We also had a family member who needed an emergency visit, an extraction and a deep cleaning over the course of 3 weeks. The long hours make it easy to get an appointment and they are happy to let you know if something opens up earlier (if you want). Office staff is helpful, office is nice, easy parking. At that time, I was out of town. My 18-year-old and 16-year-old went in for teeth cleanings. They never called my husband or me to let us know that our insurance was outside of their network. They were supposed to call us and discuss everything before proceeding with the procedure. They told my 18-year-old that they had informed us about all procedures and payment options, but they never called us. Now, the front desk is telling me that my daughter is 18 years old and can sign any papers, even though they misled her by not informing us and having her sign the papers. My husband was out of work for nine months, and we were on Molina insurance. We had just set up our insurance and received calls to make appointments. For my dental treatment, they called me three times to schedule appointments. When I returned to the country and called to confirm, they told me we weren't covered with them, and I could not be seen. They could have done the same for my daughters. It was only a three-week difference between my girls' appointments and mine. How is it that they could see my daughters, but I couldn't be treated? They made a mistake. They didn't inform us that our insurance was out of network for Dental Designs. Now they want to send the bill to collections, even though we are not at fault. The front desk failed to make everything clear. PLEASE BEWARE OF THE SCAM DENTAL DESIGN IS PULLING. There must be many older people who don't even know they are being wrongly charged or given incorrect information. Having a 16-year-old sign payment papers is wrong. Telling false information to a 16- and 18-year-old is wrong.

Then my adult daughter was told it was time to get her wisdom teeth out even though they were not bothering her. Dr. Aldridge performed the surgery without giving her the option to seek care with a specialist. It went completely sideways and the staff did nothing to help until it was too late. My daughter had a major infection and had to have additional procedures under general anesthesia with a specialist. The staff lacked experience and empathy. Seek a specialist whenever doing major dental surgery. Needless to say we are looking for a new dentist.

They have dropped some coverage with certain insurance companies, but luckily ours wasn't one of them. They have also had a lot of dental hygienist turnover the last couple of years, but they seem to have a full staff again currently. That's been tough for us because we had been spoiled with having the same hygienist for years and got to know them, which added extra comfort to an otherwise stressful experience. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but seeing a familiar face had helped ease my anxiety. We love the relaxing spa vibes in this office. It feels clean and comfortable, but not overly clinical like some dentist offices. They offer beverages in the waiting room, which also has a couch and fireplace, making for a cozy environment. We also appreciate that they can make a crown while you wait and watch a Netflix movie. It's nice not have to wait a week for a third party to make the crown and leave the dentist office with a temporary. The in-house crowns we're not something we've experienced before, so that's a huge plus! Overall this is an exceptional dentist office. They have a nice relaxing environment and have the capabilities of performing most dental services in-house. We would highly recommend.

Since going to Creekside, I have had one cleaning and two procedures done, and I couldn't be happier! The staff is professional, helpful and incredibly nice!!! The office is spotless! When my insurance…read morechanged I decided to leave Distinctive Dental try out a different dental practice closer to my house which was a big mistake. The other dentist (NOT distinctive) did a filling that they not only trapped blood behind, but also left a massive amount of excess composite that went passed where the tooth meets the gum and essentially made a spear slicing into the inside of my cheek. I could fit a fingernail between the excess material and the gum above my tooth. I was in a ton of pain from the resulting ulcer on my cheek and the headache from dental pain. I called distinctive and was able to get an appointment very quickly. While Dr. Kim and the assistant remained incredibly professional, they seemed surprised and were very empathetic that I was left with a filling in the condition I was. They ensured I was fully educated on my options and involved me in the creation of the treatment plan. At the first appointment they removed the excess material to ease my pain and allow the soft tissues to heal. When I went back for the repair, we had initially thought a crown was necessary, but Dr. Kim was able to successfully repair with a new filling. They could've said the significantly more expensive crown was still necessary and I wouldn't have known better, but they chose better care over making money. The procedure itself was also miles better than my experience with the other dentist--the other office had forcefully pulled my cheek away as far as possible in an attempt to access the affected back molar, while Dr. Kim gave me instructions on how to hold my jaw so he could see. He also checked in frequently to ensure I was doing okay. He also took multiple photos throughout the process so I could actually see what he was talking about, and the before and after difference was night and day. TLDR: incredibly kind and compassionate staff that truly puts patient care over profit and ensure the patient is fully informed and involved in their treatment plan. I highly recommend!
