There are so many shops to poke around in and MM's is where I found myself on this trip spending some of my money! It's basically impossible to walk by without going inside... there are so many interesting things in the window display. This time a tshirt caught my eye and I was able to walk a few more steps before realizing I'd become fixated on the shirt would need to buy them as gifts. So I turned around and in I went! The store is nice and warm! The woman helped me find the shirts in the sizes I wanted and while they were more expensive than I am used to paying ( $35 for a kids t shirt) j couldn't help but love the print. Plus Nevada city isn't cheap, so you know what you're getting into... it also feels nice to shop at a local business... given I do all my shopping online. I am pregnant and currently can't hold my daughter for long periods of time- she carefully was looking at the houses but got excited and her finger bumped a shelf while trying to show me something. An item fell off the shelf and broke. My daughter immediately started crying because she was being so careful and felt bad it broke. While I was trying to reassure her, a sales gal came over and started telling me that she broke part of a set and was very frustrated. I offered to pay for the piece but she continued to be incredibly rude, all while my daughter was crying because it was an accident. I understand pieces in the store can be pricey, but after offering to pay for the broken item, I would've expected a significant change in attitude. This is a store with great items, but I won't be shopping there again.
