We filled the tire and found Mission Accomplished as the nearest service--we made it there, barely, and they got us in immediately. They found a screwdriver in our tire and told us it wasn't salvageable; they then filled and put on our spare for us. They didn't charge for the service and were very kind to us. If we are ever in need of service on the road again, we will definitely try to make it there!

It is not easy to located or at least from the direction Google maps showed me; however, I had just finished working at McDonald's and they assisted me as the manager , Laura had done business with them in the past. She said they were very good yet a bit expensive. I was hoping for the best but also thought the worse I headed over to how she told me where they were really located. I arrived and they were somewhere busy. I walked in and Steve was right there to help me. I descriptor the situation. He logged everything into the computer and I told him the keys were in the vehicle. Within a matter of minutes they had in the shop. Less then five minutes he came out to me and gave me the news. Steve even spoke to my husband and told him over the phone what the situation was with the vehicle. Even though they could not fix it they were nice, friendly, and informative. Steve did not charge me anything for looking at or telling me what was wrong with my vehicle or anything negative. I made it home safely and it is now parked till my husband decides what he is going to do. The next day, I worked at McDonald's again (which it is not my normal store). Steve came through the drive and was happy to see me and said I see you made it home and back here safely. I smiled and said Yes, yet now I am driving my husband's vehicle, giggle. I do recommend this business!

Second opinions and corrected repairs after being scammed by Jerry's Tire Sales. Jerry's Tire Sales and Auto Repair was a reputable business under the ownership of Brian & Keith Lee. Brian was a very honest and professional mechanic. I bought a new 2015 Kia Soul from Frederico Kia and had continuous maintenance service through Frederico Kia in Wood River from purchase in 2015 through 2021. Frederico tried to push me to purchase a new car instead of getting the new brakes needed in 2021. Brakes went out when driving 8/2021. Couldn't get service appointment at Jerry's. Towed car to Dobbs Tire Auto, Hwy 157. Brakes replaced. Maintenanced continuously from 2021 to 2023 at this Dobbs establishment. Dobbs not a very reputable establishment. 2015 Kia was taken to Jerry's Tire & Auto in March 2023 under the management of Chris Gerstenecker. Multiple issues and problems continued with each "non-estimated" repair April 2023 through August 2, 2024. Problems continued and discovered repairs by Jerry's Tire and Auto were repairs not necessary but expensive, wrong repairs, induction "faked" and more discrepancies not admitted by Jerry's and discovered by second opinions through June 13, 2025. Second opinion establishments would not repair or remove damaged/mysterious zip ties, or incorrect engine parts. Requested Jerry's admit their wrongdoing with the BBB complaint September 9, 2024 and confronted on June 11, 2025. Chris continued to deny unethical actions. The cost of proper repairs and scammed repairs totalled over $17,000 cash and credit. Learned to always get a second opinion/third opinion before work gets done. Plaza Tire and Auto repair did reputable repairs that have lasted to-date, October 20, 2025. The car has been in excellent condition since Plaza Tire and Auto Repair have exclusively done repairs/maintenance on the 2015 Kia Soul. Car doesn't shake, lose power, have to be towed. Longest period of time not feeling PTSD in the Kia and now on regular preventive maintainence schedule through Carfax.

The staff is knowledgable and takes their time to show many options and ensured I got the look I wanted and the price was right. We stopped at the nearest gas station possible and asked if there was a local place we could get help with a flat tire. The cashier said it was our lucky day; Gary's was literally across the parking lot. A customer at counter said he's from a neighboring town and he always carries Gary's card after having such great service from them years ago.
