I'm still in disbelief that we were able to close on my our first beautiful home and we have Monica to thank for that. She literally worked her magic to make our home buying process a reality. Monica was recommended as she recently helped a family member of ours buy a house and we were thrilled she was able to work with us too. We trusted her instinct, asked her many questions and even in such a competitive market where I thought we wouldn't have a chance she made it happen! We are beyond grateful and blessed to have worked with Monica. She was extremely patient, communicated often and was readily available. There were many times I would tell her I was a total novice and she would take the time to rephrase things until I understood them. Monica truly is a wonderful realtor that I would recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thanks again Monica for all your help in making our dream of being homeowners a reality. Monica was wonderful to work with and helped us close on the first property, a condo, we loved enough to put an offer on. She was a good communicator and ran a very organized process. We would definitely recommend Monica for anyone looking for a realtor in the San Francisco Bay Area. read more

Monica is the best! We've worked with Monica twice now, once on the first purchase of our house and again on purchasing our second home. Each time, it felt like working with a friend whose knowledgeable and had your back every step of the way. For our first home, she eased our worries and gave us great advice that helped us find the right lender and close with little to no money down. Our second home was a more significant purchase, and she helped us negotiate and put extra money back into our pockets that we used for renovations. What I love most about Monica is she's not looking for a quick transaction but to help you make the best decisions for you and your family. read more

Well, like I said, Monica would be our agent again when we sold our house! Couldn't be happier! We were able to sell our house at a profit, and significantly above asking. And our new house accepted our first offer! I work with realtors on a daily basis, through my own job. So I'm pretty familiar with most in this area and I can say right now that Monica was the right choice when we first worked with her and will be the right choice when we decide to move next! We can't recommend her enough! read more

I use Yelp a lot and when I see a business with 5 stars I wonder how real they are but I'm here to tell you Monica is a legit 5 star agent! She's experienced, knowledgeable, detail oriented, caring, fun to work with and has tons of great contractors and services to draw on. We've bought 2 houses and sold one with Monica and did fantastic financially on both sides. You can't do better with a home buying or selling partner. read more

We had the best experience of selling and purchasing our house with Monica Betancur. She was referred to us from our close friends. They said she's great and that was an understatement. Monica explained the process in detail so we knew what to expect. She communicated with us daily, you can tell she really cares. The sale of our house went perfectly. After we got to know her we realized she had to be the agent to help find our new home in Redding, A 3 hour drive from the sale in Concord. She's very knowledgeable, professional and driven. We didn't know all the ins and outs of selling and buying a house simultaneously. Monica was very patient with us. The outcome was great, we now have our dream home. read more

Monica is amazing! We knew in the Fall of 2022 that we would need to sell our house in Concord in early 2023. We knew the market was crazy and seemed to be getting worse... Unfortunately, we did not have the luxury of being able to wait it out. Monica transformed this challenging experience for us. She made everything easy and smooth. Her positive can-do attitude infused joy into what otherwise could have been a very difficult emotional roller coaster. Monica went above and beyond in every aspect of her support. Communication with her was consistent, clear, and effective. Her attention to detail and commitment to finding ways to create and increase the beauty of our property was greatly appreciated. In the end all of her efforts and strategies payed off exponentially. There were multiple offers above asking. And we found ourselves in the extraordinary position of accepting an offer for more than we had dared to imagine. We are so incredibly grateful for Monica. I would not have wanted to walk this journey with anyone else. Thank you for everything! read more

Can't say enough wonderful things about every part of what Monica did to help us sell our home in just 21 days from Listing to Close at well above our asking price!! Experienced professional, well-connected, knowledgeable, and motivated are words that come to mind when describing Monica. A breeze to work with through my selling process, she went above and beyond my expectations of what an agent can do to make a home sparkle for a listing. She kept a constant eye out for ways to showcase the additional value to prospective buyers and kept me in check, preventing me from blowing up my budget on excessive remodeling and repairs. A true asset for anyone in need of a trustworthy and ambitious agent who can get things done. read more

Monica is a top notch real estate agent! My husband and I have worked with Monica on three real estate deals over the last 12 years and each time she has exceeded our expectations. Recently she managed the sale of our property in Milpitas and the purchase of our new house simultaneously. Her amazing marketing skills got us an above-ask, all-cash offer 2 days after hitting the market! Monica is very professional, a killer negotiator, and she is not afraid to get her hands dirty...literally! We were down to the wire getting our house ready to put on the market, she jumped in to help us move things and did some final staging that added just the right finishing touches. She always pays attention to the details whether she is staging a house, writing a contract, or in negotiations to get the best deal possible. When it came to finding our new home, Monica helped me to narrow down our target list so we could maximize our time when touring. This was very helpful considering we had to travel over 2 hours to the new city with our kids and elderly parents. She is really great at interpreting a buyer's needs (even ones you don't know you have!) so she can match you with the right home. She helped our family find a multi-generation home that fit the needs of all 6 of us. She guided us through that big, high-stress life transition with patience, understanding, and support that went above and beyond in so many ways. When problems came up, she immediately resolved them or came to us with options in mind. She would take the time to clearly explain the situation, discuss all the possible paths forward, and then answered our questions to help us make an informed decision. Her client relationship skills and real estate knowledge are truly phenomenal. I highly recommend her! read more

