Came here to accompany my friend getting a tattoo! Such an eclectic spot! Met some of the artist and they were all down to earth. The only complaint is the parking so arrive early if you have an appointment. The tattoo artist my find had did an amazing job! She really listens so well to carry out the vision of the customers. I'm tempted to get some work done here for sure read more

Came here last week for my first tattoo ever and worked with Paul to get it done! I came in with an idea for original tattoo and he was able to take that and make something great! We were able to text ahead of time and he showed me designs he created that I was able to refine and give notes on. He graciously accepted all of the notes I had and worked with me to create the tattoo of my dreams. Knowing it was my first tattoo ever he also set expectations of what the experience would be like for me for before, during and after the tattoo. He was extremely thorough and detailed with me in every type of way. I love how the tattoo came out and would 100% come back here for any further tattoos and highly recommend everyone else to come here for any tattoo needs hey have! read more

I LOVE this place! My friend and I came in for walk in tattoos and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were able to get us in same day which was amazing! Mason was our tattoo artist and he was incredible! He took so much time and care in making sure the tattoos we wanted were exactly right and then the experience itself was so fun! Mason was so kind and patient and a great conversationalist. He made us feel right at home! He's also extremely talented. The best looking tattoo I've ever gotten for sure. Finally bit the bullet and got another tattoo after a decade since my last one! Leslie was my tattoo artist, and she did a fantastic job. She was very patient as I went through several design changes and placements during our session (sorry!). Overall, couldn't be happier: lines are even and clean, and the tattoo has healed up nicely after a month. Rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming, and I would recommend Rabble Rouser Tattoo to anyone who's interested in getting a tattoo, whether it's their first or their 100th one! read more

I've now gotten two tattoos here, a cover-up by Kenny and a quarter sleeve by Alayna. Both did incredibly beautiful custom work and were thoughtful and responsive when I requested tweaks to get the designs just how I wanted. They were also incredibly cool and fun to chat with while they worked--important consideration when you're spending 6+ hours one-on-one with someone! Will definitely be back for my next tattoo(s)--I'm hooked! read more

This shop is very clean and professional. Staff are quite friendly! Great for a first time tattoo. Their online website is very nice, you can browse through each artist's work and see which style best fits your aspirations. You can schedule a free virtual consultation and book an appointment if you decide to move forward. Prices are pretty reasonable! I got a tattoo on my forearm that took around an hour, and it was $180. Kenny Takar was my tattoo artist, he's great! Definitely pays a lot of attention to detail and goes for perfection, which I appreciate. Definitely check this place out! read more

I apologize for the long review but it is so worth it! Let me just say if i could give them 10 stars i would! I have gotten a tattoo before at a not so good shop in my home town, so getting a second on i really did my research. After looking around at the shops around my house in LA ( i like to keep my spending locally) i came across Rabble Rouser. Now to give you context of my situation, i messaged the shop on New Years Eve and was not expecting a response since it was a holiday but i was inquiring about the next day (New Years Day) just to see what could happen so i can get some fresh ink for the new year. After messaging the shop i got almost in immediate response saying that they will for sure look into in bc they normally are not open that day but wanted to check and see if anyone would be at the shop. Pleasantly surprised i was ecstatic by just the possibility of it happening. About and hour or so (after mid night) i got another message saying that there will be someone there and what time would i like, i chose a time and we where all set. I really appreciated the responsiveness of the inquiry and that it was such a great experience for the get go. We arrived at the shop, being the first ones there as we where early, and as we check the door Paul (the shop owner) comes up to great us and opens the shop. He was so kind, knew my name and offered us water or anything we needed. We told him to take his time as we were in no rush, and agter about 20 min already had my tattoo printed and sized (after a brief convo about placement) he got the size and style right off the bat and he re drew it, which was great. He prepped his station and showed me all the needles he was going to use which where all in sterilized medical packaging. As we start tattooing he constantly checked in with me to make sure i was ok and had great conversations. After we where all done he bandage me up (even let me pick my bandage color) and we went over care of the tattoo and he sent me home with a "after care" package. Also my tattoo is everything i wanted and more! Overall this experience was AMAZING and the attention to detail went above expectations and was by far the best experience i have ever had. I will forever be coming to this shop for any future work and i HIGHLY recommend this shop and Paul was just the best! read more

