It had to be rescheduled and pushed back several times due to the doctor's "busy" schedule. We spoke for an hour and I was very optimistic that she could provide great care in the areas of concern. I was a little surprised at the initial fee of $400, but thought she's going to help me. I had my blood drawn soon after and waited for the office to notify me. After many weeks I had to reach out several times regarding my blood work results. I was told this was a "provider" issue, basically the doctor is too busy. I was finally scheduled an appointment for the end of March. I received a call on the day of the appointment that the doctor would be running late and could we push the appointment out another hour. I agreed, but made it clear I did not have the extra time to wait once I arrived. I arrived on time and waited an hour. The doctor still had not shown up, so I had to leave. I received no calls to follow up on my appointment. I called the next week and the secretary was surprised the doctor hadn't called me. I was not. She called 2 days later at 8 in the evening to tell me how busy she's been working at the hospital and that she didn't mean to make me feel invaluable. She proceeded to tell me about my blood work results and then message got cut off. I called to see how I was supposed to proceed and got no answer. At this point I feel the doctor did not follow through with her promises and believe I deserve my money back as I received zero care and a lot of hassle. The secretary is also hostile and is obviously tired of dealing with disgruntled patients as I'm sure this is a regular occurrence. This is by far the worst run office and doctor experience I've ever had.

If you are too busy, I know it's tough but stop seeing new patients. Better to give your time to existing patients and not jeopardize new patients care and time.

I had been dealing with chronic pain about 6 months after I delivered my first daughter (with another OB) and was brushed off for so many years about it. It became debilitating, impacting everything from my work to my personal life. Dr Culpepper genuinely listened to me and more importantly...BELIEVED THAT I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY BODY. I don't know why women's healthcare can be such an awful experience but she really turned it around for me. I've gone through a few surgeries with her and she delivered my youngest daughter. Unfortunately, the front office staff and billing coordinators, Dina and Lisa at Obstetrics and Associates of Dallas, have made every step stressful and unprofessional. When I first tried to schedule as a new OB patient with Dr. Wagner, they told me they didn't take my BCBS HMO insurance plan. I called my insurance, who confirmed they did, and even provided a letter showing coverage for both the doctor and the office, but they still refused to see me. I ended up switching insurance plans just to have Dr. Wagner for my first pregnancy. It then took over a month to get an appointment because the ultrasound tech was booked. When I finally arrived, after completing all my online forms, I was told nothing came through and had to redo everything in person which delayed the time. Another patient sitting next to me said the same thing happened to her. Why text forms for patients to complete online, just to tell us that it didn't come through after we submitted it in their portal? After I submitted all my paperwork, they called my name and also told me I needed to pay $350 upfront just to see the doctor without even running my insurance first. That was strange to me, and sure enough, I later found out I overpaid and still have a credit sitting at their office. That frustration made it hard to even enjoy my ultrasound, which should have been a special and joyful experience especially as a first-time mom. It was super rushed and just not what I expected, but still I persevered just to have Dr. Wagner as my OBGYN. Then came the final straw, the billing issue. Dina emailed me stating they needed to collect my 2026 deductible now. I explained that I've already met my 2025 deductible (it's October 2025), that my 2026 deductible isn't even due yet, and that I'm switching insurance plans next month. Even with that information, they still insisted I pay $1,136 upfront or be referred to another office. I had actually emailed Dina about this five days earlier, but she didn't respond until the morning of my appointment, with the billing manager, Lisa, on the line simply repeating the same thing. They claimed it's "company policy" to collect future deductibles in advance, like a layaway, which makes absolutely no sense. Why would I pay that much money for a plan I won't even have in a few weeks? It wasn't about whether I could pay, it was about the principle and how unreasonable the policy is. I even told them I'd be happy to pay my new deductible once I'm enrolled in my new plan, but they wouldn't listen. Their only focus was on collecting money instead of understanding the situation. If this really is a company policy, it needs to be reviewed immediately, because no patient should be treated this way especially after all the effort I went through just to stay with this doctor. I ultimately decided to transfer to another office. Dr. Wagner is cool, but the front and billing staff completely ruin the experience. She has the best bedside manor, she is respectful and she's a great listener. She is unbelievably great with children. My son has never once cried while she was giving him his shots. Everything is exceptionally clean and all the rooms have fun different themes. They even have a special exam room for kids that have all kinds of toys for them to play with while your waiting. I've been with Dr. Arnold for 24 years and for the majority of the time, she has had the same staff. Recently a few members of the staff have been replaced with new people. I have not been impressed. Many of them are unprofessional with a lack of manors. However, Tom is great. He's quick, to the point, friendly, polite and professional. I always schedule my son and my appointments early and we are seen on time. If you are an established patient, you will find the open clinic to be helpful if you need to be seem right away. I cannot confirm the time/dates. I always avoid scheduling my appointment around that time, as the office becomes very busy and I experience a long wait.

