10/10 definitely recommend! If you're looking for a small place that your closest friends and loved ones can gather to spend the weekend (and celebrate your wedding), this is it! Beautiful views, gorgeous ceremony/reception spaces, spacious rooms for all of your guests. It was an easy decision, being so all-inclusive of our needs. We had a lovely time!!

I am absolutely blown away with the service, the view, the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast! I surprised my wife with a last minute getaway for one night and I am so glad we chose to come here!! The view is amazing! Waking up to a magical sunrise overlooking the lake was incredible! Come see for yourself!

    Gorgeous view!

The drapes were hung so beautiful and the black chandelier is gorgeous. My favorite part is the bathroom. It has pink floral wallpaper and it's so quaint. The whole room was filled with such detail and intention. Michael is such a wonderful cook. There were homemade scones and cinnamon rolls served with eggs, bacon or sausage and they also had little parfaits. I had to have everything because it smells so delicious! Totally worth it to stretch my waistline. Joana mentioned they plan to open a bed and breakfast in France! With the wonderful couple hosting, you know I'll be there! Learning about the history of the Victoria from Joana was surprising! I'll leave yall with a cliffhanger so you can go and check it out or go back and hear about it from Joana or Michael.

The B and B itself was welcoming, tastily decorated, cozy and comfortable. The pool and hot tub looked inviting although we didn't have time to try either. Killer breakfast in the morning with plenty of food. Fruit was the best and so fresh and delicious. Pastries were equally as fresh. The presentation and vibe of the dining area was nicely done. Breakfast order was cooked as requested and yummy. I am sorry we were able to spend more time, not only in the area, but at The Victoria. It takes a special couple to own and manage a B and B and Michael and Joana have it mastered to a fine art! You won't be disappointed to add this to your list of places to stay if you are in the vicinity.

Embassy Suites of Northwest Arkansas - Mini-fridge

"Get Lucky" - Daft Punk with Nile Rodgers…read more We spent the weekend at Embassy Suites in NW Arkansas, not for a Razorback game, but to see my musical hero/icon/legend Nile Rodgers and CHIC, along with Billy Idol. Nile Rodgers has been on my bucket list, so it did not matter that we had to travel from Hawaii all the way to Arkansas via Dallas, (a 5.5 hr drive each way) then fly back the next day after the concert. I chose this place because the hotel is right across the street from the Walmart Ampitheater (Walmart AMP) and walking distance. Keep reading toward the end for a BIG SURPRISE. SERVICE: Mariah was at the front desk checking us in, and she was from Hawaii! Very nice girl. We got texts daily asking how they were doing. Housekeeping came by really late, like after 3:30 PM after we got back to our room from sight-seeing so we turned down the service as we still had nice fluffy towels. THE ROOM: The 2-room corner suite was really nice and spacious and clean. It came with a bar, microwave, fridge, full sized mirror, two queen beds, a chaise lounge, TVs in both rooms - and a cracked window in the anteroom which was taped with green masking tape. The bedroom faced the interstate, which was noisy through the walls. I could hear the cars/trucks speeding by, but I was tired so it was more like white noise. The A/C was loud, but at least it worked. Didn't really hear any neighboring room noises. BED: a bit soft, but clean and comfy. Pillows didn't smell like BO, like most places I've been. PERKS: free hot breakfast every morning, different fruits. Fresh Omelet station. Lots of choices. Coffee was strong and good. Very good. Lots of seating, even in the bar area in the morning. One of the best free morning breakfasts in any hotel I've ever been in. PARKING: $10 a day extra for hotel guests. Lots of open spaces. Embassy managed to keep the concert parkers out on the day of the concert. BIG SURPRISE: I got to meet Nile Rodgers!!! He was trying to get breakfast when I interrupted him. His plate was still empty but he graciously agreed to take a photo with me. I also went back after 30 minutes and we casually waved at him and he called us over to his group. He threw his arm over my shoulder and gave me a hug, he held my hand in another photo. He was one of the nicest celebrities I've ever met - very humble and genuinely friendly. I was over the top dying inside!!! The man I came to see was staying at the Embassy Suites! It's no surprise that musical celebrities may be staying here, especially if they are playing at the Walmart AMP, as it's right across the street and convenient. So if you want to see your favorite musician at the AMP, book a room at the Embassy Suites and you may get lucky!! Return factor: YES. In the future. Maybe. Don't think Nile is going to play in AR again any time soon (he is usually in Europe).

Great place to stay with an awesome breakfast in the heart of the the shopping district and the…read morepromenade area as well as the amp, which is a Super concert venue.

Roadrunner Inn - One of the Cabins

27/100 - 2018 Yelp Review Challenge…read more This place was so serene. Being from Kentucky, we go to Gatlinburg for a quick get away. This little cabin reminded me so much of home. I loved everything from the views, down to the decor of the cabin. I got to watch deer graze on grass overlooking a gorgeous lake, while swinging on the balcony reading a book and drinking a glass of wine at 12pm. The birds are always chirping and the cicadas are calling, its just beautiful here. Bob is the owner, and he is probably one of the nicest people I've met. There are also three dogs on the property whom are all so sweet, kid friendly, and love attention. This place was clean, and to my surprise there were no bugs in the cabin! Lol that's just one thing I always assume to find when you're in a woods-y area like this. Theres always bound to be one lone spider hiding in the corner of your room/shower. Everything you needed to live was already in your cabin. Magazines, pots/pans, SPICES; and just like salt and pepper there was garlic salt and garlic powder, cinnamon, Cavenders (idk how to spell it), etc. That's a huge plus to me! There was also, coffee, and all sorts of teas, hot chocolate. This place was just all around, amazing! I would have loved to stay longer.

For the weekend of 7-17-15 to 7-19-15 our family rented two cabins and two rooms for our wedding…read more They were all fully stocked and complete with refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, and coffee pots. The cabins (not sure about rooms but I would be shocked if they didn't) had spices, condiments, coffee, oils, etc. we were provided with an iron and ironing board for last minute ironing. Everything was clean and perfect. The beds and even the pull outs were comfortable! The cleaning crew was also very helpful and friendly! That's the 'normal' stuff I look for in reviews. I wanted you to have that before I tell you the best parts. Upon arriving we met with Bob and discussed some last minute wedding stuff, I trusted a man that I had never met to take care of my wedding, flowers, and cake. Because we rarely get family time, we decided to keep our crew at the cabins and take care of our own meals, but we were welcome to use the bar/seating area in the back. Bob was very welcoming and down to earth. He is so genuine in his efforts that even if he HAD messed up it would have been excusable due to his wonderful demeanor. He didn't though, I wanted a wildflower bouquet and he delivered admirably! I was so impressed I have them hanging to dry at home currently. The cake he had delivered was small and adorable, perfect for us! The ceremony he performed was the perfect length and completely beautiful. I am using the entire ceremony word for word in the wedding album. It is beautiful and meaningful and perfect! I could honestly keep bragging because this place, it's owner and staff are worth it. If you are looking for a quiet out of the way place with breathtaking views for your small intimate wedding, a quiet place to kick back and relax for the weekend and mingle with others doing the same, or just a romantic getaway then this is where you want to be!