The shop was really nice, unique and had a great vibe. I was a walk in and the tattoo artist, Kenny, was able to take the pic I had and create the perfect rendition to use. ZERO...Impossible to communicate with either the shop or the artist Leslie Young. Leslie takes my deposit but refuses to answer any emails with questions in a timely manner. After taking my deposit, refuses to communicate about ANYTHING...COMPLETE RADIO SILENCE! Absolutely ZERO communication. Whether you are a good artist, mediocre artist or the best of the best artist, you need to be able to communicate with your cash paying customer on some level. How can we entrust you to work on us when you have absolutely no desire to talk to us. I know the artist does not want make friends BUT you took the money, so then it becomes YOUR JOB to answer any concerns the client has before the session. I am talking basic questions. If you are gonna take the money, then develop some basic professional social skills for your client if you want to run a business. Worst encounter with an artist yet... read more

This review has been a long time coming, I just wanted to wait till my tattoos were fully healed before I wrote it~ I had been researching tattoo parlors in my area because I really was itching for a new tattoo. I had designed my axolotl tattoo and wanted someone who was clean with their lines, and good with color. I found Rabble Rouser through Yelp, and liked the photos I saw. I also went on the Rabble Rouser website to go through all the artists portfolios and liked what I saw even more! In mid October I was ready to get my tattoo done, so I had just walked in to see if there was any availability and I was lucky enough to have Luis House tattoo me that day. The studio was VERY clean, and I loved the decor inside. Luis was very easy to talk to, and very professional. I told him the basic colors I wanted, but I told him other than that he was free to do whatever with the background and shading. It turned out perfect! I love the water and little bubble details he had added to my design! The colors are so vivid, and the line art is perfect! Once my axolotl tattoo healed up, I was wanting to get another done once I heard about the Halloween flash event that they were having. When I went I saw a really cute skeleton bat design that was done by Alayna Magnan. I asked if the tattoo could be done in purple and green inks, and she said yes. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out! The colors are so vibrant and the line art is so clean. I can't thank Luis and Alayna enough. I get complimented on my tattoos all the time! I will definitely be coming back here for more tattoos in the future! read more

