I had Dr. Nelson for my entire pregnancy, even with many complications throughout my pregnancy he made sure I had the right medicine combos, always listened and acted on my concerns. Everyone has a different experience but I thought I should share mine. Make sure you go with your gut feeling when it comes to what a doctor is saying. We are pregnant with our first, and during sono the noticed I had a cyst on my ovary. Sonographer said oh a cyst but nothing to be worried about. Went in to see Dr. Luecke, and she was telling me how I needed to schedule a surgery immediately for the cyst before it gets big and swells around my ovary causing me the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. She was very persistent that I schedule before I leave the office however, something didn't feel right so I refused. Then in the office, we rarely discussed my pregnancy and more of how I should be vaccinated for covid. I understand their job right now and to help others, but it is still my right to have my opinion and do what I feel is best for our child and myself. When the office called to inform me of the gender of our child they immediately told me I had a std. my husband and I are both very faithful people so I didn't know what to say and was shocked. Something still didn't feel right, so my husband went to go get checked and nothing, and then when I switched doctors they rechecked and of course I originally had nothing. That news caused me 10 weeks of pain and heartache and disconnect from my baby and strain on my marriage . Even though I knew the right answer the idea was left in my mind of what if. They were very rude with the process of helping me switch doctors and the office staff even hung up on me. When I switched doctors he also explained how it's natural for the body to create a cyst when you first ovulate after pregnancy and that he was going to guarantee it was gone, and it was! So the fact I was supposed to feel pressured into a unnecessary surgery pregnant, and that they had a mix up on my labs, I can not suggest this place for a first time experience. read more

Annoyed doesn't begin to describe how I feel about this place. The staff is what is their issue. In the past they have been very condescending and dismissive about ovarian cysts that I've had even though the first time I saw them, they instructed me I'd have to have emergency surgery to remove a 8 cm cyst. It had been a couple years so I decided to make an appt for another cyst I have because of the pain it's been causing. Made the appt and also asked for a pap smear. Went in yesterday only to be told the ultrasound tech wasn't there so they couldn't look at the cyst. So I asked about at least doing the pap smear which I was told they couldn't because it's considered a wellness exam and I'm not well because of the cyst. So, I took off work for nothing. They're only solution was that I could come back on Monday when the ultrasound tech would be in. They told me, "sorry, the woman at the front desk is new". Really??? I wouldn't recommend this place. Total waste of time. I left there in tears. Never again. read more

If I could this front office a ZERO- I would! Dr. Sudela was highly recommended by a close friend. I made my appointment 6 weeks ago. I'm on my way into the office and call to make sure of the address-- and they have no record of me at all. I remember making this appointment because I had to call multiple times and then finally I spoke to someone at the front desk who went ahead and made my appointment. I would have been a new patient--and now I would have to wait till after Thanksgiving for a visit, and while I have no doubt Dr.Sudela is a great doctor--his front desk or 'face' of his practice is obviously unorganized. If I'm going to wait another month for appointment--you can bet I'd never wait for your practice just to be told oops we didn't enter your appointment again. read more