Let me start off by saying that if I could give zero stars I WOULD but because of my experience I want to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else. The first appointment I had my partner with me because I've been experiencing unexplained bleeding. I had previously gone to a urgent care because I haven't had to go to a primary really up until recently. They ran tests and couldn't seem to find the source but still gave me treatment because of my symptoms being out of the ordinary. I found this guy to look more into what is happening with me. My partner and I went into the appointment and the first thing I noticed was another patient, a women walking out extremely upset. I felt bad being nosey but it took me back since I've had bad experiences in the past but my partner reassured that we don't know everything and to not assume my appointment would go the same way. We go in and he seems nice for the most part and was open to answering questions that me and my partner had. At first. We scheduled up a follow up for me to get an ultra sound done and he recommended I go get a blood and urine test done. The follow up comes up and this time my partner isn't able to accompany me so I went by myself. Going into the appointment he was acting VERY different then how he had acted at the previous appointment. He didn't seem to want to answer my questions that HE didn't find relevant and told me that everything ran normal and had said that I'm just a heavy bleeder on my period. After the amount of times that I had told him that I have never bled that many days ( a week before my actual period ) before starting my period. He continued to ignore my questions and just said " If you bleed this much on your period that's not a way to live I'm gonna prescribe you to take birth control ". He even made what I felt was an inappropriate comment and compared my bleeding to a crime scene. Already feeling that he was acting totally different from my last appointment and feeling like I didn't get answers. My partner and I considered it a win despite that and I tried to still be empathetic and think that maybe he was having a bad day and to try not too look into it too much. The day after ( today ) I started bleeding more then I have ever bled before. I had to leave work because I was bleeding on the chairs that I have to sit on. I called them to figure out what could be happening because my bleeding and cramping are getting so out of control that I can't even finish a shift and got sent home. I got ahold of Debra ( tbh not sure what she is because she works front desk but she also assists him like a nurse ) and all she told me was that the pill isn't causing me to bleed and continued to be rude and not helpful. We end the call with her saying that she was gonna call the doctor and get back to me because they aren't in office. I get the call back and she tells me in a snarky tone that he as well feels that the pill isn't the cause and recommended that I take MORE OF THEM per day and that it should help stop the bleeding. BUT DONT SEEM INTERESTED AS TO WHATS CAUSING IT?? Mind you. I've been on birth control before and my body had never responded to it this way. My periods in the past have only ever been heavy the first couple days then die down. And also if it's not the pill then there must be something else wrong. But they didn't want to take me in and they refused to even write me a note for the days I'm gonna have to miss of work now having to go somewhere else to figure out what's happening. As much as my wife likes and trusts Dr. Grisham and his staff, I can assure you that she is a distant third behind me and our daughter. I was told long ago that I should accompany my wife to any and all sonograms just in case something went wrong. Reluctantly, I accompanied my wife to a sonogram about three months into her first pregnancy. I avoided eye contact and assumed the role of silent male protector. I was disarmed almost immediately. From the receptionist to the attending nurse to the nurse who always draws blood just right from my wife's evasive veins, this office is not a business, but rather a destination. Now my daughter Dr. Grisham brought into this world two years ago runs to greet the office staff for hugs and candy while Dr. Grisham capably and calmly walks my way wife through the ups and downs of a second pregnancy. These are not normal numbers, especially not for an athlete. It's 7 years later and I'm still paying the price of this being missed. Ferritin numbers should be greater than 50 for survival, and greater than 100 for athletes. This also increases the risk of surgeries and other things - because surgery from blood loss can cause ferritin and circulating iron to completely tank - and for me resulted in post-surgical psychosis, which I found out was ultimately tied to severe iron deficiency. (Untreated iron deficiency worsens over time, especially if you're bleeding heavy) I would've really wanted a healthcare provider to inform me of these numbers, to inform me about the risks associated with surgery specifically, iron deficiency and anemia beforehand. However, she is an excellent surgeon, so I added one star for that.