So i've been getting tattoos from Alayna Magnan since March of '11. The quality of her work is impeccable. It's up there with the best work of any great artist you're gonna find. But that's just a part of the whole experience. She's so much fun and amazing as a person that the sessions just fly by. As soon as i'm done i cannot wait for our next appointment! And as a professional artist, there's no comparison. She actually listens to my ideas and suggestions and incorporates them even if it's last minute shit. But her take on the art is so incredible that i almost always defer to whatever direction or recommendation she makes because it's usually a perfect suggestion. As for the shop itself, it's clean and up to any standards. There are no bullshit panels with stupid stock tattoos all over the place. It's truly a custom shop by any definition. Ok, hats off to Louis and The whole team here! I have to say after visiting several shops and because I wasn't getting my ink done in Rome while on vacation and then walk around and Fly 11hours so I decided to wait until I got home and find a place. RRT had some good reviews and what I did was go around and check some places out and as with most places I went with my 1st. Impression and gut feeling, after all I am a great judge of character and no one else was going to make this decision for me! I walked into Rabble Rouser Tattoo and asked the general questions and then showed my image and I was asked to hold on one moment and let the receptionist (who was pleasant, smiling and super nice)to go get an artist for me. Not a minute later Luis came up introduced himself , handshake and took a look a the piece and was confident he could definitely do it and had me send it to him via email. The piece was ready to go and made into a larger format that I wanted and the placement was dead on first shot!! ( not an easy task but it' was spot on! Within 10 minutes he was set up in his station and ready to go, having had tattoos before he said still offered to go over everything and what to expect but I was ready and off we went! Now let me say this, the shoppe itself is very relaxing, cool, clean and modern but this place is not brand new, however, it is not worn and torn for being in business for the time it has been. They take care of their stuff and the place is impeccably well taken care of! Luis was personable and talked here and there while going at his craft with great skill and I was pretty amazed because tattoo etiquette usually is that the artist doesn't converse while working, which is understandable but this was different. The whole time he was asking how I was doing, took his time, I didn't feel like he was rushing through, the music was jumping and it was all in all a great experience. Once Luis got done, he went over the aftercare and cleaned it up and had me take a look in the mirror and I did everything not to jump up and act like a ape in heat it was frickin awesome! I did go crazy on my social media pages and the reactions from friends and family was the Same! Another great thing about these guys is for every $100 you spend you get these chips and at the front of the shop are 4 jars for 4 different charities and you put a chip in any of the jars and they make a donation to that charity, which is pretty kick ass, they're giving back and paying forward and making art! I can't wait to get back and get some other ink done with Luis pretty soon too. I wanted to take a moment to recommend Rabble Rouser Tattoo. I found them on the net when looking for "walk-in tattoos". I wanted to have a tattoo covered and hoped that they would be able to help. Met with West, what a pleasure, he helped me with my idea and ended up giving me a new tattoo and revamping the one I wanted covered too! I've since had a few more tattoos with West and cannot recommend him more highly. West has a very light touch and great line work. If you're looking for a first tattoo or someone that is experienced, fast, and has a very light touch I cannot recommend West at Rabble Rouser Tattoo more highly. Staff at RRT is also amazing! The other tattoo artists and staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. I love this place and it's my new "go-to" for tattoos in LA. read more

My tattoo artist, the young spunky Kenny made my first time experience a truly unforgettable one. Upon arrival I was a bit unsure of exactly how I wanted my tattoo to turn out, whether to get it colored or have it done in classical black(which i ended up doing). I was super nervous but Kenny was very patient with me and allowed me to make up my mind. I booked the latest appointment-- which was at 10:30 at night. Kenny had the energy and charisma to encourage me to get the tat--which was in honor of a grandparent. I am so happy with the result and think about it all the time; both the tattoo and the experience. Kenny is a kind kid, great conversationalist and and a talented and experienced tattoo artist. We happened upon Rabble Rouser while having dinner in the area and were immediately impressed by the interior of the shop itself. This is an incredibly well cared for space that feels both totally sterile and yet still warm and inviting. After looking through several books we landed on artist Alayna Magnan (not finding out until much later that she owns the shop and is somewhat of an ink celeb). Alayna's art is so crisp and clean, it was an immediate match. I needed to cover/upgrade an old tat on my hip, and add to one on my shoulder. Alayna took her time in listening to my needs, sketching things out, being sensitive to accuracy and my finickiness about the specifics. Because Alayna is so ridiculously dope at what she does - appointments are booked months out. We put down a deposit and scheduled for a few months out. (PS: "we" is me and my husband, he's scheduled for his in a couple of weeks) When I arrived for my appointment Alayna took time and diligence to sit and make every single detail perfect. She made me feel very comfortable to adjust tiny details and make it exactly how I wanted it, (So many ink artists push you towards what they want...) while still giving her expert advice so the tattoo would look as good as possible. The task was to do two small-ish tats in one sitting. One on my hip and the other on my shoulder. Alayna was careful, precise, and yet executed with expediency. Both tats were done in under 2 hours. After we were finished Alayna walked me through aftercare very thoroughly and I felt confident I would be able to do what was asked (her aftercare is next level future shit) More importantly than all of these logistic details that went so well, is that the ink itself looks so good it makes me laugh out loud. These are the two most beautiful, artistic, realistic pieces of art I could imagine for my body. I am over the moon with what she did and how it looks. I cannot wait to come up with another reason to get a tat from Alayna or from Rabble Rouser in general. This shop is legit, the artists are on point, and the experience is top-notch. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Rabble Rouser and Luis!! Today is the day after my 18th birthday and I decided I wanted a butterfly tattoo ASAP. I called Rabble Rouser to check if they took walk-ins and the man on the phone was super helpful in helping me figure out what time to come in and what to expect. Once I was there, I met my wonderful artist, Luis. Luis had me describe and show him examples of what I wanted. He then went to the back of the shop and returned 20 minutes later with a drawing that was exactly what I had envisioned. Luis then sanitized and set up his station. Everything in the shop was sanitary and I never felt worried of infection or cross contamination. Before I finally got on the table, I asked Luis a million questions about pain, placement, and safety. He answered all of them very patiently and made sure I was comfortable and sure with everything before he started. The tattooing experience itself was seamless. The pain was minimal and Luis was ready to let me take a break if I ever needed to. In the end, the ink took about 30 minutes and was absolutely perfect. It was honestly even better on my skin than in my head!! Luis then went over aftercare and answered a few more questions before sending me on my way. I could not be happier with my experience!!! I paid $150, if anyone is curious about pricing, and it was worth every penny. I attached two pictures of my tattoo as well as two examples I gave Luis. I'm literally awestruck at how perfect he got it!! read more