On 9//9/2013, I arrived for a 1:30 appointment at 1:20 at the Scenic Dr office, upon arrival I was informed that my nurse practitioner was now under another physician and I need to update "x" number of forms ....no problem I complied and returned them to the front window at approximately 1:40ish. At 2:18 is was still not called back for my appointment and I asks the person at the window do I need to reschedule, my appointment was for 1:30, I firmly believe that I would have been sitting there longer had I not gone up to the window and inquired as to why I had not been seen. Within in 2 minutes I was suddenly rushed back to the room and after we go through the linty of additional questions, I went to restroom, returned and got undressed as requested. 10 more minutes go by and still no service. I understand how schedules can change due to office emergencies, but what I don't understand and appreciate is that not one employee realized that I had been sitting in the eating room well past my appointment time only to rushed bak to wait again. That's unacceptable!! Time is a commodity that can never be replaced and as medical providers, I'm sure you don't appreciate your time being wasted especially if it affects your bottom line. I also value my time if I was late my appointment would have been cancelled and I would have been charged, when your incompetent staff the customer does not get an explanation or apology from you office. When I departed your offices not one person, to include the young lady who took me back to the room whom I walked past at the nurses station( they were to busy gossiping) or your front desk window person bothered to stop me and inquire as to why I was leaving. After waiting more than an hour for my scheduled appointment I get called back. I was told to strip down and the doctor would be there shortly. After an HOUR of sitting naked in this room I get up and start getting dressed because at this point I'm ready to leave. As soon as I get up the doctor walks in doesn't listen to a thing I'm telling her, misdiagnoses me, prescribes me medication that I could not even take because it made me so sick and Didn't allow me to go outside or my skin would blister or burn, her visit was about 3 minutes and just told me she will send samples off for testing as I'm repeatedly telling her that's not what is wrong with me since I've been dealing with the same problem for four years. She did not care at all so instead I got to pay hundreds of dollars for these results and guess what.. they all were negative just like I told her they would be. So I'm out a lot of money, still don't have the right medication, and completely wasted my time. I will never go here again I'll just wait for my doctor to get back from vacation next time. read more

I was referred to this office to see dr Davis, as I was in the market for a dr closer to home. I showed up today at 330 as instructed to do new patient paperwork, that took all of about 8 minutes, for an appt today at 4. The receptionist said they would need a urine sample, which was provided before 4:00. I waited, I waited, and I waited. I thought this wasn't a very good first impression, and hoped this wasn't the norm, but waited patiently bc I know things like this happen. At about 430-445, a lady in the office stuck out her head and mentioned they were running behind. Everyone grudgingly laughed, as this had been very evident for quite some time. At that time I went to the window and volunteered to see someone else if they would speed up the process. It was at that time I realized dr Davis, who I came to this office to see, was not in that afternoon. They had scheduled me for dr Nelson despite my direct request to see dr Davis, as that is who I was referred to by a friend, and I prefer to not see male drs. Again, I thought that was annoying, but let it go bc I realize accidents happen. At 5:00 a girl, (seemingly a nurse, but I wouldn't know for sure as she failed to introduce herself, let alone apologize for the wait or simply say "hi, how are you?" The girl got my weight, took me to a room where she got my blood pressure, didn't tell me what it was, asked about 2 questions and left the room saying dr Nelson would be with me shortly. This girl was very impersonable and lacked customer service skills, let alone basic people skills. At about 515 dr Nelson entered the room, apologized for the wait, and got to asking about my previous pregnancy and brief background. Not ten minutes later, he got to talking about scheduling a sono. What did he mean schedule a sono, isn't that why I was here? The dr said the sono techs had already left for the day. I very dissapointedly tried to understand how this could be. He said he had to see me first to confirm I was pregnant prior to confirming the sonogram was necessary. My urine sample had been available since before 4, could he not have briefly looked at it and said yes, do a sono and then I will see the patient. I just don't understand. I then asked about my annual exam thinking if I accomplished something after waiting this long, I might feel better about the situation. He agrees to do it right then, "if you want to wait even longer." I decline, since I have to come back next week anyways. The dr then walks me back to the desk, where he asks the girl to schedule me for a sono and annual next week. The girl asks if this date was okay, and then goes on to mention him being over booked. Fighting back tears, I explain I'd rather not spend several hours waiting, and she simply said okay, and scheduled me for 2-3 weeks further out. Instead of leaving this appt with a confirmed due date so I can excitedly tell my close friends and family, I left in tears of frusturation, not knowing anything more than I did prior to coming. Evidently lakepointe woman's clinic is too busy with their current patients to be concerned with gaining, or losing, new referrals. I wont be back, and I will make it a point to let all my friends and social media contacts know to stay far, far away. read more
