I know of Paul and Rabble Rouser tattoo because of my wife, and thank the gods for that! Paul is AMAZING. He will, not only do a great job with your tattoo, but is also insightful and creative and involves you and your input every step of the way. He will take an idea or design, add his own Paul magic, and make it into something that will be praised by many people. The shop in itself is very neat, everyone who works there is friendly. I also love the fact that Rabble Rouser let's you pick a charity of your choice out of 3 to make a donation to. They sell aftercare kits that are also vegan and better than your big chain pharmacies like CVS.

I've been getting tattoos here since they opened and have always been blown away by my designs from Alayna. She's seriously the best! I've gotten countless tattoos from her, and look forward to more. The shop is always clean, and everyone is friendly and kind. It's such a great experience. Highly recommend!

One of my all time favorite tattoo shops! The vibes/team here are always so kind and welcoming and they want to give you great artwork to leave with

I have not written a Yelp review in YEARS but I just had to share my wonderful experience getting my tattoo at this shop. I had very little time in LA as I was here on a work trip. I was able to easily book my appointment online and the process was very easy and clear. I browsed the available artist and chose Mason as my artist. When I got there they were all so kind and approachable. I felt at ease right away. Mason took great care in designing what I wanted and had great ideas that made it even better. The attention to detail and customer service was the best I'd ever received. I have to go to LA again in October and am already looking forward to getting another one at this shop again. Thank you Mason!

I was in LA for a long weekend for my birthday. My wife and I decided we get a tattoo. The shop was really clean and fairly priced. West did my tattoo. He was professional, a great conversationalist and I absolutely love my tattoo. I would definitely go back.

I dropped in today to get a tattoo to honor my mother who I lost a few years ago. I read all of the great reviews and I was not disappointed. It's a really cool location and when I met Luis, I knew he was the guy. Just a lovely person to talk with and really cared about the work he was doing. You could immediately tell he loved what he does and it shows in the work. Highly recommend Rabble Rouser and Luis!

Got my first tattoo ever at Rabble Rouser, and I'm already planning my second! Leslie was my tattoo artist and I had a great experience with her. I came in a week prior for a walk-in consult, showed a few photos of what I wanted, and she sketched up a design. I came back a week later (with moral support from my partner haha), and she was very patient as I anxiously made decisions about size and placement. I was very comfortable throughout the process, and she maintained a lighthearted attitude which helped me be at more ease. I love my tattoo and am so glad I finally went through with it! Leslie was friendly, patient, and made the process easy. Everyone I met at Rabble Rouser were also very welcoming and made me feel at ease. Thanks again for a great first tattoo experience!

So ... I haven't had a tattoo for 40 years. In the days that we got our little piece of flash everyone always asked us if we were biker chicks which is really funny to me considering how body art has evolved. I love Alayna's work so much but tried to get in touch with her several times and never had any luck. Before covid she was booked up for ever. I saw that they were having a Valentine's Day flash sale and wanted to test out the waters again before I went for something bigger and bolder. I read good things about Jim Parchen and booked a little flash heart paw with him right over my ankle bone. Lol. It was easy peasy and I plan to add to it in the near future, get my old one redone and maybe get something really big and bold. He was super nice, fun to chat with, didn't want to just make the flash totally plain. Things healed no problem. Will be back!

My man Luis is such an amazing artist been to him 3 times now and will continue to go to him!! Hoping to have my sleeve done by him in a few months little by little! But here are a few shots of what he has done!! If you are looking for amazing work and an artist that actually cares about his clients do not sleep on this shop!!! Will update review when I get my penguin done with my wife on the 3rd!!!

Great!!! Professional and clean. First time tattooing... I got two! Luis is amazing. So talented, sweet and has a great demeanor aka bedside manor. Kept reminding me to breathe. Am so happy!!

I went to go see Jim Parchen after booking an appointment over phone ( they do accept walk ins but it's a good idea to call ahead). I was looking to start my second sleeve, I have my back filled, chest shoulders and a half sleeve already. I've been to many tattoo shops from LA to Japan and New Zealand. This one is the best one I've been to. They have knowledgeable, friendly, badass staff, with excellent professionalism, cleanliness, and post tattoo care. Jim worked with me on my design and gave me professional advice on the aesthetics, flow of design and what will look best now, and 10 years from know. Jim knows his stuff.

