It would have been nice if the hotel gave us an information sheet about the hotel (garage, street parking, pool, bar, etc.) when we arrived. Tight garage, only one entrance for in/out. Make sure you use the keycode at the top street entrance of the garage. Door opens automatically when exiting. Bar was closed. The whole place is in need of paint job, carpets changed, etc. Does not look like it has been cared for in a long time. Carpet and furniture stains found. Limited street parking. Parking sux in Aspen - everywhere. Public parking garage is several blocks away. One elevator for guests and house cleaning.

The property has a very small, quaint, almost residential feel. Some people may really enjoy that atmosphere, but personally, I was expecting something a bit brighter, more open, and with more amenities for what I was paying. The overall experience felt much more like staying in a guest room at a relative's home than staying at a $300+ per night hotel. The complimentary breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. The selection consisted of two cereals (one being Cheerios), individually wrapped bagels and muffins, small containers of Activia yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, strawberry jam, milk, orange juice, and basic coffee with half-and-half and sugar. There were no warm food options at all. I certainly wasn't expecting an extravagant breakfast buffet, but at this price point, I think some fresh pastries, fresh fruit, better coffee options, and at least one or two warm breakfast choices would have made the experience feel considerably more thoughtful and reflective of the nightly rate. I recognize that part of what you're paying for is the Aspen location, and the hotel does have a cozy, traditional feel that may appeal to some travelers. However, when comparing it to other hotels I've stayed at within a similar price range that offer more updated spaces, amenities, and a more substantial breakfast, I personally didn't feel the value was there. We went in for one drink and stayed for a 3 course meal. Zsofia our server greeted us before our butts even touch the booth. Not only was the service exceptional but her recommendations couldn't have been more tailored to our needs. Personally I hate an empty glass and thank god Natalia was behind the bar. Every drink came out ice cold and you could tell that it was made with love. Overall a 10 out of 10. If it's your first time in Snowmass and you don't come here you must hate a good time.

Great food at reasonable prices is increasingly rare around here, and they deliver on both. A particular highlight of our visit was Jason, our bartender. He's exactly the kind of professional that elevates a dining experience -- attentive, knowledgeable, personable, and with a great sense of humor. He made the evening feel effortless and memorable, which is a real skill. The Flower Shop has everything it takes to become a true local staple. I'll be recommending it without hesitation.

I know that whatever number of people was advertised as accommodating on the site (VRBO?) was a bit off bed-wise (must have included all sleeping surfaces including couches) so a few people in our group were peeved (they were going to have to sleep on couches). The finishes were very nice - Hermes soap and fresh towels. I would HIGHLY recommend the maid service if you're in a big group. It had pots and pans and all of that stuff; no spices or anything like that if you're going to be cooking, but it had wine glasses and serving stuff as well. The hot tub was great (nice and hot!). The location was great. It certainly doesn't suck at all.

The cabin was originally built as housing for the local quarry workers but has been beautifully remodeled and updated. There was no no cell service in town, no TV in the cabin, and the only internet access was in the main lodge. It was wonderful to unplug for 2 days. The town itself is very laid back and is a nice change from many of the more tourist orientated towns in the Colorado mountains.

It had such a friendly small town vibe, everyone was so chill. My Only complaint was that the mattress was extremely uncomfortable (...like I would of slept better camping) which kind of sucked because everything else was so great about the place. The phone service was no good but that is was is so fun and relaxing about small remote towns. It's nice to unplug. They did have WiFi that worked okay for things like checking email but not for streaming or anything like that. The shower in the bathroom was super nice but it was one of the fancy ones that doesn't have a door, it's just half glass and open the other half but when you did shower the entire bathroom and room got super humid and muggy. Hotel is dog friendly which was awesome for our pups. Also, they only take cash and check but they are super flexible!
