Now for some of the negatives: - They need to update the pictures on the website. Not everything is available. Or it might be available and they only have a certain amount. - They charge for missing items even it was out of your control. The display is so beautiful makes me wanna get married again. I came here looking for 10 chairs for a very small celebration. Since I live in Steiner Ranch, some party rentals wanted to charge me $100 for 10 chairs and a table. So my husband found this place and I'm so glad he did. Even though it was a small order and we would keep the chairs for the weekend and we picked up on Friday, the price was very, very affordable and we were only charged for one day. My company recently rented 2,000 white resin padded chairs from Monarch Event Rentals and they went well above and beyond their call of duty! We originally rented them for a Sunday but requested that they be dropped Saturday afternoon. The helpline representative quickly went to work and hired their staff on overtime to send out 4 box trucks of chairs to my event. The staff that arrived was so helpful in dropping the massive amount of chairs throughout the terrace space. They were prompt on pick up as well. We picked everything up the day before in our truck and although my husband and brother in law claimed the guys in the back loading were a tad lazy (they didn't seem too eager to help load) we had a great time renting with this company. I would refer my friends! They allowed us to keep our rentals an extra day since we had trouble bringing them back the following day after our event. Super nice and easy to work with! read more

My experience with Monarch was not seamless but definitely worth the time because compared to other rental companies, they are the best price and they're very sweet people. Everyone working with Monarch was very helpful and kind, the process was just a little clunky because they kept losing our quotes or not communicating with each other on the team so the agreed upon invoices would go missing and no one knew when we needed our chairs delivered/what time to deliver/etc. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable experience. The chairs we rented were very pretty. I would just have preferred the communication been a little smoother, I think this is something larger event teams all struggle with though. Had a great experience with Monarch Event Rentals. The linens were beautiful and the guys in the warehouse were ready to review my order and load up my car as soon as I arrived for pick-up early in the morning. My consultation also went well and the lady was very helpful. My biggest complaint is that when I arrived for my consultation, the lady was extremely late for my appointment and didn't even give me a heads up. She said that she was delivering linens to a bride who requested their services day of because her own vendor didn't show. I think that is amazing that they help out brides like that - but maybe give me heads up, please? Rather than have a potential customer sit in your parking lot for an hour. Writing this late (wedding was in June of 2016), but I just read an article about weddings and it made me think about this.... First of all, I was the most anti-bride you will find. I was stressed out during most of my wedding planning and did not find it enjoyable for the most part. My fiance and I decided to save money and get married in our own (very large) backyard. I went to another competitor in town before coming to Monarch, and just like the reviews state, they will beat every other business when it comes to price, so that's nice. During the process of going through my wedding planning, I came here about 3-4 times and worked with a different person every time. They were all nice, sometimes a little pushy, but gave me good input when I was virtually clueless and indecisive. On the day of our wedding, it rained and two of the glass vases I rented fell over and broke. I called Jennifer the day of the pickup freaking out about having to pay for damages and she was very understanding and said it was fine. I think she seems like a great business owner. I can see I'm the outlier here, but I wouldn't necessarily choose Monarch, given the choice. Our venue required we rent through them, so we didn't do any research, we just had to go with it. Any correspondence we had through email was really prompt and helpful, but the phone was an entirely different story. We picked our table up on the day of our wedding and all was fine, but returning them was a mess. Someone told my husband they would be there until 4 or 5 p.m. the following day for the return, and after I took time away from my friends and family to drive a loaner van up all the way to their facility before 4, no one answered. It was so stressful. My husband eventually got through to someone on a backup-backup phone line, and they said they would call us Monday to sort things out. By then we did not have the van and had no way to get the tables back, plus no one had called us on Monday. On Tuesday my husband talked to someone who was argumentative and did not help us find a solution. I emailed and was immediately answered by someone who ended up being very helpful. They arranged to come pick up the tables. It was all quite a headache, but I'm glad they made it right in the end. If you are going to work with them, I strongly recommend email over phone calls. read more

I was so excited when I originally picked out linens for my wedding as in store they were beautiful. I picked up my linens to realize that my head table linens (4) were 3 different shades of Gold. They tried to explain to me that this was because some were washed more than others. Totally understandable but still not an excuse. Who wants linens that don't match? When you are paying for a service and something you see, you expect to get that. The staff did a good job of trying to fix the issue but even on my wedding day the linens did not fit the tables properly and they had to lay two linens on one table just to make it look right. It all ended up working out okay but I was very disappointed due to feeling like they just threw something together rather than providing me with the linens I rented to properly fit the tables. They brought in so many that day trying to pick through to find ones to work. This is not a fun thing to deal with on your wedding day! read more
