Wanted to like this a whole place a lot. It's half way there, but a whole half away, too. Situated perfectly smack dab in downtown Aspen, the location is amazing. Maybe that's why the owners sold it for tens of millions over its appraised value (?). Could not sleep for four nights - room was a hot mess with bed uncomfortable, bathroom from the 1950s, and carpet from the 1970s. Breakfast was amazing as was the crew that ran it. Cookies in the lobby were super yummy.

Pool view from a lounge chair, just lovely

LOVe LOVE LOVE this hotel. It has all the charms of a family run business while being centrally located in the heart of Aspen. Everyone on staff here is so friendly and helpful and the amenities are out of this world. Couldnt ask for more with the free breakfast, beautifully appointe rooms, hot tub, sauna, cookies in the afternoon and beautiful cool pool on a hot summers day! i cant even imagine how great it is in the winter time. I love Aspen in the summer and this place is one of the reasons why! thanks guys for making my stay so lovely.

I can easily see a tradition starting here every April. The staff and extremely beautiful family who runs this place are great! I guess you could say I came in for an off season stay, but this place, along with it's neighbor St. Regis, was a hub of activity during this time of year, breathing new life into the town of Aspen. It has all the perks you could ask for from a ski lodge that's well suited for the whole year round! sauna, hot tub, pool, massages, rooftop bar (which held NORML's largest fundraiser of the year!) and underground parking. We left the car in the basement never to return until 3 days later when we finally had to check out! The best single bed rooms are the Kings with a couch on the South side of the building. They have a wrap around balcony, huge window with a view of the luxurious St. Regis, out the front door is a view of the pool and lobby, and are located right by the elevator. Not sure what the name is but I would go so far as to ask for ROOM 320 or 420 (yes, get room 420 during the cannabis crown convention). Did I mention affordable? You can get a room for 80-120 a night! A steal for Aspen, Colorado!

It SNOWED in Aspen and we had a great time hitting the slopes here. The sauce on the salmon was to die for, and the rooms were clean!

There is also paid parking on the street that is safe and within close proximity to the hotel. The Mollie is very close to downtown Aspen, so we walked to everything and it's close to Ajax! Even if you are exhausted from skiing, the walk is easy to get back to the hotel or you can use their shuttle. Our room was modern, very clean with a simplistic Scandinavian vibe and we loved the toiletries that were available. There is a rooftop hot tub and bar where you can relax and enjoy the Mountain View. There is also free entertainment on the roof at night such as live music and movies. There is also a coffee shop and a restaurant, but we didn't try either. The lobby is chic, with a fireplace and comfortable, rustic furniture. We are in our 60's, and feel this hotel might be more suitable to a younger crowd, but we still felt welcomed and would highly recommend this quaint chateau to anyone visiting Aspen. It's priced really well considering how close it is to downtown.

I was so happy to see a GF bun was an option too. This burger was the most I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E, crave-able burger. It's everything you want in a burger. I'm considering getting a room at the Mollie with this burger. My husband got the Nashville chicken sandwich and really liked his as well. And there's the fries... these fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy goodness on the inside. I'm a slow eater and even when my fries got cold they were still crispy! Our drinks were great too. I had a great margarita drink (forgot name), and my husband got a Mollie toddy, also very good. The only thing I feel was missing was more variety on their lunch menu, it was mostly sandwiches and salads. And it's a pretty swanky place to just hang out so having more appetizer/bar snacks would be perfect with drinks by the fireplace.

They allow him to check to the room which by then has been cleaned by room service. There is nothing in lost and found of his. The receptionist starts creating scenarios and possible outcomes (maybe you left it at work, maybe you left it in the car, maybe you left it at a bar) and ultimately ends the conversation "well that's you". We have stayed in many hotels and when we have forgotten items they have always been returned and even mailed back to our home which we obviously pay the the shipping and handling. The staff likes to keep forgotten items and gas light you about it.
