The only qualm I had with the food quality was my initial sunny-side eggs weren't the runny ones I want but rather overcooked like a heathen would order. But once I brought this up to the server, my eggs were replaced in less than four minutes so all's well that ends well. The server was kind of slow in getting my bill and never offered me a refill for my root beer, but it wasn't a huge wait and I ended up not needing that refill. Again, a push. The ambiance was good. It looked like any memorable diner, just with a muscle car theme. There was a lot of tables and it was busy but not overcrowded. I think this would be the place I ate at if I was a frequent Morongo visitor.

Did not really plan on getting this but the dino waffle sold the gf & there were only a couple people in line, so I made the move. The Wafflesaurus Rex comes with choice of waffle (original or churro), one scoop of ice cream & 2 toppings. They were out of the churrro waffle so I just went with the original waffle, cookie's & cream ice cream, along with Oreo cookie & fruity pebbles for the toppings. This place is really just a tourist stop & gimmicky with the dino theme so I didn't expect much from it. Not that it was terrible or anything, & it's a fun pickup for the kids. If you have kids that is. The waffle is pretty dense, & is most likely box white cake or pancake mix. I think I would have enjoyed the churro option more if it was available. The ice cream itself was quite a small portion, less than I expected & comparable to everyday store bought ice cream. It's a good photo op to add to your dinosaur photos if you are so inclined & not so overpriced considering it's a tourist stop. Just FYI, no bills over $20. & It's card or cash. No Apple Pay. Cheers!