Rabble Rouser Tattoo is literally a mom and pop shop, opened and operated by a husband and wife tattooing team. We put all the paint on the walls together, hung all the shelves together, and work side by side tattooing together every day! We have hand selected our team of resident artists and guest artists who we see as part of our family. Each artist works in all styles of tattooing, but excels in their specialty style. Our artists are all professionally licensed with many years of experience each, including convention and guest artist travels, magazine press, and award winning tattoos. Our shop co-owner was recently named one of the top 10 tattoo artists in Los Angeles by and one of the top 8 female tattoo artists in Los Angeles, you may also recognize her from Season 3 of Oxygen's "Best Ink" tattoo competition TV series.

Can you lighten tattoos by adding white ink ? I have a beautiful roses done on my shoulder , elsewhere. But it's been 4 months and the shading is just extremely harsh & dark ...Is it possibly to add color / white to make it "pop" more?

My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

IMO, there are two types of tattoo artists in the business: those who are happy to etch into your skin whatever you want them to, and those who operate their business with a sense of style, integrity, and professionalism. Adam Parrot, operating out of Rabble Rouser, is the latter. Although I had some minor tattoos that were a decade old, it had been a very long time for me since I was last inked. I came into see him when I was looking for someone who could help me create the sleeves I have always dreamed of having--my research told me that he was the guy to see. He did not disappoint. Within 15 minutes of first consulting with Adam, I knew that I could trust him to be 100% honest with me and that he truly cared about achieving the right outcome for me. If he didn't think a particular idea I had would translate into a good-looking and sustainable tattoo, he flat out told me so. But, because Adam is ALSO all about making the customer happy, he was right there to offer alternatives which were viable/sustainable, and that he would feel comfortable attaching his name to. He never once compromised his integrity--but he has, time and time again, gone out of his way to accommodate my wishes. It is impossible to undervalue the need for trust in any tattoo artist/client relationship. Getting inked is permanent and unless you know a real artist is at the helm, you (1) will never be happy with the result long term (trust me on that!) and (2) will never be able to rest easy during the process. You will always be second-guessing what the artist is doing and feeling apprehensive about what is going on. I have never had that feeling with Adam. In dealing with Adam over the past few months (sleeves take time!), I have seen how artistic, creative, and passionate he is about his work. He simply will not etch something into my body unless he is sure it will look good on me. Period. His sense of pride in his design and execution is well-merited and richly deserved. Adam has never inked me without making 100% sure I was on board with his design/concept/vision, and he checks in with me throughout the process to make sure I am with him every step of the way. And I always am. Now, that my long-desired sleeves are closer to completion, I can tell you this. Adam is an artist. I interrupt him while he is doing his job often to tell him so. He designs his tattoos both on and off your body until he is satisfied that he can execute something that will properly showcase his considerable skills and make you both happy AND look good. Sometimes, an artist will suggest something which may not SEEM like what you had in mind when you went in, but then the stencil goes on you and you say, "wow, you're right. That does look amazing. Do it!" Adam is one of those artisans. He looks you over, looks at your body, discusses your overall expectations and then skillfully creates something which is beyond your wildest dreams. Basically, I am Adam's tattoo bitch. If he thinks it will work, I am on board because he is usually always right on the money. I trust him implicitly and am so glad that all the research I did beforehand turned me on to him. Call him. Drop by for a consult. Walk away with the understanding that you, and what you want