I read all these reviews and have to disagree with the negative one! As a business owner myself I understand there can be a Karen from time to time and that is what I read in those negative reviews. Baron was going to close his shop for the night until we called about a mini tat and squeezed us in after a long day! Not only did he make time for us, he did an outstanding job. Quality and time were on point! Not only did he get my friend and I in he had about 7 other people walk in for piercings and did them also. Multi tasking at its best! Changed gloves between customers and used sterilized equipment and sanitized in between unknown friends. IF you are scared of covid why would you'd dare be in a tattoo shop lol STAY HOME-FOR GOOD‍ He's far from creepy and has a dope personality if you have a proper sense of humor! Hilarious, in fact! We loved the iPad and stenciling, because it was a whim and just made it efficient. Everyone is looking for something different in a tattoo artist and I would definitely go back to baron! This place was cool. Went for a nose piercing as a birthday present for my cousin. The place itself was complicated to find. So we went inside and the guy was very alert, I'm assuming he's either the manager or the owner maybe. He was cool at first, but when it came time to do the piercing I wanted to video tape to get my cousins reacting because it was her first piercing you know? But he said I couldn't video tape and I had to stay behind the line.... I was caught off guard because of the tone he used, his approach isn't friendly at all.. I was like um okay lol. So when he started the piercing he later on began to say "you want to video tape?" and i was like "sure.." so then he allowed it which was confusing on why he said it in the first place. This guy is very funny! His attitude forces you to loosen up and take a joke right before you get tatted or pierced. It's just what you need in a tattoo shop if you're a little nervous. He talks to everyone. The work he does is amazing. I've had three tatts and I referred my friend who has two tatts from him and we LOVE it! He is very serious about his work and what he does. He is skillful and precise And CLEAN and he knows what he's doing. if you want to laugh and get a great tatt or piercing go to him!!! he's not the type to just let you get something random or stupid but he's willing to work with whatever ideas you wanna bring. ive seen him do many piercings and they come out beautifully. I had been wanting to get a tattoo for a decent amount of time, and after researching, I found this shop. I checked out the website and I was pleased with the pictures that I saw. I went in for my consultation and I was very nervous, but Baron took his time and helped me come up with a design that I liked. He took his time and was very careful, ensuring that every aspect of the tattoo was to my liking. I got a quarter sleeve done and Baron continuously checked in and made sure I was fine, as he did it. After four hours we were done and my tattoo came out amazing. My family and friends love it, and are planning to visit the shop. I came in for a piercing that I conveniently scheduled the night before via text. Baron was so gentle and patient with me between needle pokes! During recovery time, I also checked out some of his tattoo artwork, which is gorgeous! (Definitely check the insta - @monkeyfacetattoo - so worth it!) Prices are extremely competitive, and the work is efficient and up to high standards. The shop itself is dope and has an awesome vibe - complete with some wicked artwork on the walls if you need something to distract your mind (like me! Ha!) Went In for snakebites, was able to get squeezed in before an appointment however they came out very misaligned, went back a few days later to get them redone however they came out misaligned again. I was given customer service contacts via yelp however when I arrived in person I was refused service unless I removed my review. My piercer Baron, who gave me an attitude even after being patient with all the mistakes made with my piercings looked at them and told me "they aren't too far off." if you're looking for a shop that does work thats "good enough" and doesn't care about the canvas' they work on i highly recommend this place, otherwise save your time and money. read more

I found MonkeyFace online and looked at Baron's work before I booked my appointment to get 2 star wars tattoos done and a touch up to an old one. The quote was affordable and the work was stellar. I ended up with 2 gorgeous watercolor looking tattoos and ended up getting 2 old ones touched up because Baron has a great eye and sense of color. I will definitely be going back to get more done when I'm ready. Be sure to make an appointment because the artists here because are in high demand and the studio was packed! I loved my visit with Devorah! She tatted my elbow! I thought it was going to hurt a lot more, but she has a really light hand We took one of her original designs & incorporated a Gemini symbol I've been wanting! It came out sooo cute! She is such a dope person too!! We talked the entire time! Most artists I've been to keep quiet which makes things a bit awkward, but that's certainly not the case here! Where do I start, me and my boyfriend were looking for a nice spot to getting matching tatts while visiting L.A. After visiting several other shops we came across this one. We were greeted immediately by the staff. The owner and operator Baron was awesome!!! He took his time to explain things to us and to help us achieve what we were looking for. I had a bad nose ring job somewhere else and opted for Baron to fix it. When I called to tell him my concerns, he was understanding and confident that he could fix it. He allowed me to walk in 15 minutes later and took care of my nose right away. He walked me through the problem and told me how he would and did fix it. He was also gentle as possible, knowing I was in pain. Great at customer service and other customers present also said how great he was. I'll be going back to get my tattoo touched up. read more

Made an appointment with Devorah for a memorial tattoo in remembrance of my grandmother. This tattoo artist is extremely gifted and talented. She drew it up and had me out the door in less than 45 min. It came out better than I could ever hope for. I will definitely get my next tattoo done by Devorah, and recommend her to everyone I know. Every time I come for either a tattoo or simply for a piercing I've had nothing but good service. I love the work and the environment. Makes you feel comfortable and Baron is a great funny guy to talk to.