If I wanted a small or medium tattooed how much would it cost me?

Would someone in your shop be comfortable doing a compass on top of my hand?

We would be happy to discuss your hand tattoo. Are you local and can come in and speak with an artist in person?

Can you lighten tattoos by adding white ink ? I have a beautiful roses done on my shoulder , elsewhere. But it's been 4 months and the shading is just extremely harsh & dark ...Is it possibly to add color / white to make it "pop" more?

It might be possible. However the effect may be temporary since all the ink will settle into the same skin layer. If you’re local to the shop, feel free to come in and we can check out what you have and any options to make pop.

I finally went ahead and booked a virtual consultation (being in San Diego). From the very beginning of the process, submitting the request to book, through the consultation itself, and coming in to get the tattoo, I had the most amazing experience. I felt comfortable that I was in the hands of the best team at this shop. Rob was super responsive with scheduling and questions. June created a beautiful design based on my references and feedback and added little touches that made it even better. When I showed up to my appointment, I was a little anxious, but it was such a cozy, beautiful studio and I felt welcomed and at ease by Rob and June. June took such great care to cover up the scars I wanted covered and make it look beautiful and flow well with the natural curves of my leg, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. After she finished her work, she brought out the professional camera to get the best pictures possible and promptly sent them to me the same night. You can tell she takes pride in her work (as she should!) I will absolutely be back for more tattoos in the future, and maybe add more to my leg sleeve. It was definitely worth the drive from San Diego to work with the right artist who made my vision come true!

I wanted a tiger paired with specific florals (forget-me-nots, honeysuckle, and narcissus paperwhites) all kept above the elbow. Angie brought my vision to life more beautifully than I could have imagined. The process at Baron Art was seamless. After submitting a consultation form, I heard back within 1-2 days and coordinated everything with Cat (Angie's assistant) via email. Cat was wonderful, detailed, and quick to reply. On the day of my appointment, I received digital aftercare instructions after I checked in. Before starting, Angie was incredibly patient. She adjusted the tiger's scale on her iPad to match my arm and printed several stencils to ensure the size and placement was just right. She then freehanded the florals, precisely incorporating the negative space I requested to keep the design from feeling too heavy. Angie is incredibly talented and has a light touch. Even the pain in the inner bicep area was manageable. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the 4 hour session, and the result was perfect. This piece means so much to me and is very close to my heart, as it's a memorial for my mom who passed away recently. The forget-me-nots were her favorite flowers, and the narcissus paperwhites and honeysuckle are our birth flowers. The tiger was the first stuffed animal that my parents bought for me when we first immigrated to the US. It was my "guardian" throughout my childhood. Angie, thank you very much for your kindness and for creating such a meaningful, beautiful piece. This was the first of two sessions, and I already love it so much--I can't wait to see how it turns out! Some notes: - Snacks: I brought along Gatorade and was sipping on it before and during my session. I ate some candy and had a protein bar during the breaks too. It helped so much to keep my blood sugar up. - Vibe: So relaxing! The studio was spacious, and they were playing a throwback playlist from like the 2010s lol. I was vibing out and didn't even use the earbuds I brought! Everyone was so friendly too! Throughout the session, I noticed a couple artists stopped by to admire Angie's work as she was doing the tiger :) - Parking: parking in this location wasn't actually too bad. There's a structure about a 5 min walk away from the studio down the street. Just turn right into the little street where the Arrow Lodge Brewing is at. Go in a little bit, and it's on the left hand side. If you reach S Santa Fe Ave, you've gone too far!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and immediately made to feel at ease. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming. The jewelry is beautifully displayed. I just wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped us because she made such an impression. She walked us through all the options at different price points in a way that felt completely neutral and respectful. There was no subtle steering toward something more expensive. It genuinely felt like whatever we chose was the right choice. Ivy, my piercer, was incredibly thorough and precise. I really want to stress how pleasant and painless this piercing was. I am talking pain level 0 out of 10. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP. She is extremely clean in her process and talked me through every step so I always knew what was happening.
