**Restaurant Review** We went to Bosq for our anniversary and the Som there was telling us about how amazing the burger was as the Mollie bar. Naturally we had to give it a try. I was so happy to see a GF bun was an option too. This burger was the most I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E, crave-able burger. It's everything you want in a burger. I'm considering getting a room at the Mollie with this burger. My husband got the Nashville chicken sandwich and really liked his as well. And there's the fries... these fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy goodness on the inside. I'm a slow eater and even when my fries got cold they were still crispy! Our drinks were great too. I had a great margarita drink (forgot name), and my husband got a Mollie toddy, also very good. The only thing I feel was missing was more variety on their lunch menu, it was mostly sandwiches and salads. And it's a pretty swanky place to just hang out so having more appetizer/bar snacks would be perfect with drinks by the fireplace. read more

Beautiful hotel and even better rooftop hot tub! We rode our ebikes from Buena Vista over independence pass while it was closed and stayed at the Mollie. It was the best place to rest our heads! The Mollie staff was amazing as was the beautiful hotel. Very comfortable and beautifully built. The staff accommodated locking and charging our bikes up for us as well. The rooftop bar was a hoot and they have the most beautiful view of the mountain. Really excited to come back this winter. read more

We stayed at The Molly Aspen as part of a vacation trip, and while the experience didn't start off well due to a specific staff member who seemed a bit rude and dismissive, everyone else truly made up for it. I'm not sure if that individual was just having a bad day, but it did make for a rocky first impression. Thankfully, the rest of the team completely turned things around. Every other staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. The valet team and front desk were consistently attentive--always available to answer questions or help with anything we needed. The courtesy drivers were also amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and they were so friendly and social--it really added something special to the stay. The hotel itself is clean and has a cozy, boutique feel. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is expected for this type of hotel, but still comfortable. Personally, I would've preferred just a bit more space. One small issue was that the AC wasn't working in our room, which may have just been a technical glitch. Additionally, there was quite a bit of nearby construction, so the balcony wasn't the quietest spot--but of course, that's outside the hotel's control. This hotel is probably best suited for couples or guests traveling with a dog, since it has a cozy, intimate vibe and is pet-friendly. However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for families--there's no swimming pool, and the rooms are fairly tight, which may not offer enough space or amenities for kids or larger groups. Although I may not be returning myself due to the room size and lack of certain amenities, I don't hold that against the hotel--it's simply a matter of personal preference. If a cozy, boutique-style stay is what you're looking for, I think The Molly Aspen could be a great fit. Personally, I would've preferred a bit more space, access to a pool, and a few more amenities to make the stay feel more complete and comfortable. Of course, the staff can't change those structural aspects, and they truly did their best to provide a great experience. So while it may not have been the perfect fit for me, it could be ideal for couples or solo travelers who enjoy a more intimate setting. read more

Our family of three stayed here. We live in Colorado and wanted to try this new boutique hotel. It is pet friendly and across from a park. The hotel only offers valet parking. There is also paid parking on the street that is safe and within close proximity to the hotel. The Mollie is very close to downtown Aspen, so we walked to everything and it's close to Ajax! Even if you are exhausted from skiing, the walk is easy to get back to the hotel or you can use their shuttle. Our room was modern, very clean with a simplistic Scandinavian vibe and we loved the toiletries that were available. There is a rooftop hot tub and bar where you can relax and enjoy the Mountain View. There is also free entertainment on the roof at night such as live music and movies. There is also a coffee shop and a restaurant, but we didn't try either. The lobby is chic, with a fireplace and comfortable, rustic furniture. We are in our 60's, and feel this hotel might be more suitable to a younger crowd, but we still felt welcomed and would highly recommend this quaint chateau to anyone visiting Aspen. It's priced really well considering how close it is to downtown. read more

Extremely Disappointed - Misrepresentation and Unsafe Room at Mollie Hotel Our recent stay at the Mollie Hotel was nothing short of a disaster. After two nights in a nice room, we were told we needed to move because the website was wrong when we booked our room. To our shock, the room they "relocated" us to was essentially a dark, cramped basement space that should never be used for guests. It was drastically smaller than our original room, had almost no natural light, and featured a single window facing a cinder block wall. In my opinion, this room presented a serious safety risk--particularly in an emergency, as the window could not reasonably function as an egress. I would go so far as to call it a potential fire hazard. We were left to fend for ourselves and ultimately had to move to a different hotel entirely at our own expense. I find it completely unacceptable that a hotel at this price point would treat guests so dismissively and place them in a room that I believe fails to meet basic safety standards. It felt like a bait-and-switch--clearly not the premium boutique experience the Mollie tries to market. Travelers beware: double-check what kind of room you're actually getting. We won't be returning, and I strongly suggest others think twice before booking here. read more

