I've been pretty much issue free with all of my computers over the years but finally came up against an all-but-unusable situation with a machine. I called Moms after seeing stuff about them on Facebook and they immediately got to work. I dropped the computer off (they were ready and willing to come pick it up but I was going to be near them) and got the call in two days. They installed a new operating system and tuned it up! I'll admit that it's the machine I game on do I simply wanted it to work and work FAST. Recently I moved my office and needed to extend my wi-fi. They sorted that out over the phone simply directing me to the hardware I needed which, in this day and age is an art. The connection speed is crazy fast. After buying a new 2019 MacBook Air to replace a 2010 MacBook Pro I had several questions about migrating files without copying 10 years of old printer drivers, duplicates, downloads of programs I no longer have or use, and working from a back up. I traveled to two Mac stores in the Valley and came to understand that those employees are in sales, not customer service. I ventured to Melrose Mac in Burbank, and they turned me on to Mom's Computer. I made the call, had a great chat with Elijah about my questions, and was able to set up an in home appointment for the very next day. Elijah was amazing. He followed my train of thought and took the time to understand how I use my computer. Once he understood what I needed he helped clear my old hard drive of malware and 3rd party junk clogging up my machine, and showed me how to find the duplicates and clear them out myself. We created a new and safe back up that I can use to transfer files to my new computer. The rates are extremely reasonable for this type of personal one one one service.
