First time trying this place and had to get a variety of goodies! My boyfriend got an iced pistachio latte and he absolutely loved it! We then got an order of baklava, cheese danish, and bitifour! The kind cashier gifted us a ma'amoul and everything was delicious! Sadly didn't get a picture of the cheese danish and the baklava but will be coming back so next time!

We had a wonderful experience at Mokhamena- the inside is beautiful, the food displays are well lit, clean and stylish. The music in the background is really nice & there are bits of history paying homage and respect to Yemen. We have never had an opportunity to experience Yemeni fare and we're excited. So excited, we tried just about everything edible. Staff were friendly, helped with descriptions and pronunciation- and offered suggestions on which drink to try. We tried the Adeni Tea, Mufawaar and Turkish coffee. The Adeni tea is subtle and light. The Mufawaar coffee, is also subtle but flavorful, in a nice way. The spices are not overwhelming. The Turkish coffee is, as expected, strong- served with a whole date and we understood why. Even though it's strong, it's delicious. For the food- Ma'amoul cookie was nice. A thick shortbread cookie a date paste filling that wasn't overpowering. We were able to meet the owner, who was very welcoming and chatted with us. She gave us a slice of cheese Kunafa, that I have been eager to try. She said she just got the machine in that ensures it's perfect, every time. Probably the most delicious bite of the day. It tasted like a sweet, slightly crunchy cornbread full of melted mozzarella. I actually did a happy jig in my seat. Thank you for offering this experience, cheese Kunafa, and conversation. I hope you continue to thrive. I will post another review about the entirety of the purchases and that experience.

Had a good experience at Mokhamena! Everything I had was delightful. I had one of their seasonal lattes (snickerdoodle), ma'amoul which is a crumbly cookie filled with a light chewy date filling, and the manakeesh which was like a savory bread. Their pastries were light and tasty and the latte was not overly sweet. Everything was conveniently priced and service was efficient as well. The space itself is spacious whether you come to do some work (they have WiFi) or if you come with a few friends for some tea/ coffee and pastries.

What an absolute gem! This Yemeni coffee shop is beautiful, spacious, and has both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it such a relaxing place to enjoy your coffee. The pastries are incredible -- the Dubai chocolate muffins, croissants, baklava, butter cookies, and more are all fresh and delicious. The menu is extensive with so many drink options and an impressive variety of syrups to choose from. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and informative, which made the experience even better. I feel so lucky to have tried this place since it's pretty far from where we live. If it were closer, I'd be here all the time. Truly a 5/5 experience -- highly recommend!

I really like this place. Every time I want to hit star bucks I come here instead. The drinks are top notch. The snacks are great. The service is really good too. And the vibe is unmatched. I probably will come by tomorrow because the drinks are just that good! My personal favorite is the pistachio late hot but maybe I'll try it cold. Either way I'm home to enjoy my drink, service, and snack.

Great coffee. Saturday they were slammed and it took a while to get my coffee. Outside cute little patio with 6- 4 top tables. Inside is noisy with lots of solid surfaces. Watching the bar where they were filling ordes had multiple people, I believe if they had 2 with someone directing it would speed up the orders. They have the Dubai chocolate strawberries in a cup for $15.

Upon walking inside of Mokhamena I felt a calm and pristine environment. There a beautiful painting on the wall along overall a great vibe. I did see someone doing work, so it's great to know there are other places to get work done and enjoy a pastry and drink. I ordered a matcha latte and manakeesh. Both were good. Service was nice and prompt

One of the greatest things about being a Yelp member is, I always go back to places over and over again. I tried the Pink Splash and the Matcha Lavender drink. These two drinks were very refreshing. I just love the vibe of this cafe. The music has a great vibe and the staff are friendly. I recommend this spot to everyone.

I had the chance to visit Mokhamena twice! I had a great first impression of the cafe. I love how big this cafe is and the parking isn't so crowded like the other location. There's free wifi, so I noticed that there's lots of people studying here. There's plenty of seats for group study sessions or just hanging out with friends. The service was outstanding and the cashier was so helpful when I couldn't decide which matcha flavor I should get. She let me sample the cream tops so I could choose between the pistachio and strawberry. During my first visit, I had the pistachio matcha. The flavor was sweet, but I really don't know how else to describe the pistachio flavor. It wasn't exactly nutty, but it was good! I also ordered the manakeesh. It's a great savory small bite, but I think I still prefer to go to Blue Fig Farms for these. My second visit wasn't as great as the first time. I ordered the strawberry matcha. It tasted great! The only issue was that it took so long for my friends and I to receive our orders. I thought that they must've forgotten our order or something. This doesn't deter me from coming back to sit in store, but I'd be a little nervous about ordering to-go.

