Solid spot - ideally for takeout. It's a tiny hole in the wall, but adorable and looks like family-run. They don't have alcohol, so no drinks and a very small menu. Limited seating. There's an upstairs but looks un-used. Seems out of place, but maybe it's a neighborhood spot? I wouldn't go back, but might order food for delivery.

They are so nice here . The place is mall but very comfortable. At the most 23 can be in here . Menu is deceiving, does not show edamame but they have it, just ask. I think you can ask for nagiri or reg sushi OMG! They make their own soy sauce! It is delicious! Tuna roll and spicy tuna roll are the bomb. I will say it is a small place and will return

You'll have to know what you are looking for to find this charming husband and wife run sushi restaurant. It is both small and welcoming and the food is worth pursuing. We came in for lunch on a hot day and the homemade mint lemonade was exactly what we needed. The owner recommended the salmon sushi box as well as bibimbap. The salmon sushi was lightly seared on top, with a wasabi dressing and topped with capers. Excellent and unexpected. The mushroom tempura was perfection (I would have ordered an entire plate of that alone!). Vegetarian bibimbap was bright and flavorful, so so good. And the ramen was chock full of veggies. My ramen connoisseur of a son couldn't stop eating it! Highly recommend this cozy husband and wife run sushi spot. The menu may be small but each item exceeds expectations.

I really enjoyed the family feel of the place. It was small and cozy. You may miss it if you don't know to look for it. The ramen had veggies I am not used to in it and gave it too much of a veggie broth taste to me (peppers, broccoli). The noodles were good, but the egg just kind of seemed like it was an egg drop soup.

This hole in the wall is run by the sweetest older couple, who make and serve Korean-Japanese food. They were so kind taking my order and were excited that I was taking new menu pictures to share, haha. The shop itself is pretty tiny and wasn't busy at all on a weekday at lunch time. They have tables and chairs for outdoor seating when the weather gets nicer. The kimbap in particular was delicious and made to order, and I'm looking forward to trying some of their boxes in the future. Yes, the prices are a little higher than your mass market build-your-own Korean bowl, but I truly think it's worth supporting this neighborhood shop. And if you're in a rush, you can call in your order and they'll have it ready for when you arrive.

Cute cute little spot! Came for lunch with my co-workers. Love that they have the boxes. It has so much food. Was in love with the tempura but did not care for the teriyaki or the sushi. Not sure I would come back for this. They did have Ramen which was yummy. The sushi kinda fell apart and it didn't taste fresh. Not sure why. It wasn't crowded and they definitely have regulars. We came at 11:45 and it was so empty about 12:15 it was getting a little more busy. Family owned. Husband and wife team. Cleanliness was great.

    Bulgogi Bento Box.

Stopped in at lunchtime midweek and was surprised how empty the restaurant was. In the nearby area, this is definitely one of the best places to get a bento box or even just some sushi. I was seated immediately and placed my order a few minutes later. I got the bulgogi bento box. I love that there are lots of different flavors and items to taste in one meal. The bento box came out about 10-15 minutes later. The fried dumplings and tempura fried vegetables were fresh out of the fryer. I love the dressing on the salad. The bulgogi could have been a little more flavorful, but the amount of food in the box was a good amount. Bottom line: It's a little pricey, but I left full.

The layout is interesting -- there's an upstairs when you walk in, but the sushi bar and a good bit of seating are downstairs. The menu is pretty straightforward with a mix of hand rolls, appetizers, specialty rolls, nigiri/sashimi, and traditional rolls. They also have a few solid combo deals, though I usually prefer trying a variety of items instead. Service was quick, which is always appreciated at a sushi spot. We ordered a few specialty rolls, two traditional rolls, and a couple orders of sashimi, all served together on one platter. The rolls were a great size -- filling without being overly large. The sashimi was fresh, and the traditional rolls really balanced out the meal nicely. The flounder and tuna sashimi were both excellent, and the California roll made with real crab was simple, fresh, and really satisfying. The total came out somewhere in the $70 range, so after tip and splitting it between two people, it was about $40 each to try multiple rolls and sashimi. Definitely fair pricing for the quality and amount of food. This spot had been on my list for a while, so I'm glad I finally made it over. I'd recommend checking out the menu beforehand so you can go in with a game plan and try the items that stand out most to you.

The dumplings were truly phenomenal, and the waiter even offered to bring out an extra to make it an even 6, which I thought was a nice touch. The scallop spring rolls were quite filling but full of scallop so you got your moneys worth. For our mains we tried the carbonara udon and two sushi rolls - spicy tuna and the eternity roll. One other change I noticed was that they no longer cranked up the music like they used to. That was a bummer. The menu also changed...but we still found plenty of items that were tantalizing. We shared a few plates...from Miso Soup and Edamame Dumplings, to Garlic Fried Rice with Shrimp and a Sushi Roll (can't remember the name?). Also, this decadent Souffle Cheesecake dessert.
