I've heard most times this recalibration is not needed, but if it turns out it IS needed, you'd have to take it somewhere else at a cost of $250-$700, or as much as $1,000 at a dealership! No thank you! Especially after the already expensive windshield! My tech was Kyle and, boy, was he sharp! When he arrived he told me it would take around an hour, I believe he finished the windshield installation, recalibration and cleanup in around 30 minutes - no small feat for my big Honda Odyssey on his own - and returned from the test drive in under 10 minutes. It was easy to pay with any type of credit card, even AmEx, and all told I think it was about 40 minutes. The owner, Steve, was a pleasure to talk to, as was Kyle, A couple of easygoing guys. I definitely made the right choice! And, if ever I have the need again, I will probably only be putting out a call for one quote ... from MasterTech.

So that same night, I used Yelp's project feature to see if I could find anyone with sooner availability. Glas Tek was the first business to contact me, and I heard from them quite literally less than 10 minutes after submitting the request. I can't say enough great things about their responsiveness and friendly, straightforward communication. The whole process start to end was smooth and stress-free. That same night, we scheduled a time for someone to come and fix the crack the very next day. Dennis ended up coming to my work on Thursday morning, and I received a text from him letting me know that my windshield was all fixed and that I could call him to provide my payment. I had another small crack on my windshield that had already been there for almost a year, and he was able to fix that one too. I was very impressed that he was able to repair it! My windshield looks perfect. Also, the price to fix both cracks cost almost HALF the price of the place I have visited in the past.