My husband and I were first time homebuyers on a fairly tight budget. Monica helped us purchase a condo in downtown Concord, CA. Monica was very responsive and always responded to communications quickly. Earlier in the year, I had contacted another realtor who was slow to start showing us anything. But Monica got us looking right away. She walked us through the process and we got out 2nd offer accepted in a hot market. Monica seems very knowledgeable and has years of experience. I was a nervous buyer but Monica was patient with our concerns and helped us get through the entire process fairly quickly! She seemed skilled at negotiating and was familiar with the area. read more

Over the past few months, my fiancee and I have been working with Monica in our search for a new home and now that that arduous journey is at an end, we cannot recommend Monica enough as an agent. As buyers new to the real estate market in East Bay, Monica hand-held us through the entire process and we are extremely grateful for her guidance during house tours, the offer process, reviewing disclosures, scheduling inspections, and closing. Regardless of what time and day it was, Monica was always available to promptly answer any of our questions. Thanks to Monica's wealth of knowledge and expertise, we felt like we were able to navigate the home buying process with proper expectations, and feeling confident that none of the decisions we made now would result in regrets down the road. My fiancée and I would not be happy homeowners today without Monica. I would recommend Monica as a realtor without any reservations to anyone in the market looking to purchase a home. read more

Monica took good care of us 5 years ago when she helped us purchase our first home in the East Bay and 5 years later, she provided the same caring and professional service to help us sell our home. Her strategies and experience is impressive. We trust her with our hearts and she did not disappoint. She is always motivated and gave limitless suggestions. She took care of everything from cleaning the place to making sure the house smelled delicious the day of open house. It's full service! I can't imagine what headache we will have if we had tried to achieve it on our own. If you are looking for a good, responsive, reliable and caring realtor....she's the one! read more

When it came time to purchase our 2nd home it was a no brainer to call Monica to assist again. Just closed....... From sending us Listings, Showings, inspections, To negotiating the seller credit, I could not of asked for more. Even after closing she was there to give referrals of handy man and contractors that could help with the repairs that would need to be addressed. After we settle in our new home. Saying Monica is the best is an understatement. Working with Monica has been an absolute dream. We began working with a Monica in October, where she came and helped us with prepping our home to put on the market. Her positive energy was infectious. Monica was attentive, honest and realistic with us every step of the way. Monica was clear and thorough in all communication which was so helpful and really removed all stress that can be caused with selling and buying a home. Each step of the way we knew exactly what to expect and prepare for. The amount of love, energy and work that Monica puts into her clients is unbeatable. It is unheard of but we were able to close the sale of our home the same day that our offer was accepted in our new home. Monica truly goes above and beyond with her clients and truly builds a relationship rather just a transaction. Even after closing Monica continues to provide guidance and help. For these reasons I will continue to recommend Monica to everyone and anyone looking to sell or purchase a home. We are return clients and will continue to return to her! read more

I contacted Monica as a referral from a family friend and in that first meeting I was excited to be working with her. She was SO prepared and made sure I understood the process fully. This was my first home and I was sad to let it go but she made the process actually enjoyable. Top-notch in the all-important business aspects, and then some!!! Monica takes the role of realtor to new heights, and I do speak from comparative experience. I wish my husband and I had only ever worked with her but, once we had, we were hooked. Monica has represented us as sellers and as buyers, and has also helped several friends and family members find their "forever" homes. I'm overdue in writing a review for Monica, especially seeing as I recommend her exclusively. You'll never meet another agent who so completely "gets" what you want, and who makes the sometimes emotional experience of house hunting or selling as consistently positive as can be. She's a highly competent professional, and a gem of a person. read more

Monica - the best realtor you could EVER have. She's so sweet and actually cares about you. She doesn't try to "sell" any house, she finds you the house you deserve and want. We loved working with her so much, now she's not the women that got us our beautiful house, she's our friend. Thank you so much Monica, we appreciate you so much. read more

Monica is an amazing and genuine individual. She helped us buy our first home almost four years ago and now she has helped us sell our home to buy a new home that is better suited for our growing family. Monica helped us through both the selling and buying process and made everything so easy for us. She was able to accomodate our busy lifestyles and most importantly our childrens lifestlyes in the sell of our home. We highly recomend Monica to anyone interested in buying or selling a home, and if/when we are in the need of an agent again, we hope to have Monica help us. read more

All we can say is "Fantastic". Monica is a professional at what she does. We used her in the purchase of our home in the Central Valley and she stuck with us through the whole process. You need to understand that we are not the easiest of clients to work with. We bounced around from Antioch to Brentwood to Oakley until she found us exactly what we wanted. She was so patient and stuck by us every step of the way. For that we are so so appreciative. We sold that home with her help and she got us well over what we even expected. She spent months trying to get us a home in the East Bay and we were out bid, but she kept us motivated and never gave up on us. She worked so hard to find us a home. Following our old ways we changed our search to the Peninsula. Even though it was way out of her area she still stuck by us and we found our home. We can't thank you enough Monica for all you have done for our family. You've found us a place to call home exactly where we wanted it. Thank you for all you've done. We consider you part of our family. You are the best!!! The Casas Family read more
