We came home from vacation and had a very active mole due to over watering!! Terry had me send a picture, he came out the next day, set two traps and returned the next day, as he knew he had caught the mole. Terry is tenacious. If you have a mole digging tunnels in your yard, Terry will catch it. I call Terry every year when moles invade my yard. He arrives promptly to limit the damage and catches the mole in a day or two. Terry deserves my five star rating. I recommend him to you. read more

We have been calling Terry for years. He does his job well done. At this point, I just send him a txt, he comes to set the trap. He returns a few days later and leaves a note if he caught a mole or not and the service charge. Then I send him a check. Usually I don't even see him during this whole process. It's a a business relationship based on trust. His service fee is fair price. read more

Great experience. Terry really knows his stuff. Set three traps and caught 3 moles. I highly recommend him!

We called Terry the first time when we had a mole and he came and caught it. We live in mole paradise but moles fear Terry because he never fails. We are so glad to know him. While we would prefer not to need his professional services, we can't imagine what we would do if we didn't have him as a resource. Thanks to Terry our yard is once again a mole-free zone. read more

I have used Mole Works for the past 4 years and have always had prompt, friendly and successful service! Terry is a professional and knows exactly where and how to set traps to catch those destructive critters. If you're reading this review, DO NOT USE ANYONE ELSE! Terry is THE MAN!! He came out right away when I called, surveyed the situation, set two traps & said he'd be back. Two weeks later he picked up the long-deceased critter. Plus, he is the friendliest and most personable guy you'd ever want to meet. A total pro and a complete pleasure to work with. 5 stars really aren't enough here. read more

Terry is very professional and knowledgeable. His reputation and reviews made us call him right away when we started seeing mounds of freshly dug dirt in the yard. He came the next day and got the situation assessed. He was able to get rid of the gophers we had been dealing with for over a year in a couple days. Huge thank you to a hard working small business owner. Highly recommend! read more

My front lawn got torn up - I needed help. I tried to do it myself - traps, "light it up and stick it in the hole" things - nothing worked; the front yard was looking more and more like a mine field. It was clear to me that it was time for someone who knew what they were doing to do the job. I called Terry who stopped by the same day and set his traps. (The agreement is straight forward (you pay and he will get the mole), he was on time, no hustle service.) Four days later - the mole is gone! The job done right! Great service. Thank you Terry! read more

New World's Record. Terry came out to deal with a mole that was tearing up our lawn and our neighbor's lawn. 10 minutes after the trap was set, the mole was dead. End of story. This man is the only person to call if you are having mole issues. read more

Mole Works - Pest Control Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Terry the "Mole Man" is all business and a master at catching these varmints. No Thom F#$@ery with him, just results. I've called him twice for two separate jobs....each time took less than 24 hours where other pest services have failed. Call him up and just let him get to work. read more

I saw Terry at a house nearby while I was out on a walk. He had just caught a mole. I could tell he was good at what he did, so I asked him for his card since I've had some mole issues in the past. Sure enough, a couple of months later, I had a mole. I called Terry and he got right back to me. He was at our house the next day setting a trap in our backyard. He checked the trap several times throughout the week, and eventually it was clear that the mole had left. Terry picked up his trap, we had a nice conversation for a while, and then he left...never charging me a thing for his time; he just asked that if I ever get another mole that I call him. With service like that, who else would I call?! This guy is great. And he was right, the mole was gone, and now all is calm again in our yard. Really a great experience. THANK YOU, TERRY!! read more

I've used Terry in the past with good success, however, he was always very brusk. I thought he was just a grouchy old guy with poor people skills. I see there are some mixed reviews, & while he DID catch our moles, this guy needs a lesson in respect, common courtesy & professionalism. The following season when I spotted mole holes, I contacted him, he said he would be out one day the following week, that he was fishing. I asked him if he could give me an idea of what day so that I could make sure to unlock the gate. He said he didn't need this, and if he didn't have access to the yard all week, he didn't need or want our business. I started to say that I have kids & dogs....and then he lost it & began yelling. I hung up on him. It was the craziest interaction that I have ever had. Terry knows how to catch moles, but his explosive behavior is unacceptable, and I won't tolerate this from anyone, less someone that I am hiring to come onto my property. **After writing my original review, Terry posted a rebuttal calling my review "fake." Fine, whatever, I'm not invested in a Yelp fight with this guy. Then he began badgering me via messages behind the scenes. He was demanding that I provide an invoice as proof to him that I had been a customer, and accusing me of being a competitor. His messages escalated to the point where I contacted Yelp. read more

Terry is as honest and reliable and authentic as they come. There is no one better for your mole problems. Does tons of work in our neighborhood in the west hills. Even taught his son how to do it to help put himself through college and learn the value to hard work and customer service. Guy knows his stuff, treats his customers well, and believes in sharing his knowledge with customers and his son. Good guy. Give him your business read more