We recently stayed at Mollie in Aspen and left with mixed feelings. While certain parts of our stay were enjoyable, several frustrating experiences made it difficult to fully recommend. We arrived in Aspen a couple of hours early and returned to the hotel about 20 minutes before the official 4 p.m. check-in. Unfortunately, the parking situation immediately created stress. The hotel only offers valet parking, yet no valet attendants were present when we arrived. When my daughter went inside for help, she was met with rudeness and condescension from the front desk staff, who offered no assistance. Thankfully, a kind employee from the bar noticed what was happening and helped us, eventually leading to the valet's return. That valet--who turned out to be a front desk staff member stepping in--was professional and apologetic, and she set the tone for a better experience to come. Although we were initially told our room wasn't ready, it became available just five minutes later, slightly ahead of the official check-in time. The room itself was small but clean and cozy--ideal for travelers who don't need much space. If you prefer a more standard sized hotel room, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. That said, we had a lovely first night. The second day was the highlight of our stay. The courtesy drivers as well as the front desk staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly-truly some of the best staff members we interacted with. Unfortunately, our last day ended on a sour note. We requested a luggage cart via text, as instructed, but received no response. We waited around 20 minutes and ended up carrying everything downstairs ourselves which was difficult with me being in a wheelchair. When we asked about it, we were told no one had seen our message, which was frustrating--especially given the hotel's emphasis on customer service and experience. When asked how our stay was during checkout, I shared the ups and downs. The response was dismissive, with the staff member pointing out that we were technically checked in early--as if that erased the earlier issues. In reality, being checked in 15 minutes early isn't something worth boasting about. Overall, Mollie Aspen has potential, with a few standout staff members who clearly care. However, inconsistent service, small rooms, and valet-only parking (which we weren't aware of in advance) detracted from our stay. I'm not sure we'll return, especially given the number of similarly priced options in Aspen that may offer a more seamless and welcoming experience. read more

A hostel experience for a caviar price. No one showed up at the airport. No one helped with the luggage when we arrived at the hotel. Refused to refund $20 cab fair which they said at the airport they would do. Check-in is a disaster! The organization isn't supporting the staff with a system -or employees -to run the hotel to actually serve the guests efficiently. I was literally worried for the staff because they were trying so hard to make things work with a system which doesn't support them. This is a no-win situation for staff and guests. My family and I recently stayed at the MOLLIE Aspen and we had a phenomenal experience. This is a little boutique hotel in Aspen that is welcoming and truly feels like home away from home. This hotel hits the mark in every category from the outstanding food to friendly staff. The food was perfect for all meals of the day. The breakfast was tasty and the menu featured unique and traditional dishes. The dinner menu also had a great variety. Every item we ordered was delicious and fresh. We did not have one bad meal and would look forward to breakfast every morning. Along with the fantastic culinary experience, the staff could not have been lovelier. They were attentive and passionate about making sure we had the best experience possible. This is what makes the Mollie stand out as all our needs, and more, were met. The hotel itself was beautiful with a cozy, comforting vibe and is a key factor in what makes this hotel special. The atmosphere is great but the food is not quite there & service is nonexistent. I've been by for a few breakfasts and lunch twice, hoping the service would get better. It hasn't. The wait staff seems to not even notice you in the living room/restaurant seating area. I went & ordered at the counter. I finally got my food & the eggs are cold & bread was not what I ordered. Amazing customer service! The staff went above and beyond. And the interior is beautifully designed.

First, the restaurant could hardly be called a restaurant. It's basically an area in the lobby of the hotel with some tables. Not very attractive or inviting. Secondly, the restaurant staff did not seem particularly experienced and had to direct all enquiries to the manager. Lastly, I made a reservation on Open Table for 7 people at 7 PM as it showed availability. Unbeknownst to me it directed my reservation to an area called the holiday bar which is an area upstairs which does not even serve food. Therefore, they were unable to accommodate our party for dinner and the best they could do is offer a free drink and to have their concierge see if they could find us another place to dine in Aspen on a busy Saturday night.
