We stopped for fuel and snacks in Vandalia, when we noticed the wheel bearing on the left side had gone out. It was a nightmare since it's Sunday and really hard to find a mechanic anywhere. Plus we needed both tires replaced since it was worn to the nylon on the bad side passed the tread. Lindsey called Elliot's and we were told to bring it in and have a mechanic look at it. Long story short, Dale Craig was a life saver! After a quick scolding for driving there with the trailer in that condition, he methodically replaced the wheel bearing, swapped out the two tires, and boom we're back on the road. Dale is a skilled mechanic. Someone give him a raise! If you're driving through, and your trailer needs work then I highly recommend Dale over at Elliot truck & tire repair!

Although I ultimately did not purchase my Hummer from this dealership, I wanted to leave a review…read morebecause of the excellent experience I had working with David Clark. David was professional, responsive, transparent, and followed through on every commitment he made. He worked hard to earn my business, provided one of the most competitive Hummer EV lease offers I received, and was always quick to answer questions and provide updated information. In the end, my daughter strongly preferred a black Hummer that I found elsewhere, so I chose a different vehicle. The decision was based on the vehicle configuration, not the dealership experience. I truly appreciated David's professionalism throughout the process. Even though they did not get the sale, they earned my respect. I would not hesitate to work with David and this dealership again, and I would recommend contacting him if you are shopping for a GMC or Hummer EV. Thank you again for all the effort and professionalism. It was greatly appreciated.
