The mechanic that answered some questions for me was very nice. Everyone was polite. Finance and sales always answered my questions even after the sale, including when I decided to cancel the extended warranty. They provided Car Facts on the cars. The not so good, but not unexpected either: Long wait times. Some possibly tall tales, like "we just can't find the keys to that car" and "the car you wanted was JUST sold." Overall: Pretty okay place. If you're not auto savvy bring someone who is, read the fine print, and don't be in a hurry.

I told him what I wanted in a car and that I was hoping for a cheaper car payment and he looked at me and said "that's not realistic" I understood but wanted to see the car as I was ok staying around what I was already paying. I had to much I still owed on my previous car to get a cheaper car and stay within my budget. So what did Javon do? Show me a 2025 Chevrolet Trax with over 30k miles on it that was not within my budget. When I said no I couldn't afford it they told me I could cancel one of my coverages to lower the cost. I said I wasn't sure and asked if I could think about it. Javon looked at me and said "what is it going to take to get your business today" I told him I needed a lower payment and he brought in Tito to talk to me and try and convince me to get this car. I was there for about 3.5 hours at this point and just wanted to leave but felt pressured to leave with something so I said yes. I regretted agreeing to it before even signing the paperwork but I did anyways. I left that dealership with a fake smile and a sense of dread and I sobbed wishing I never went in that day. I left the dealership at 3 and called the same day at around 5-6pm told the receptionist I did not like the car and would like to come back and get my old car back. She said that should be fine but Javon was already gone and I would have to come back when he was in to get my car back. I went up on Wednesday at around 6:45 (I bought the car Monday) I stood for around 20 min till Javon pointed me to his office again and a manager named Tony came in and asked what was going on. I told him I didn't not like the car and would like my car back. He said it wasn't possible, they don't have a return policy and they have a whole sales guy who comes and gets the car almost day of and my car was already gone. He had no idea why a receptionist would tell me I could come back and get my car and that she might not have even been on site and has no idea why she would tell me this wouldn't be a issue. She knew Javon's schedule and she knew exactly who I was when I called on Wednesday morning. I asked if he could call the wholesaler and let them know about the situation. Tony said he would call me the next day after hearing from him. He shook my hand repeated his name and the time he would call then asked me "what's my name" which I felt was condescending (especially since he called me by the wrong name when I first walking in). He called me the next morning to let me know my car was gone and its already been sold and that I was stuck with the Trax or I could come back and trade it in. I let him know I was hoping for a car payment that was around 350 or less (I was paying 358 a month before) and he said "that's not mathematically possible and there was only so much they could roll over." Now I am stuck with a car I never wanted that they knew was out of my budget and now I may have to get a second job just to pay off the extra $4,000 dollars of negative equity they gave me since the Trax they sold me for $22,000 is only worth about $18,000 if I'm lucky. They are predatory and pushy and act like they are doing you a favor while actively setting you up for failure

Honestly, I don't usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. I've been to a few dealerships…read moreover the years, and this was by far one of the best experiences I've had. You can tell right away that they've built a solid reputation -- everyone was welcoming, professional, and actually seemed to care. Mike (the owner) and Kenny (on the sales team) were both awesome to work with. No pushy sales tactics, no rushing -- just genuine, helpful people who really took the time to make sure I was comfortable and informed. The whole process felt easy and straightforward, which is saying a lot when it comes to buying a car. It's just one of those places where you feel like you're in good hands. I'd definitely come back and recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership they can actually trust.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the team at Max Dye for such an enjoyable car buying experience!…read moreChad was so responsive to all of my email questions about the car I found on cars.com. He was able to offer us a deal that made it entirely worth driving the 2 hours from St. Charles to Salem to meet the team and see the car in person. We walked away with a car at a price that we felt confident was fair. And the car is PERFECT! Max, Mike, Dan, and Kenny, thank you for everything. I've never seen such teamwork at a dealership before and was thrilled to have THE Max Dye help with our tags! WOW! And Mike, you went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Cleaning out our kiddos' disgusting car seats so that they were nice and fresh for our new car was AMAZING! So grateful and IMPRESSED by the service at Max Dye. We will be back!

HAPPY #ServiceStarShoutOut DAY, Y'ALL!…read more Listen, I have really bad luck with tires. I am always running over a nail or something else that requires a patch or sometimes (unfortunately), a whole new tire. It's a curse. We really love a local spot that's close to our house, but found ourselves in a real pickle the Friday before the Fourth of July weekend. We had a tire losing air, and they couldn't get us in until Monday because they were so busy. That's when I gave Henry's a call. Charles was so nice on the phone, and didn't even flinch when I asked if they could look at it and make a potential repair by the end of the day. I went and dropped it off right away, and they were so great with communication; without a few hours, they had found the culprit, patched it, and gave me a call to come pick it up. The whole thing cost $25 - I guess that's pretty standard for a patch, but it's definitely the least amount of money I've ever spent on a car repair. We will absolutely be using Henry's in the future and I'm so grateful for their professionalism and how quick they got us take care of!

Phil finishes helping first guy and then immediately asks second guy how he can help him. I let him finish helping second guy and when he asks me how he can help me I'm in complete disbelief. I asked him why he helped him before me and his response was "because he used to be the owner". I then tell him that I'm not sure if I want to give them my business and he says "fine you can leave, I don't have to help you". We exchanged a few more words and I left but that level of blatant racism was completely distasteful and I'll never return there. Hope this helps someone else that's thinking about giving this establishment their hard earned money.
