Horrible experience. I hired Tatiana to fold and organize a few tubs of clothes and light house cleaning. She arrived with an approximately 15 year old girl to help her. This wasn't an issue until I could see that the child did not want to be doing this and was working slow and folding clothes very sloppy. I stopped the child from folding the clothes because I knew I'd have to refold them. The light cleaning included the kitchen and the living room and bathroom floors. I had to redo the living room floors, as well as the bathroom floor that looked like it hadn't been touched. I was in a rush to get to work at the end of the job, and just wrote the check for the amount that she told me, and didn't check all work before she left. In hindsight, I should definitely have taken more time to check her work and double check the rate. She had done work for me prior, and I trusted her. However, on top of a rate increase that she didn't tell me about, I also later realize that my clothes were all sloppily folded and stuffed in drawers with very little organization. I thought it would be fair to request a partial refund. So I sent her the following "... I like what you're doing with the youth, it's very necessary. However, you are the professional and the youth is like an intern. Interns don't get paid the same as a professional because the work level isn't the same. I stopped her from folding because she was moving very slow and not folding neatly at all and I knew I'd have to redo it. The socks in the drawer don't match. Like literally a white sock with a Christmas sock together. 3 hours of a 2 person team was not seen in the work that was done. Not sure who did the floors, but it had to be redone, and the bathroom floor wasn't done. Lastly, there isn't any real organization in the drawers ... So, at this point I would like a refund of $45 ($25/hr for 3 hours with you and the youth) or 2 hours for the price of 1 for a future cleaning (@$40/hr). You did an amazing job organizing my apt kitchen and you and Mrs. Pam did an amazing job with the move in cleaning at the house. Up to you, at this point, how you want to move forward." To which her response was simply "I Personally oversaw and aided all services preformed. I do apologize that you are unsatisfied with our services but we will be unable to return or return any funds. Have a wonderful evening" Not sure how she can see those pictures and stand behind that work. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Very unfortunate end to what could have been a great ongoing working relationship. Seems that the quick dollar is more important to Rance Cleaning than quality customer service and sustainable business. read more
