I would definitely recommend Molly Maid to my friends. The team they sent led by Ms Maria, are not only nice ladies, but we're very efficient. They turned my house which was very dirty due to move out condition into a very clean house. Thank you for turning our rented home into a move-in ready home. I can't thank you enough. They cleaned floors, cabinets, drawers, baseboards, etc, etc. I am very pleased. Also, Molly Maid is affordable and worth every penny. Everyone provided outstanding customer service. First, the communication was terrible from start to finish. I was told I would receive a text when the cleaning team was on the way. My arrival window was 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, but when I had not heard anything by around 2:00 PM, I texted to follow up. No response. I called around 3:00 PM and was forwarded to a recorded message saying no one was available to take my call. I called again shortly after and left a voicemail. Still no response. I left work and went to the house, and based on the condition of the home, I was convinced no one had even shown up. Trash and towels were left on the floor, the windows were dirty, spot cleaning on the walls had not been done, dust was still on the radiators, and I am still not convinced the floors were mopped. I called again around 5:00 PM and got the same message that no one was available. I also sent a text and received a response saying the number was invalid. I eventually called the new customer line because it was the only way to reach anyone. The woman I spoke with said she would mark my issue as urgent and that someone would call me directly. No one called. The next morning around 8:00 AM, I called again and was transferred to management. At this point, my lease was up. I spoke with Rhonda, who said she would look into what happened, took my phone number, and assured me she would call me back. When I still had not heard back by 11:00 AM, I called again. Rhonda said the team claimed they had come to the house and cleaned, and they were waiting on tracking information to confirm they had been there. When I asked how much I was being charged, I was shocked to hear $400 for a 750-square-foot duplex that was cleaned so poorly I could barely tell anyone had been there. Rhonda asked me to send pictures, which I did around noon. By 2:00 PM, I still had not heard back, so I called again and left yet another voicemail. At 2:08 PM, I received a call, not from management, but from the person scheduling cleaning teams, letting me know they could send someone back out at no additional charge. By that point, the house was locked and I was no longer on the lease. I told her that before I tried to work something out with my landlord to get them back in, I needed full disclosure on how much I would be charged whether or not they returned. She said she would call me back with an answer before 4:00 PM. At 3:50 PM, I still had not heard anything, so I called again. Once again, no one was available to take my call. This has been the worst customer service I have ever received. I am now looking at being charged an outrageous amount for a cleaning that looked like it barely happened, and I may lose money from my deposit because of the poor work that was done. I've had Molly Maid for years and the service is getting worse. Last month I had them come and do the regular service and the floors were still dirty when they left. They looked like they sprayed soap on the hard wood floors and left it to dry. I reported it and they said they would fix them. I was asked to send pictures which I did and I never heard anything. It has been 2.5 weeks. This week I asked for a manager to call me. It has been 4 days with no call. They really do not value their customers. Find another service. I had my very first cleaning with Molly Maid, and I came home to a half-cleaned house. Some rooms looked like they were never even entered -- the window sills still had dirt, fans had thick dust, my daughter's room wasn't vacuumed, mirrors were dirty, furniture wasn't wiped down, and the shower tiles still had residue. The guest/office room bed wasn't made, and that space clearly hadn't been touched. Because this was the initial clean, I was charged double, which I was fine with if the job was done correctly -- but it wasn't. When I called to share my disappointment, I was told the cleaner had quit that day and that they'd redo the cleaning. I appreciated the effort, but after the second visit, the same issues remained -- the fans still weren't touched, and there was still shampoo residue in the shower. When I followed up, the operations manager told me my house is "already clean," so I wouldn't notice much difference unless I paid for a deep cleaning. I was also asked to be home next time to point out what I wanted done -- but that defeats the purpose of hiring a cleaning service. I asked to cancel and requested a partial refund since the job was incomplete, but it's been over three days and no one has reached out, even after waiting a week for a manager to contact me. Overall, very disappointing experience -- I ended up cleaning the house myself after paying for a professional service. Poor communication, poor quality, and not worth the money. read more

We had a "move out" clean done yesterday. The job they did was just okay. They didn't clean the baseboards like they said they would, not inside drawers as they said they would, and there were a couple of areas that didn't look like they'd been cleaned at all. I called and was told they could come out again and clean them but I had already gone ahead and cleaned them myself. I asked for a total cost and asked if the price could be reduced, but I was told that payment from my account had already been processed. This was surprising because i was told yesterday that I would be notified of the total cost before payment was processed. I wasn't! ...and $750 is overpriced. The cleaners parked in front of the garage rented by my neighbor, blocking the neighbor, even though there were plenty of parking spaces all over. So molly maid had to go out and move their van, while charging me for cleaning, even though they were moving their van and not cleaning. Right after they started, Molly Maid employee Jennifer began to make very long PERSONAL phone call, and then she left my apartment from 9:04 am, she only came back at 9:12 am after I called Molly Maid to complain, all this time charging me $120 per hour while Jennifer did very little / no cleaning. They definitely dragged it out to 1.5 hours, because I capped it at 1.5 hours, the cleaners before them (not last time, but the time before that) were able to finish just a little over 1 hour.
