There are so many shops to poke around in and MM's is where I found myself on this trip spending some of my money! It's basically impossible to walk by without going inside... there are so many interesting things in the window display. This time a tshirt caught my eye and I was able to walk a few more steps before realizing I'd become fixated on the shirt would need to buy them as gifts. So I turned around and in I went! The store is nice and warm! The woman helped me find the shirts in the sizes I wanted and while they were more expensive than I am used to paying ( $35 for a kids t shirt) j couldn't help but love the print. Plus Nevada city isn't cheap, so you know what you're getting into... it also feels nice to shop at a local business... given I do all my shopping online. I recommend you take a look inside and see if you find your own little treasure!!!

I was totally enamored with the line of baby clothes. Quality, organic cotton clothes in modern fun patterns versatile for both genders. Also there were these little adorable plushies, created from women cooperatives in economic depressed economies, that were just the cutest. They also sell fair trade gifts and accessories, eco home goods, and crafted items from local artisans.

I set an appointment and I don't know if she told me the time wrong or if I put it in my phone wrong or if I heard it wrong. but I missed my appointment time came in at 3:30 thinking I was early and she wouldn't look at my clothes because she says they close at five that's an hour and a half till closing. I brought in four bags of really nice clothes and she wouldn't even look at one bag. No wonder why when I have come in here to shop for my kids the racks are empty. She could have been a littler more accommodating there was literally not a single person in their shopping. I will just have to bring my things down the hill. It's honestly too bad. I have three kids so lots of clothes.

I've found so many great outfits here over time, and I appreciate the sustainable approach to children's fashion. Also, a great toy and kid utensil selection. The only downside for me is the music they play in the store. I've noticed that it's often not kid-friendly, which feels a bit out of place for a shop geared toward children and families. It would be wonderful if they chose music that created a more wholesome, family-friendly atmosphere. That said, the clothes and the mission keep me coming back!
