AYCE sushi!?! Hii look no further. This little sushi joint is my favorite on the coast. The blackened tuna sashimi is out of this world & all the specialty rolls are delightful! Service is great & I think the prices are amazing!

Been here to many times & haven't written a review it's overdue. The staff & food is been great every time, Asian chick is amazing, very polite & checked on us consistent. Ambiance is good it could get a little loud but not a big deal. Ordered the stuffed jalapeño tuna appetizer, that was on steroids! Also ordered a six piece sample of different variety's of fish. Also ordered jalapeño stuffed salmon, cream cheese roll. The Philly roll was also nibbled very delicious! I did want to mention the menu has been updated & looks much better, the fried rolls are much smaller than the raw ones. Definitely recommend your sushi, with a two cold Blue Moon! Can't go wrong! Thank you so much for great service & food!

The damage. We over-ordered! Lunch tomorrow too! maybe a second dinner lol.

We have had delivery from Momiji a couple times now and we can truthfully say we like it. It is not necessarily the fanciest sushi place, their menu is a bit roll heavy and they are missing a few favorites but everything has been good, well wrapped and packaged, with all the condiments and utensils we could hope for and we have been very happy with our meals. The kid and the kid's boyfriend have eaten in ( I have not) and they reported good service and a casual atmosphere. The prices are pretty good. Our favorites are sunomono, tempura, inari, California roll, and anything salmon. Kid also endorses the miso soup. Go get your sushi on!

Had a few Bento boxes, but didn't take photos, fast and friendly service not bad, but nothing to go home and brag about

Been to momiji twice in the last couple months and it was amazing booth times! The rolls are reasonably priced and the fish tasted good as well! I thought it was so cute how they sorted out the selection of rolls we got onto these boats :) Definitely recommend this place

Unbelievably good! I was ashamed to arrive within an hour of closing time but we had a long day and it was on my list to visit. They were kind, welcoming, courteous, served us very well, the food was very well prepared and delicious. The restaurant was awesome, atmosphere abundant. Very clean, great location, kind people, amazing food, reasonable prices. Absolutely loved it. Thank you for the great experience and great food!

Awful. Don't waste your money. No flavor. We've tried their rice/noodle dishes and sushi. Won't ever order this again. Go to Lee's Wok!!!

Nate 2026 Newport, Oregon…read more Came here based on recommendations from somebody in Bend, Oregon, and a local. I will start by saying I was not impressed. We had a reservation and they took us in a few minutes early and sat us upstairs. We sat near the window that overlooks the harbor and could see it from our table. Very pretty. There is a bar area and other tables that are away from the window that don't have the same view. When we were approached by the waitress, she informed us that they were out of Dungeness crab. Our reservation was at 6:15 PM. Seems a bit odd that a town known for Dungeness crab and the restaurant doesn't have it during peak dinner hours. My husband ordered a cup of clam chowder, and I ordered a cup of the Dungeness crab soup. I loved the creaminess of my soup. However, it was not served hot. Also, there were so many shells in my soup that every bite I had to remove one from my mouth. I do believe that the roux sauce had too much flour and was not mixed well. The clam chowder was not creamy, but had a good flavor. Chunks of carrot and celery. Both soups were served with a portion of bread. The bread was good. We shared the salmon dish. We asked our waitress if we could have the peas on the side as my husband has an allergy to peas. She was quick to tell me that there would be no substitutions. I informed her I was merely asking for the peas to put on a separate dish when brought to the table. She said that she would need to clear it with the kitchen first. Apparently, they approved, as the peas were served on the side. We did enjoy the salmon. It is cooked, medium rare. However, the middle of the salmon fillet was more rare. The buttery sauce was delicious and the asparagus was cooked very well. The mushrooms were delicious. The restaurant is very casual. The outside is not much to look at. The service was fine, but not exceptional. The food was good, but my expectations were so much higher for all of the accolades I had heard prior to dining. They add an automatic tip of 20% to every tab. Then on the bill, they politely ask for an additional gratuity. See the picture of the reason for their 20% gratuity on each bill in the photos that I have attached. I would give this restaurant four stars. It is a B rating for what should be an A restaurant.

From the…read moremoment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed, with that perfect coastal Hawaiian fusion vibe that just fits so well. The food was outstanding across the board. The kids' fish and chips were a pleasant surprise--made with real rockfish, which you don't always see on a kids' menu, and it was done perfectly. Emma loved her sushi roll, and LaRue's shrimp sliders were packed with flavor and cooked just right. I went with the panko fried prawns along with the Hawaiian pulled pork, and both were absolutely excellent--crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. Even the appetizer set the tone for the meal--it was clear right away that they care about quality. What really stood out, though, was the combination of great food and great service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable without being overbearing. Overall, this was one of those meals where everything just clicked--food, service, and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, and it's an easy recommendation for anyone looking for something a little different with really solid execution.

The attitudes are positive. This restaurant feels like a good time. The prices have gone up. I blame the economic conditions rather than the owners themselves. The food sometimes I feel like the sauce is too much or the food is too sweet or too salty. I don't feel that the food is super consistent every time I go. I love supporting local business owners. I love the story of the restaurant how it started as a food truck. I just wish the food was more consistent when you order.

The service and food were excellent. It's a very nice, cozy restaurant, although a bit noisy. We both started with the half Caesar salads. Fresh, crispy amd just the right amount of dressing with a perfect tartness. We also each had wine. I did white, my wife did red. Her Revelry Cabernet from Walla Walla was exceptional. As is our custom, we split our entree. We tried the Ona Pasta and it, too, was excellent. Amazing flavor from the saffron sauce, which we found out is the owner's sauce they have been making since day one. Since it was Valentine's Day (and we had split an entree), we tried the cheesecake. Also excellent flavor and not heavy. It was the perfect end. I risked it and also got a coffee. It is drip coffee, so I was tentative. But it was full bodied, flavorful and not bitter. I found out they use Puff Coffee from Portland, which is roasted in small batches. Well worth it (it was $5, but I got a free refill). All in all, this was a great dinner spot. We would go back!