to do, your goals, are unique and important, and special and achievable and he is the man to get you there. I have never gone out with a short sleeve shirt on where someone has not complimented me on my Adam ink. Never. How fantastic is THAT? My tats are just that beautifully executed. Came here for a simple and pretty bird tattoo and I wanted an artist really good with color. After checking portfolios this place had a solid team of color experts! So I called and the girl that talked to me was friendly but bummer no one was available to take me as a walk in. But I got to set up an appointment with Paul for the next day (hey, its gonna be on me forever, so a little wait wont kill me!). Anyway, Paul was fantastic! He totally listened to my ideas and gave his honest professional opinion and redrew what I came in with to make it custom for me with a personal touch. He was also really light handed (as far as tattoos go!) and my bird came out great! By far my favorite tattoo!!! Also, He took his time setting up (I am a bit OCD so I really watched him set up and everything was new and clean, and organized). The time went really quick thanks to the cool retro music videos playing and all the gorgeous artwork on the walls to stare at. I started getting tattooed by Adam Parrot in March of 2014, after several friends showed me impressive work that he had done on them. For the first piece I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted, as well as some 'inspirational' images. I was so pleased with his initial design that I didn't ask him to make any revisions; a first for me when getting tattooed. He worked at a pace that we both felt comfortable with, and had a light hand - which I very much appreciated, as the tattoo is a decent size and has a lot of shading and layering of color. I was shocked at the quality, detail, and extremely vibrant color of the finished piece on my forearm - it is so well done and perfectly suited to my personal style. A year and a half later and it still makes me happy every time I see it. He is currently working on another large piece for me on my thigh, and it's hard to decide which tattoo I like more because they're both so well done. I now carry his business cards with me, because more often than not strangers stop me to ask who did my work. Where do I begin? It was an amazing experience for both my husband and I! Walking into any tattoo parlor can be intimidating but upon opening the door you feel right at home. The decor is fitting, it was CLEAN and they had the most amazing playlist going. I had called earlier in the week and was directed by Rick to send an email giving details and they would contact me with an artist or if I had someone in mind to check their availability. Within 24 hours I had a call and an appointment.... Adam met us up front and went over our tattoo ideas, he made suggestions to get the most bang for our buck and advised us on tattoo snafu's to avoid. We made a few changes and he met each request, even one I made a the literal last second, I thought he would be annoyed but he wasn't. It made me feel so comfortable to ask for what I wanted. His station was clean and simple and he opened the needles in front of us to show they were clean and safe. His work was quick and precise and he is just a nice guy who is clearly talented. I discovered Alayna through a Google search and it was the best search result ever. I went to her in 2018 for a consult and she has created beautiful works of art on my arms, my legs, my shoulders, and, most recently, my hands. She is so intuitive. I started out over-thinking my tattoo ideas, but all I have to do is provide Alayna with an overall idea and a couple of reference phots and she creates beauty better than I could ever imagine. Eric is the best! I started my tattoo at another shop with Eric, but finished it up at Rabble Rouser. This shop has a great atmosphere and all the artists get along with each other really well! Eric is a super rad guy and has a great aesthetic. He took the ideas of what I wanted (and didn't want) and created a beautiful piece of art. He is very personable and easy to talk with, which makes the time go by really quickly. However, if you want to just put in headphones and jam in your own zone, he's cool with that too. I highly recommend Eric as your artist, and definitely this shop! read more

