seating in the center of the shared space, and the pool looks like a delightful place to spend time in the summer. We could not have asked for a better host! Sheryl was very welcoming and willing to help us figure out things to do in the area that fit our interests.

The space is just lovely - very zen, wonderful colors. I especially loved the back balcony with the day bed. I cozied up with a book and had a nice, relaxing time there! I'm really cold natured, so I was a little concerned that there was no central heat, but the heat sources worked wonderfully and I was happily toasty my entire stay. Belladonna is a great place to stay if you're wanting to be near downtown Eureka but don't want the noise of downtown Eureka.

Yearning for tub & atmosphere, my scope expanded & the dart landed upon Whitney Mountain Lodge in Garfield, AR!!! (Last population check was 502?!!!) At first all pics appearing were gowned & tux affairs with kissing & what not & I almost stopped scrolling... Appearing on the last right swipe was a scenic view worthy of a postcard seen in a cheesy gift shop after visiting truly breathtaking sites..(ie: Yellowstone Park) I kept staring & thought surely this is myth & quite artistically edited to draw more stray, thirsty brides with grooms in tow to the venue.., Coin flip is always the quintessential detail which determines shall I or shall I take a mediocre Eureka choice with shower only..., Heads was Whitney & well ya know the coin never lies so here we go!!! 45 minutes from Bentonville & absolutely gorgeous top down, convertible drive on a smooth, very unpopulated road was my first surge of dopamine & as the road rolled upwards amongst stunning dogwoods, greenery & hills; I knew that OZ awaited..... Called & met the owner upon arrival & must say, just truly, truly, joyous, passionate & excited to uncover his gem of genteel man!!!! He showed me the original room reserved & I shall not fib when I say, my heart sank as although, pleasant, it was not what I anticipated.., With a gleam & a twinkle in his eyes & rapid step of a 2 week old prancing gelding; he said, "What you really wanted was this..." Giddy & still prancing, he led me to the mysterious door and click & twist & I beheld my absolute definition of zen, tub, paradise.... Luxurious whirlpool tub to comfortably fit two, viewing a serene, cerulean blue lake with trees & an island & well view my pics!!! (Inadequate description!!!) This room has a spacious, personal balcony with seating to indulge in the crave worthy captivating view!!! (Saw blue birds, fireflies & critters rustling in the trees!!) The room is sooooo spacious, sparkly clean & bed is large with massive pillows & really melty comfortable!!! Bathroom is perfect for getting in color for a night out with a huge mirror & a shower for approximately 4ish ppl with a large bench for lounging, wine drinking. Book reading & what not.(jk, lighten up!) Bring heavy snacks & drinks for your trip as Eureka is 50 minutes away & Rogers, 25... Breakfast is served to your door at requested time even though mine was 11 am & includes many muffins, mini lemon cakes, juices, fruit, yogurt & coffee maker in room!!! I paused & did not want to reveal my secret haven as I want to stay here always at will but, my truism won over my innate selfishness.., Sigh.., I only pray this room is not booked on my next need for soaking, scenery, spoiling & self indulgence. I could write a poetry book in that vouched for tub overlooking MY fairytale scene... I shed a huge, salty crocodile tear just now in reviewing this magical memory snippet...

It by far, exceeded our expectations and was totally something straight from of a Hallmark movie. Brenda and Bill has totally thought about everything that would be comforting and soothing for relaxation and meditation get-away. The 3-course gourmet breakfast prepared by Bill was exceptional in every way and very delicious. Every aspect of our stay was carefully thought out, and the room was beautiful with standing tubs and the fireplaces was amazing. We enjoyed the wraparound porch and the beautiful scenery of nature that was encompassed with wildlife... it was something we really enjoyed each morning! The chirping birds as you woke up to the wondering deer and chipmunks!! Literally something out of a movie!!! Brenda and Bill were always sooo accommodating, available, genuine and caring. Loved the morning conversations for breakfast with all the other guest, we learn about their travels and the adventures to Eureka Springs. Coffee at 7 each morning awakened us with its amazing aroma. The chandeliers throughout this house was just captivating and beautiful and our fireplace in the Monet suite was a must have!! I swear we wore the softest robes that made you just feel like a warm and inviting hug each time we wore them! The bed and bedding was wonderful and we couldn't wait to snuggle in each night for a restful, quiet sleep!! Brenda is an amazing baker and prepared us yummy treats everyday!! The drapes were hung so beautiful and the black chandelier is gorgeous. My favorite part is the bathroom. It has pink floral wallpaper and it's so quaint. The whole room was filled with such detail and intention. Michael is such a wonderful cook. There were homemade scones and cinnamon rolls served with eggs, bacon or sausage and they also had little parfaits. I had to have everything because it smells so delicious! Totally worth it to stretch my waistline. Joana mentioned they plan to open a bed and breakfast in France! With the wonderful couple hosting, you know I'll be there! Learning about the history of the Victoria from Joana was surprising! I'll leave yall with a cliffhanger so you can go and check it out or go back and hear about it from Joana or Michael.

The B and B itself was welcoming, tastily decorated, cozy and comfortable. The pool and hot tub looked inviting although we didn't have time to try either. Killer breakfast in the morning with plenty of food. Fruit was the best and so fresh and delicious. Pastries were equally as fresh. The presentation and vibe of the dining area was nicely done. Breakfast order was cooked as requested and yummy. I am sorry we were able to spend more time, not only in the area, but at The Victoria. It takes a special couple to own and manage a B and B and Michael and Joana have it mastered to a fine art! You won't be disappointed to add this to your list of places to stay if you are in the vicinity.

The grill is also right next to the cabin. It's so cute and comfortable, we love it here. The owners are super friendly and so kind. This is typically and 14+ only property and she graciously allowed us to bring our kids (9 and 10), because it was the slower season. We got in late and she even offered to make my kids an extra bed! We loved this place!