Mole Works just caught a pesky mole in our backyard. We just had our landscape done and the little guy showed up making a few mounds. Kind of a bummer with the brand new grass. But Mole works delivered as promised and got the job done. Thank you Mole Works! read more

Just had a very odd experience with Terry from Mole Control. After reading the good reviews on Yelp I decided to give him a call to come take care of a mole problem in my yard. Terry answered the phone and I told him I was looking for mole control services. He was kind of brusk from the get go, but I ignored it and scheduled a visit for "Thursday, Friday or Saturday" as he was not sure when he would be in my area. As it was Monday and moles were tearing up my front lawn, I decided to call around to see if I could do something sooner. I found another mole control service that was cheaper and could come out the next day. As I was about to call Terry back to thank him and cancel, he called me. Perfect, right? No. He told me he was driving by my house and that he could take a look right now. I told him thank you but that after talking to him I had decided to go another direction. This set him off and he basically yelled over the phone that I should have told him that on the phone earlier and why was I wasting his time. I calmly started explaining but he hung up on me. I called him back directly and started to explain that is unacceptable behavior. He made a rude comment and hung up on me. Overall a very strange exchange, one that was totally unnecessary and could have been handled like an adult. read more

The mole works extermination Inc. sold us 2 months of mole control services. When they were notified that the moles reappeared after 1 month they did not return to finish the job. The proprietor Terry Siedelman was very condescending and aggressive to both my wife and I when we called him to request that he finish the job. I've contacted him twice to get him to finish the job and he's hung up on me. He also walked away with two mole traps that belong to me that I had set on my property. Again, he was very angry and defensive. He has a bad attitude and a temper stay away!!! read more

I called Terry to come out and remove a mole that was quickly tearing up my yard. He came out the next day, set a couple of traps and knew exactly what he was doing and what he was about. He clearly was very experienced. He caught them all lickety-split and my garden can now be put back together. He was extremely knowledgeable and has been doing this for decades. I'm really glad that I went with him instead of a pest removal company who doesn't specialize in this kind of thing and probably would have run me in circles while my yard got destroyed. I'll definitely call him again if I have more mole issues. Also he was very fun to talk to. read more

Do not call this guy! If you like being talked down to, doesn't show up ever week, griped: this is 20 miles for me and literally bitching the whole time he was here. Muttering under his breath this should be $300. Website says $125 but before he saw anything it was $150. I should have fired him the first day the way he talked. He didn't want me around to see how he does it cause he didn't want me to learn his technique, lol. When calling around, the other companies guessed it was Terry I was talking about, his reputation. Found same price from nice people, only they follow up for 6 months. read more

This guy knows his stuff! We tried all the usual remedies over the last 8 months: electronic 'thumpers', smoke bombs, poison pellets, and poison gel. The poison gel seemed to work for about a month. But then the critters were back with a vengeance. My friend Lauretta, had used Terry so we decided this was the way to go. Within 24 hours Terry had trapped one in our yard and one in the neighbors yard. I would have saved a LOT of money, not to mention time and aggravation if I had just started with Terry in the first place. I'll call him again when the next one comes a callin'. Thanks Terry! read more

Terry at Mole Works has been trapping for me for several years. Every time, he's able to set one or two traps, and usually has at least one caught in a day or two. Excellent to work with, responsive, honest, reliable, and extremely effective. Highly recommended to anyone who struggles with moles! read more

I moved into a new house in NE PDX last summer, and we were plagued with molehill after molehill. Throughout the fall we repeatedly tried getting rid of them ourselves, including setting our own traps, and never got a single one. They were not active over the winter, but came back with a vengeance in the spring. We wanted to revamp the yard, put in new beds, etc and it's hard to go to the trouble when it's just going to get ravaged. Called Terry of Mole Works last Friday around 10 - he was out at 3:30, set a couple traps and said he'd be back every 5 days or so to check them and reset. I was seeing anywhere from 1-3 new hills a day at that point.. haven't seen another one in the week since. The first traps he set caught 2 moles within A DAY! There's no evidence of any more, but he's going to keep monitoring for the next few weeks just in case. I wish I would have called him ages ago!! read more

You need a mole removed? This is your guy. Don't bother searching any further. I spent several days on Angie's List and Yelp trying to find someone I'd trust to handle the job while a mole continued destroying my lawn. I finally came across Terry and I couldn't be happier with the service he provided. He knows exactly what he's doing and while moles can be pesky and challenging to catch Terry will get the job done and you too will feel the joy of having a post-it note left on your door "mole caught!" read more

Highly recommend! We planted new sod and our yard had 18+ mole mounds. We tried to trap them ourselves, spent a lot of money on different traps but couldn't catch one. Our yard was a mess!! I called moleworks and have never encountered such an a**hole. I was calling from my self phone which has an out of state area code and the first thing Mr. moleworks said was "what are you trying to sell me don't call me again".