Rabble Rouser is a great shop, very clean and totally together. I just walked in, and I was immediately greeted and made to feel comfortable. Luis was my artist, and he's a total pro. I have a bunch of tattoos, and this was a simple design, but Luis did exactly what I wanted, and I'm 100% happy. I absolutely love Alayna Magnan!!! I was desperate to cover up 20+ year old tattoos that had been bothering me for years due to the poor quality. Not only did Alayna cover them up, but she did such an incredible job that she made me truly appreciate the art of tattooing. I loved the cover ups so much that I just recently had Alayna add a large peacock on my back. The atmosphere in the shop is wonderful. It's calming and very classy. Alayna Magnum is the best tattoo artist you could possibly go to. As someone who was very nervous for my first tattoo, she consulted with me prior and was transparent about everything involved. In addition, upon giving her an extremely complicated design, she adjusted it and inked it flawlessly. He offered his opinion in relation to what I also wanted and overall it turned out amazing for my first tat. He said that he'll order it in my size. I told him, If not I'll take the extra large whatever it doesn't matter. But what he did. It was take over $100 from me and never gave me my jacket and when I went to go ask for my jacket, they acted like they didn't even know who I was and that's not including the tip that I gave him because I gave him a pretty nice tip. I even have a bank statement I can pull up!

Abi and every member of the crew that I met had a stellar attitude and were beyond professional. While I was there I sprung two more small tattoos on Abi at short notice and she took them on with no problem and for a fair price! My friend and I enjoyed awesome conversation and traded interesting stories during the entire process. On a side note, you MUST hear some of the amazing stories they can share. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming with really good music playing the entire 5-6 hours I was there! Abi was one of the most gentle artists I have ever experienced with some times me not even being sure if she was tattooing or not. I have epilepsy which causes me to sometimes twitch, but that was no problem for her! I am so thrilled with the tattoos I received from her and I plan to visit all the way from Michigan again for even more tattoos! I was actually referred to THS by multiple people so I looked into them and found Endry. His work really impressed me and my boyfriend who was also a tattoo artist back in the day. So I booked an appt to have a very simple roman numeral tattoo done under my collarbone. The booking process was actually very easy and the shop worked with me. There's a $200 minimum and there's a $100 deposit that you Venmo before the appointment is made. I honestly found the booking process super smooth and easy. If you can find it, there's metered parking right in front of the shop which is super convenient. I honestly love the vibe of this place. Endry was so kind and welcoming and made my first tattoo the best experience it could've been (also want to note I have a needle phobia so this is a legit compliment). I have since seen Endry multiple times for more extensive work. Endry is truly an incredible artist who really puts care and consideration into each piece. You can tell he really cares about his craft and I have so much respect for that. Working with him has been a pleasure and I look forward to my next session with him. I actually recently got my forearm done with a beautiful fine line floral wrap and I am still in awe at the photorealistic detail in the flowers. I found my artist and my place and I would 100% recommend going here whether it's your first or you're looking to continue on in your tattoo journey.

Showed him a few AI examples and he had me send him one that he/we thought looked cool. I didn't really put a ton of thought into it just figured "sure. Do your thing with it." I probably should've noticed the AI flaw in the stencil, but, as my regular artist pointed out, he definitely should have noticed, especially since he had the original photo. A little miscommunication but oh well. On top of that it's really really light so I'm going to have to have my normal artist fix it and touch it up. I wasn't even going to leave a review because it's partly my fault, and I don't really care that much, but like my normal artist pointed out, he's supposed to notice these kind of things. Then I realized the only reason I don't really care is because it's somewhere not normally visible. If it was on my arm I would be horrified. Other than that, they were cool, the booking process was easy, and reasonably priced. Also the shop was super clean which is important to me so 3-stars