Super friendly staff! This place is so cute for a catch up or even to work from. There's lots of drinks and food options on their menu and loved the other drinks. I got a pistachio matcha latte and it was a bit sweeter than I wanted. I did ask for reduced sweetness but still was a bit too sweet.

I love middle eastern coffee and pastries so I decided to give this place a try. This location is in a strip mall so parking is free and generous. The business was very clean and organized. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. I wanted a hot coffee and inquired about the Saudi Coffee but the cashier discouraged me from ordering it. He told me that I probably wouldn't like it...go figure. So against my better judgement, I settled on the iced pistachio latte. I asked if it was super sweet and I was told that it wasn't...a lie lol; it was way to sweet for my liking and only drank about 1/4 of it and tossed it. I also ordered a couple of baked goods. The Honeycomb bread was okay but would not order again. It was a standard white bread, stuffed (very lightly) with cream cheese and served warm with a syrup. The Ma'amoul, a date filled shortbread was delicious and would order again. The Kunafa, shredded phyllo dough, nuts and syrup was okay. I expected it to be crispy and it wasn't. I wouldn't order this again. There are other baked goods, maybe I just have to find one that "wow's" me. The ambiance was relaxed. I probably wouldn't visit this business again unless someone makes a good menu recommendation.

Lots of sludgy grounds in the drink. Burnt taste.

I went twice to this location two days in a row because I enjoyed it so much. First with a friend and then I had to introduce it to my kids. The coffees and teas are delish and unique, as well as the smoothies and juices (I didn't try those but my kids loved them). We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good! Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. You can ask them for descriptions or ask for a menu to see details and ingredients. They're open late too, so I think my next visit will be a GNO or a date with my hubby.

They also had free WiFi & since it's near the university, it's popping with college students working on their laptops. I absolutely love the variety of items to eat & drink! I got the Dubai chocolate, manakeesh, mint mango smoothie (seasonal for Ramadan, not a permanent item) & a Vimto refresher. I've never had Dubai chocolate before but I am STOKED I had it here for the first time. Perfect size, perfect crispy texture & powerful flavor. I love that the pistachio isn't overwhelming. The manakeesh is my all time favorite. Flatbread with white melted cheese & the perfect seasonings. It's embarrassing how quick I ate it. I can't savor it because it's THAT GOOD!! Only $3!!! The Vimto refresher is my absolute favorite new drink. It has sparkling water with berries. Chefs kiss. I know it's going to hit hard in the summer when I'm needing a cold drink. The mint mango smoothie is PHENOMENAL! The balance of mint & mango is just right. I hope they keep this item around. The service was also wonderful. Kind baristas that are knowledgeable & definitely hard workers! They are a very busy business & they handle it with ease. One thing I do not care for (but it will not affect negatively on my review) is credit card payments. Your subtotal they tell you after you order is only if you pay cash. If you pay card, it is atomically more because of credit card charges but they do not say that. It will also reflect an even higher amount on the screen because it automatically adds 20% gratuity to your credit card charge. So it goes from one price, to another, to another. I always tip but if it's not a restaurant, it will typically be 10%. Be aware of the charges when you go. I absolutely love this spot. I can't wait to try new drinks & food!

Came here on a Sunday at noon & it was packed!! I decided to order the Moroccan eggs & an Irish iced latte. The eggs were BOMB!! The garnishes that came with the eggs, along with the sourdough bread was the chefs kiss. It does come on an extremely hot skillet that I kept accidentally grazing so I would say a small adjustment could be to put it in a bowl to serve instead of a metal skillet. The Irish latte was good, had a lot of cinnamon but it definitely had a great amount of caffeine. The menu is simple & that's something I truly admire in an establishment. Their desserts looked SO GOOD. I'll have to come by another time to try it. The only downfall to this visit was the air was uncomfortably warm & stifling. It was in the lows 90's outside & it felt just like that inside.

The space is actually one of their biggest strengths there's a lot of seating, plenty of room to bring your laptop and work remotely, and areas where people can gather. It's also connected to a church, so it definitely leans into that community-centered atmosphere. Unfortunately, after going back 3-4 times hoping my experience would improve, the coffee has been consistently disappointing. It tastes burnt and weak at the same time like warm water with sugar. There barely seems to be any real espresso in the drinks. On more than one occasion, I've taken several sips hoping it would get better... and ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was just that bad. That's honestly frustrating, especially when you're paying for specialty coffee. The only drink I've actually enjoyed there is the pumpkin spice latte, that one was solid.
