If you use the ATM, it's impossible to use in your car and must exit the car as screen is too high. The screen contract is so bad you can't even see the screen on sunny days. If you do enter your debt card, you enter the complete transaction and at the end it says "Can't complete the transaction" and ejects your card. This place is beautiful on the outside, but a complete fail with any service being used.

My account is so old it was Rainier Bank, then Puget Sound National and I think it became Key Bank after that. I mention these banks because of the old timers reading this you'll remeber those days. I just was informed that Key Bank Visa has closed my account. It goes on to say due to inactivity. WHAT?! This account is FIFTY YEARS OLD! I used the account once a year paid it off in full to keep it zeroed out and open. This is a gold star on my and anyone's credit rating. Twice I had written 4 digit checks to pay off previous balances. Since then I kept a ZERO balance on it. The letter claimed, "they doubt it would affect my credit score." Oh Really? Read on.... That is a LIE! Here are the FACTS and harm done because I was not giving them any interest on by using and living on credit. PROOF banks are only looking for PROFIT$. Equifax just sent my monthly notification and upon reviewing I see this action resulted in dropping my credit score EIGHTEEN POINTS. On Equifax it's still listed as :Very Good: by their standards, gee drop 18 points = VERY GOOD from 855 to 839. It's effing criminal. Later Mom and I went in to get fitted for a more size oriented walker. Gail spent quite a bit of time making sure that the walker we ordered was the right size for a tiny woman of 4'7". Her approach was alway helpful and she apologized whenever she had to step away to help another customer. Mom has had her new walker for about a month and she is walking taller and not as bent over. The new walker actually fits! We ended up purchasing a petite junior lift chair also. My belief was that a small, local credit union should offer a different kind of service and personal connection than the faceless, national banking institutions. The folks at Cascade are unhelpful, uncaring, and arbitrary - all at the detriment of the clientelle they are supposed to serve, and I closed my account today because of it. If you are looking for a credit union - look elsewhere. Just go to BECU. Edit: In response to the "response". The "rules" discussed here are actually just Cascade's own made up rules - nothing to do with FDIC or regulatory rules.
