When we searched tire repair in the area we were four miles away from Aljets and decided to stop and see if they could help us. The staff was exceedingly friendly, informative, and quick. They immediately took our truck back and within 45 minutes had found a very small hole in the tire, patched it, and had us back on the road. On top of that they did not overcharge us or charge a fee for getting us in so quickly. We couldn't be more grateful knowing we're safe to continue our drive, and still going to get to our destination in time for our appointments. Thank you for making a stressful situation so easy Aljets!

Luckily, Brett and Scott from Hamel Sales happened to be there towing another car and offered to help. They quickly determined that it was my starter that would need to be replaced. I was lucky in that my family was able to pick me up and I could stay in STL for the night. Hamel Sales called me early the next day to inform me of what they needed to do, cost, and timing. They were very communicative and nice. No one loves to spend $$$ on getting their car repaired but it eased the blow to do it here. They were really kind and helpful. I highly recommend them if you're in a pinch near Hamel!

My fault for trusting them and not calling the dealer first. I was told if the engine light comes back on, that means the turbo is out and I need to take it to the dealer. Engine light came back on 2 days later, I called the dealer, made an appointment. On the 3rd day, the car started leaking oil. I called Lou and asked him specifically, did he do anything to the car that would have caused an oil leak. He said NO. I told him I had an appointment at the dealership and would have them look into. Very next day realize that nearly ALL THE OIL had drained from the engine. Not just drained but exploded like a volcano under the hood. First thought, blown head gasket. Dealer has the car for a day....conclusion - the part I paid for wasn't installed properly, bolts were not tightened on top of the engine and the Cam Shaft cover had to be replaced AGAIN! ! I went to the shop with my diagnostic from the dealer and was greeted with the most disrespectful attitude I've ever encountered. So likewise I displayed the same disrespect to Lou. Unbelievable! Just admit you made a mistake that nearly caused the engine to blow and refund my money. But instead I was told he wasn't listening to it and have a nice day. A basic fuck you, get out of my shop. Gladly! Never going back.NEVER referring anyone again. For $65 an hour, know what the fuck you are doing
